lol

See what this mad does. Pick and chose what parts to respond, and ignore the rest.

Of course, when you have nothing else to say, thats usually what happens.

Interacting with these types only will bring defilement. You know the purpose of the "baiting".....just ignore it. All is well!...:)

Remember Rom 16:17 and 1 Cor. 15:33....if not heeded all of us have the potential to end up in a Hebrews 12:15 situation. This will cause all kinds of sicknesses to manifest in us - from physical to mental.

Yes, why do you do that? Momma says MAD is as MAD does. LOL :)

see, Now he attacks typos. And I guess this makes him funny?

for someone who claims to have me on ignore. He sure does respond alot.. did he not just attack someone who said they had him on ignore?

Again, the do as I say not as I do mentality of some people.

this is the type of mentality comes from having a " I am sinless " mindset. isit has stated recently that he does not willfully and/ or daily sin. so, therefore , in his mind, that gives him a morally superior high ground to shout down at us " sinners ".

amazing what a person can allow themselves believe, ain't it?

False hyper grace teacher Joseph Prince says this....

Quote #19 “Did Jesus die on the cross to free us from committing sinful actions or harboring sinful thoughts?
If He did, then allow me to conclude with reverence that He failed." Chapter 5, pages 58-59

But Jesus said this....John 8:36 "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."

Did Jesus fail as Joseph Prince says, or perhaps Joseph Prince does not truly know and believe in the power of God to actually set one free from sin and sinful thoughts?

Jesus did die on the cross to cause us to cease committing sinful acts, and having sinful thoughts, and His blood to wash away all our sins, and start fresh not wanting sin by the Holy Spirit, and if we do sin, repent, and not want sin anymore.

In Isaiah chapter 59 God tells the Jews that it is their sins that separate them from God.

Jesus preached repent, and turn from sin,not wanting it.

God commands all people to repent of their sins, and turn from sins, not wanting sins anymore.

The Bible says love does not think an evil thought, and does not rejoice in iniquity,so love will not sin.

A Spirit led life will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

A Spirit led life will show the characteristics of Christ, and not of the flesh.

Jesus died on the cross,so our sins could be completely washed away, and by our giving up all sin,not wanting sin, knowing that it causes us to not be right with God,we can be led of the Spirit, which a Spirit led life will act like Christ, and not act according to the flesh,in which then they will have a right relationship with God.

It is our sins that separate us from God,whether Old or New Testament, but in the Old they did not have the power to completely accomplish this, not having the Spirit, for the blood of animals could not completely wash away their sins to be able to receive the Spirit, but in the New,Jesus came and shed His blood to wash our sins away completely, allowing us to have the Spirit so we would have the power to be like Christ, and abstain from the lusts of the flesh, and then be right with God.

Jesus came so we could have the Spirit to cease from sin that separates us from God,for sin separates us from God whether Old or New Testament, and the blood of Christ accomplishes that by completely removing our sins,so we start fresh with no sin on our record, and if we are serious, and sincere, that we do not want sin in our life anymore, the Spirit will cause us to accomplish that if we allow the Spirit to lead us,for it is not the flesh having its way,but the Spirit.

The purpose of Jesus is to cause us to have the Spirit,so we could abstain from the flesh that is sinful, for sins separate us from God.

Isa 59:1 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

But in the New,Jesus causes us to abstain from sin that separates us from God,by the Spirit, for it is all about giving up sin,for sin separates us from God,and what Jesus did on the cross does not take away the fact that we have to abstain from sin,but He caused us to have the Spirit,so we can abstain from sin.

I don't know who this Joseph Prince guy is but it's unfortunate that even people with the title of "teacher" lacks knowledge of Gods word. To even suggest what Jesus has done was a failure shows a lack of wisdom or he is deliberately trying to deceive his followers.

Since we KNOW the op sins EVERY day, as well as the rest of us,

isit has stated recently that he does not willfully and/ or daily sin.

Come on guys, if you are going to bear false witness against me at least get your false accusations in line with one another. How can you be a convincing false witness if yuz 2'z guz false testimony does not agree with one another. It's bad enough you never provide any proof of such false statements, but at least try to align your false testimony up with one another before hand, or else you will not be a very convincing false witness. :)

What the self-proclaimed heretic hunters do is take a quote out of the context it was given to make it "appear" to be saying on it's own when you look at the quote just on it's face value.

