What you went through is normal. When I first became saved on the very same day I was saved I no longer felt his presence it scared me. But something you will notice is that there will be times when you can fell him and when you can't, it is in the times you cannot feel him that you sould seek him out all the more however you can.Everyone has different ways of connecting to him and seeking him out, for me I like to go on walks and talk with him.
God's favorite game is hide and seek, he will sometimes hide his presence so you might seek him out
Blain, may God continue to bless you more and more, young lady, so you can continue to bless and help us!
Monnkai, here is something interesting.
Jesus is the true Bread from heaven and the Holy Spirit is our Water.
When our Bread and Water are removed (I am speaking of the Spirit of the matter, not human and physical fasting), this is the true Fast, which God Himself puts us on. The human fast is a picture of this that God does in us. So we become very hungry and thirsty.
A picture of this True Fast can be seen in the Exodus account. It says, God let them become very hungry in the desert TO SEE WHAT THEY WOULD DO.
So why does God remove our Bread and Water and cause us to not sense His Presence for some period of time?
TO SEE WHAT WE WILL DO.
It's a test for us and our faith, just as He was testing Israel.
Do we grumble and complain as they did that God had abandoned them?
No, because we know His promise to never abandon us and we believe Him.
We don't complain. We go LOOKING for Him!
