Why is the Zodiac so accurate?

. And while followers of Krishna have borrowed from the one true faith and tried to make it their own, that doesn't mean they're walking in Truth.

krishna followers are ripe for the picking though. They acknowledge Jesus is the Son of God and that he is who he says he is. However, they generally tend to seperate themselves from us. They will listen to you and you can steer them out of the nonsense rituals they do (like the chanting and such things) but only if you are representing Christ well. They will accept what you have to say way more readily than any member of any other religion will but if they see you doing anything sinful they will immediately quit listening.

Their entire gripe with Christianity is that Christ's followers generally do not do what Christ commanded them to do. Unfortunately I have to agree with them to an extent (I include myself in this, I slip up and sin way more often than I should...to my shame). If you ever run into one of them try talking to them about God and Christ. You will have more luck with them than talking to a jew or a muslim for sure. Yes they have their nonsense and untruthful ways, but they are ripe for harvest more often than not.

The zodiac and such things are not astronomy. Astronomy is a scientific practice. The zodiac and similar methodologies is astrology. Astrology by definition is a method of divination via using the position of stars and planets. Divination is not a good thing regardless of the medium used.

Back in the day people used to disembowel an animal (humans too in some circles) and read the guts and entrails as a method of divination. Some people used runes, tarot cards, consulted with familiar spirits, etc. Divination is practiced in a multitude of ways. The medium used to do it doesn't make it any less an engagement in divination. During the last days there will be signs in the heavens and the moon and sun, that doesn't somehow give a greenlight for Christians to engage in divination however.

its frustrating to me. today it seems like anything that is slightly mystic is forbidden. in the days of Jesus they turned water to wine, blind people got sight, Jesus walked on water, Peter also walked on water. Jesus said we could move mountains.
i look around today and i see nothing like this. it just seems like something is missing.

Not the same thing as this from Genesis 1:14

"14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years,"

The people on the earth immediately after the tribulation when the sun is darkened and the moon quits giving off light....those who recognize this for what it is will not be engaging in astrology. There is a distinction between a sign given and the practice of divining information by stargazing. Only the practice of divination need be frowned upon, nothing else regarding star gazing.

Why would you say throwing lots would be divination? Drawing straws for who gets the last cookie for example, its just an impersonal way of deciding who gets something.
