No one can put a date on when Jesus will come back,and Paul said that he had no need to write about the day of the Lord,because it comes as a thief in the night,and he does not know,but then gave a hint when it is near,when the world says peace and safety,which means they are gong in the direction of the beast kingdom,and trying to solve the problems of the world by their own efforts,which probably starts when the tribulation begins,for that is when they will operate by the 10 horn kingdom,and a unified religious system,and Paul said the saints will not be deceived by what they are doing as on how to obtain peace in the world,and benefit mankind spiritually,for they will know that it is not the operation of God.
No one can give an exact date when Jesus will come back,and prophesy will reveal when it is close,which these people spout off certain dates,when they do not understand that there is prophesy that still has to come about before Jesus comes back,and even if you know it is close,you still cannot know the exact day.
Harold Camping quoted 1 Thessalonians 5,that he can know the exact date,because when Paul said he does not need to write of the day of the Lord,he was saying that it was not the resurrection,but the wrath of the Lord,but when Paul said,that he had no need to write about the day of the Lord,because it comes as a thief in the night,it is talking about the resurrection,because it will separate the people doing right,and the ones being hypocritical.When Paul said that the day would not overcome the saints he was talking the day when they say peace and safety,not the resurrection.
If that day will not overcome all the saints,if it is the resurrection,then why was Harold Camping the only one that knew,or perhaps a few people.
It appears that a lot people that set themselves up as spiritual giants,seem to have faulty interpretations of the Bible,and think highly of themselves,which God said the preacher is not to be lifted up in pride,and God resists the proud,but gives grace unto the humble,and a person should not think higher of themself than what they are,and Paul was given a thorn in the flesh,a messenger of Satan to buffet him,so that Paul would not get arrogant because of the abundance of revelations that God showed him.
The best way to understand the Bible,and have knowledge concerning it,is to be humble,give glory to God,and do not think highly of yourself above other people,which God said what makes you to differ than anybody else.When you have a humble attitude that is when you will learn the Bible the best,but that does not mean you will be correct in some interpretations until you learn about it better,but you will not be whacked out on interpretations coming from people who think highly of them self.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,but if you are a prideful person then you are not fearing the LORD like you should,so then how can He give you wisdom,for God resists the proud,but gives grace unto the humble.
Which I do not want to label Harold Camping as arrogant,but most times it is,which I heard one man say that he is the co-prophet of the end time,and the third angel of the apocalypse,and his predictions are whacked out,which he is on youtube by the name of William Tapley.

This is so funny... When I just became a Christian, I always used to fall into 'traps' like these about rhythms and algorithms 'hidden' in the Bible and history that supposedly tell us the 'end of the world' is upon us 'for real' this time, but they continue to do that every year - especially in the month of September.
We'll just have to wait and see how everything unfolds in the coming months and years to come. The 70th week of Daniel only begins when he confirms the covenant with many and there is no such thing around the corner - yet.

I know and I'm curious about how this thing about Palestine will evolve the coming weeks and months but they have been trying to do this for decades - the thing they're trying to do right now (Palestinian statehood). But it's true that more and more countries are siding with the Palestinians; I believe France has been saying that it would recognize a sovereign Palestinian state. When the real covenant will be signed I believe Turkey will come on the scene as a peace broker. How dumb are they... There is already a state of Palestine! Palestine is a geographic name for a location and there Israel has its nation. I'm also curious about Netanyahu's speech at the UN this month. Exciting times.

Every prophesy savvy person knows that on September 22, 2015, there is going to be a rather large, that would be a 2.5 mile wide and very hot incoming, asteroid hit the Atlantic just before Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico will be devestated but then the massive tidal wave which results from the meteor will obliterate the eastern seaboard of North Amercia with the water reaching at least 100 miles in...talk about shore leave!
Then a major earthquake will occur...and it won't even be the San Andreas...some new fault line apparently and the west coast will suffer major damage as a result and another tidal wave resulting from the earthquake will play water games with the west coast
Now you have to understand that the reputation of prophets is at stake here, but interestingly, blood moon specialists declare that the end of the world as you know it is actually set for the 28th of this month. Forget buying early Christmas gifts you won't need 'em!
No I am not making any of this up...so, the 22nd, the 23rd and the 28th all seem to be red letter days for prophets and there shall be much rejoicing in one of their camps if thousands of people perish, loose everything and basically have not moved on the advice of one of these prophets.

I only recently found out about this maybe two days ago, I just happened to come across it while doing research on the bible. It was said to make impact on the 24th by many sources and apparently is so powerful that it will more than 100 atomic bombs. Now whether that is true or not I have no idea but more than 6 months ago I did have a dream where I was looking at earth from space and I saw a giant flaming astroid smash into earth creating powerful shock waves destroying all power and all electricity. Many ppl like to playfully mock such events like this after all many have said stuff like this was going to happen and it didn't but it's all fun and games until it actually happens

If the earth is NOT destroyed by an asteroid in 10 days, will the guys who prophesied this apologize, admit they were wrong, and promise to stop giving false prophecies??

I did watch the whole video and there was a lot of I supposing going on and I don't knows.....
Blond knows this that Jesus will return someday and it won't be a quiet event....Every eye will see Him even those that pierced Him.... He comes with a shout with the voice of the Arch Angel... Trumpets will sound and the dead in Christ will rise and meet Him in the air and those of us alive will be caught up in the clouds.... This is not a silent event.
The important point for all of us is to be ready to meet Him today, right now, not some rush job to get ready for a particular date as any one of us could die today and the next thing we would know would be seeing Jesus return... Jesus Himself referred to death as a sleep and when you sleep you are not aware of anything that goes on around you....
So we each should be doing our repenting today, getting our hearts ready to meet our Lord today right now so that we are ready when He does return in His perfect timing....Not some predicted or supposed timing....
