Yes...it is called the New Covenant - in Jesus' blood that was shed for our sins. It is all about Christ and His righteousness.
When we believe the real gospel of the grace of Christ - we do not need to "maintain" our own righteousness and thus pervert the gospel of Christ.

Yes..."Christ alone" is a thorn in the side of the D.I.Y. self-righteousness/holiness mindsets. It is really an anti-Christ belief and it is denying the Lord and Master of us all to NOT put your trust in Christ alone for salvation.

The rock that the wise man builds on is true righteousness found in Jesus Christ alone. The sand that the foolish man builds on is self-righteousness. Only those who truly believe in Jesus (Matthew 7:21; John 6:40) are wise and hear the words of Jesus and properly act on them. The foolish man twists the words of Jesus and acts on their own self-righteous works system and calls that acting on the words of Jesus.
The rock is the wisdom and knowledge that the words are founded upon. It is the solid emotions and consistency of an open truthful loving heart.
The sand is the sinful confused heart that is always changes and going with the next impulse or idea. It has no consistency or power.
It is why so many lives just unravel with problems arise and hard times happen. You see it everywhere is divorce, people living alone and empty, nervous breakdowns etc

Not if you understand what grace, faith and Christ does in a person's life.
Our justification is found in Christ work on the cross.
Our sanctification is by grace of God through the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Our faith is a gift from God, we each have a different measure.
All is through God's power and not our own, so no one has grounds to boast.
So in a way it is saying, in God alone I put my trust.

You need to get over the hurdle of self-righteousness and believing in Christ's righteousness before you can even begin to see the kingdom of God. Believing in the finished work of Christ for us is to "properly act on them".

I wonder how that squares with all the time I have on the mission field and the tens of thousands that have heard the Gospel through these efforts, many of them having heard the Gospel through one-to-one interactions.
Considering that I apparently believe the "anti-doing gospel" what could possibly have been my motivation?
Apparently I should have been sitting on my backside polishing my halo.
Abraham, the so-called father of faith, saved himself by obeying (doing) GOD's command of circumcision. If he had not done so, there would have been no covenant of circumcision, subsequently no covenant of law and then no new covenant by which he is saved.

No Abraham was saved by faith in the Messiah promise to Adam and Eve in Genesis 3 and repeated here:

It says Seed not seeds of Abraham was the promise given, who is Jesus.
That's true, but apart from the new covenant, Jesus saves no one. Abraham looked ahead to it through faith, as all righteous men before it did.
