do you have a passage where our Lord says this?
yes i get that there are passages where divination is condemned. but it never says anything and everything dealing with astronomy is evil.
the wise men followed a sign, the Lord stopped the sun for Joshua. these things are in the bible. the church telling people to stay away is just trying to keep people under church control rather than letting people have a relationship with the Lord.

The point is that in astrology, the stars and planets have influence over events, which is not biblical. Not to be confused with astronomy which is the study of the universe without the mumbo jumbo. When God created the universe he made it like a precision watch that simply keeps time and doesn't have an affect other than to give us clue as to what time it is. Lol
Signs, that seen are designed for the rebellious. Signs as that seen, and wonders ,the faith principle work together as prophecy, for the believer.

A clear distinction must be made if we are to hear God aright.
Looking to the stars is a form of divination. There are times when all of the characteristics of the zodiac can fit the personally of one person .A person would have to get twelve tattoos to cover our crazyness of a deceitful heart, as in who can know it?

The stars are the Gospel written in the sky. Satan has counterfeited it with astrology.
Psalm 19~~1The heavens are telling of the glory of God;

The brightest star in the constellation is called Spica, a Latin word meaning “the branch.” There are three smaller constellations or decans to each major constellation, The three (divinity) for Virgo are:
Coma: The word Coma means “the desired,” and represents the desired one, the desire of all nations the Messiah.
Boötes: Boötes means, “the Coming One.” Another name for the Constellation was taken from a star in the left knee of the Shepherd. It was called Arcturus, which also means, He that will come.
Centaurus
The name Centaurus means two natures. The Seed of the woman was “virgin born,” he was not of the seed of man. His two natures pure humanity and pure deity. He is God in human flesh and, therefore, can rightly be called Immanuel, which means God with us. Virgo and her attending constellations represent the beginning of an epic story to rescue the human race.

It is not obvious to everyone though, there might be all kinds of people reading in the background who are curious and looking for satisfactory answers to their questions. The main reason I joined this site was to talk to individuals and to see what others say of the Bible or how they interpret it. 1 John 4:1 do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

The zodiac and such things are not astronomy. Astronomy is a scientific practice. The zodiac and similar methodologies is astrology. Astrology by definition is a method of divination via using the position of stars and planets. Divination is not a good thing regardless of the medium used.
Back in the day people used to disembowel an animal (humans too in some circles) and read the guts and entrails as a method of divination. Some people used runes, tarot cards, consulted with familiar spirits, etc. Divination is practiced in a multitude of ways. The medium used to do it doesn't make it any less an engagement in divination. During the last days there will be signs in the heavens and the moon and sun, that doesn't somehow give a greenlight for Christians to engage in divination however.