They are like the Pharisees that accused Jesus of being a drunkard and of defiling the temple. They are merely exhibiting their ungodly behavior by appearing to be so pious but they are full of malice and slander.

What these heretic hunters do is make a "straw-man" up of something taken out of context - then present it in a way to "show" the craziness of what is said. - but in reality - it is a "construct" of their own minds that "twisted" was said when you look at the rest of what someone said - before the quote and after the quote.

In order to see what someone is saying about something - the quote needs to be viewed in the context it was given.

Look at this short video and tell us what he is really saying about sin NOT having dominion over us believers.

Mark 14:56
For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.

Mark 14:59
But neither so did their witness agree together.

Funny how things repeat. :)

Would you rather have this "verbatim" word read to you, or a pastor's explanation of it?

"....your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over thee. "(Genesis 3:16b ACP/KJV)

Oh! Me, me, me! Pick me!

The context is AFTER the fall! The consequences of sin! So are born again believers supposed to live by the rules of the Fall, or the way the Holy Spirit leads us, since Jesus death and resurrection?

So much more, if you want to get into the Hebrew! LOL

Someone says - "We know" that they sin every day but "they say" ( the one that does sin in some form daily but does not admit it ) that they don't sin.

That is not the same people saying the same thing.

It is just one person saying the opposite of what the other one
claims they do.

They are just exposing what the other one "claims" they don't do.

OK, I forgot I had bowed out of this thread! I actually kind of forgot I had read it at all! Back to the drawing board with those memory issues.

You know he never said anything of the sort, and it is kind of shameful for you to be trying to suggest that. His entire point was that Jesus never came for the purpose of turning us all into sinless robots, but rather that he came to save us from the eternal consequence of the sin that would still be here in the world, tempting us and influencing our actions till the day we die.

From what I have seen you call those of us who believe in the freedom of his grace hypergracers and you attack this man and point your finger at him and all who you think follow him. You see a hyper gracer I see a person who rests in the freedom of God's while knowing his grace is not a free ticket to sin.

a word of advice my friend, before you point the finger to others I would consider first pointing your finger to yourself. This thread is one with bad intentions and was made to attack not edify or build the church. Explain to me how your ranting is going to help build the babes in Christ? explain to me how your accusational posts are going to show the heart of God? explain to me how your thread is going to help further the kingdom of God.

Everyday people visit this forum lost souls saved souls or just curious souls some who want to see who and what a Christian really is and threads like this only show we are judgmental unkind mockers who do nothing but attack and argue with each other, it's threads like this that I don't wonder why we Christians are not seen as love or what Jesus taught us to be as Christians it's no wonder the world sees us as it does

I just read an old thread in which that very topic was being talked about and you said something about the greek, I think, as regards Pauls statement on women keeping silent. But you said you wouldn't get into it again. I've never seen your study on these verses Angela and if you can find time to post it, I would be very eager to read it!

sadly when all your doing is looking for something to attack, You are blinded and look for little points which you think you can bash..

Been going on by certain people in CC for quite a few months now.

oh, no, i'm quite certain she didn't mean that! if you read her post again, i feel sure you'll see she was actually more supporting than anything else.

really, i thought it was quite a fair assessment, and if anything sagaciously brought out the fact ISIT had provided us with precious little context with which to make any kind of judgment at all.

how about that, OP? a bit more context, please?

See, Demi? This is why just opening the book, and doing a simple, literal reading of what might be found in the book you pick up may not convey the same sense of things you would hear from someone who has studied a bit deeper into those flat words.

God "gave some to be teachers" for a reason.

.

This is a prime example of how others can get defiled by this type of malicious thread.

Now this brother here if he was so inclined - could go out and post everywhere what he believed is true in this OP but when we look at what was really being said - he would be spreading slander around - all because of this slanderous thread.

( I am NOT saying he is doing that - this is just an example of the potential harm and damage that this type of thread creates
if left un-challenged)

Does anyone have chapter 5 of whatever book is being quoted from in the op so that we could read for ourselves the entire context of what the man is saying?
