Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is not saying something bad about the Holy Spirit. I have done that and yet I am a Christian. Blaspheming the Holy Spirit - the unforgivable sin - is rejecting the Holy Spirit when he convicts you and tries to lead you to Christ. That is the ultimate blasphemy. If you are not saved then Christ is not bound to forgive you of your sins so that one sin of rejection of the Holy Spirit leads to Christ not forgiving anything else.
