Just a little while ago I went through a crisis. I didn't feel God anymore and I suddenly thought there was something wrong with me. There was a numbness spiritually. I watched a few testimonies and feeling started coming back to my soul as I started to cry (I normally do when watching these) I then had an idea. I always heard of people opening to the exact page of the bible that addresses their problems. I was a bit skeptical but I opened it and it opened to a creased page. It was Romans 8:28-39 It speaks of how nothing can separate us from his love. I know we shouldn't test God, but he sure shut me up lol

What you went through is normal. When I first became saved on the very same day I was saved I no longer felt his presence it scared me. But something you will notice is that there will be times when you can fell him and when you can't, it is in the times you cannot feel him that you sould seek him out all the more however you can.Everyone has different ways of connecting to him and seeking him out, for me I like to go on walks and talk with him.

God's favorite game is hide and seek, he will sometimes hide his presence so you might seek him out

You experienced a fiery dart from the enemy. Resist him and he will flee. How do we resist? By renewing our minds with his word. And also by focusing on good ie phil 4:8 When Im in that kind of place I have learned over the years to speak out the truth who I am in Christ. I am the light of the world. I am the salt of the earth. I am a living Stone. I am heir to the thrown. But first I rebuke the prince of lies in Jesus name. Here is a link of all the scripture to ponder on. Rejoice! You are a new creation and God loves you!! Blessings

Yeah, I have mild autism and it effects my thoughts mostly. I question everything. At first after watching all the testimonies I thought it was odd that I didn't feel God's presence like all these people did. But it turns out I did. I just didn't notice until it was gone lol

I think a fiery dart from the enemy is a bit much, what he experienced is something every new believer goes through. But I like the rest of your post:)

As you grow closer to him you will find that things like autism won't be able to keep you from growing strong in him, it is good to seek him and it is wonderful to be in his presence and the more time you spend with him you will notice that you no longer need to (feel) his presence you know in your heart he is near.

You are entitled to your opinion which is obviously coming from someone who doesnt know a whole lot about spiritual warfare! That is what the fiery dart is . The minute a person is drawn in to the kingdom and he/she accepts that gift;he/she is an enemy of satan. He is NOT a respecter of persons just as God isnt. Satan plants DOUBT. That is a fiery dart

Good, now that you know "And we know," you no longer need to have a feeling to decide if God is really there.

Hebrews 11:1 says "faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

we shouldn't be worried about not "feeling" God at any time -- that's what faith is about; trusting and believing Him without anything else, including feelings or signs, acting like a 'crutch.' no lack of feeling can separate us :) amen!

i think it might be, that He causes us all to go through these periods where we don't "sense" His presence around us, to exercise & strengthen our trust and faith in Him. He said the apostle was blessed because he saw, and believed, and that "
blessed are those who have not seen, and yet believe" -- and in a larger scale, He's now gone away for a time, to return again and gather up the faithful. having these times where we miss Him in our lives is a smaller-scale version of that, right?
so we should keep trusting and believing - it builds us up, and helps us grow that much more in love when we do 'sense' Him with us. we know & believe all things work together for our good in Him - even when that's not clear right away. even this, even this.

I know of spiritual warfare all to well, I have been attacked by demons actual demons face to face I have encountered satan several times and even was trying to strangle me i have experienced times when i was shaking in fear from what I saw. Never assume you know a persons heart or what they have been through

whether she believes me or not is not of importance to me, the main thing is that we should never assume we know ppls hearts and what they have or haven't been through. besides it's not like I can take credit for anything I had to have Jesus save me every time, on the up side i know from experience the power his name has

In the first place, you didnt have an encounter with satan himself. That was a demonic attack! Dont think so highly of yourself. There is a hierarchy of demons and satan isnt coming after a small fry such as yourself. He sent someone or you had a mental delusion. But, the fact that you claim that happened to you, it by no means makes you an expert or scholar of spiritual warfare who comes in to tell me that what I said was a "bit much". Smh.....
In the second place, if I am assuming to know a persons heart than that has to be true for you as well. You are talking foolishness. You need to learn when to speak and when to keep your mouth shut! You could have done well leaving off the "bit much" part. It is merely your opinion and it was hateful and uncalled for. You are young and you have alot to learn with your communication skills. I was trying to help the guy and your snide remark was based on ignorance. Satan plants doubt! Period! THAT IS SPIRITUAL WARFARE. Im done having this foolish exchange with you. Facepalm................

Well you see that the ignorance here towards the unseen is on a high level here. These christians like the one arguing here i just wish that the devil himself would stand infront of them so they know who theyre dealing with.
