A small observation

What I am sharing has to be some powerful stuff, because the analogies of what I am being
put alongside is mind blowing. I am sharing, be honest, be open, obey love and walk in the
Holy Spirit.

If this is heresy, who are these believers? And I am not saying I walk without criticism or
the ability to improve, or disappointments, I just walk in love. Is this a crime and a sin, something
worthy of rejection, castigation, pouring slander and abuse on, discouraging and attacking in the
strongest terms? If so you are just crucifying Christ and all He stood for, which is a denial of your
claim to faith.

Remember what you write is not against me or my walk but the concepts I am writing about.
You will probably never know me, or be able to see how I walk and live my life, only how I use
english or not, to share with. So please my friends be careful, and just listen to the Holy Spirit
within you. You are of great value, and we need to walk after our Lord in His ways.

This is what defines us. God bless you, Halleluyah, our God reigns, through Christ His son who
came to save us from sin and death. Amen.

He is trying to establish that he is:
Magenta - I do not need to establish being loving, humble pure and holy, God has made me
like this. Has not God also made you like this as you walk with Him?

This is a typical example of the problem we have in our perception of being born again and our
walk.

Most people I know are excessively humble and self depricating. I know some very talented people
who have been crushed by life, and devalue all they contribute. It is a privilege to know them, and
to offer my praise, thanks and support to help them see the blessing they really are.

We often do not give people time or space, just to be, and share and know they are valued.
Education sometimes robs people of their value, because it says unless you are powerful, recognised
you do not matter. Jesus says the opposite. You matter to the creator, He will come and talk with
you. What a King and Lord we have. The King came to my house today, and says He will come
everyday I am alive. Great glory to this King who saved us.

And because He came, He made me Holy. Thankyou Jesus.

Does God come to your house, and has His presence made it Holy? God does not devalue you,
He has said you are worthy of His time and energy, to believe and trust Him, my friends, my brothers
and sisters.

A thankyou.

Thankyou for either being completely, this is good share on, or this is heresy.
No wishy washy, it does not matter.

No matter what people share, being able to express how it strikes you is always
the first step towards revelation.

For all those who say, everything should be Jesus, please read the letter Paul wrote.
Most of them are thanks for the fellowship and following of Jesus of the believers he
is writing to and instructions about how they should behave and what they should do.

50% of Ephesians are instructions on how to live chapters 4,5,6

Most of Jesus's teachings are on how we should behave, and different parables on
where we are in the kingdom and the consequences based on what we do and how
we react.

So my friends following their example 50% at least of our sharing should be about
encouraging each other to do good things, to walk in love, bringing praise and
worship to the King. So obvious is this, it is a wonder how preachers have got
away with this it is selfish and wrong to talk about our walk on earth when
the bible is full of it.

And those who share this so forcefully, equally are ignorant of scripture and
where they are coming from. But probably they do not care, which would be
no surprise to me, because spiritual realities show themselves when challenged
by Gods word.

In heaven it will no longer be an issue.

Here I wish folks found the word of God as appealing. So good as to lack sufficient superlatives to describe each succulent letter of each word.

For the cause of Christ
Roger
"A PRAYER TIP"

By: Charles Spurgeon

I like to open the Bible and pray, "Lord God, let the words leap off the page into my soul; make them vivid, powerful, and fresh to my heart."

"How are we to handle this sword of 'It is written'? First, with deepest reverence. Let every word that God has spoken be law and gospel to you. Never trifle with it; never try to evade its force or change its meaning. God speaks to you in this book as much as if he came to the top of Sinai and lifted up his voice with thunder.

I like to open the Bible and pray, 'Lord God, let the words leap off the page into my soul; make them vivid, powerful, and fresh to my heart.'

Our Lord Himself felt the power of the Word. It was not so much the devil who felt the power of 'It is written" as Christ Himself. The manhood of Christ felt an awe of the Word of God, and so the Word became a power to Christ. To trifle with Scripture is to deprive yourself of its aid. Reverence it, and look up to God with devout gratitude for having given it to you.

and meanwhile, some want to take up a false moral high ground, act like and think that they do not sin, talk down and shout down judgement on others, like they have all the answers.

they ( you ) do not understand simple Biblical truths - like this - justification and sanctification are , while they can occur at the time of conversion, i.e., a 20 year smoker never smokes again, they in most cases do not. sanctification is usually a process.

which is why we should not judge. not you, not me, not anyone. God can 100% judge fairly because he knows all. you do not.
Above is a series of straw men.
1. A superior attitude is taken
2. People are talked down to
3. Perfection is assumed
4. Biblical ignorance is present
5. Judgmentalism is happening

None of these things are true. But so vulnerable people are feeling, the best defence
is to make an offensive strike.

My friends we are no different in the challenges and issues we face. All we are sharing is
God gives us power to overcome and be victorious.

Would it be better if we said there is no overcoming or victory? Because this is what it sounds
like people believe is true and want to be preached. I do not know the areas of defeat and
conflict that have occurred, but I do know God does bring love and victory. But have you the
faith to reach out and believe Him?

What in the world.
What are you referring to?

I am referring to those who criticise others for sharing about their experiences in faith,
in the Lord working through people and what He expects of us in the Kingdom.

I see that a certain person has been posting here ( I have the person on ignore ). the main reason I placed this person on ignore, and I wanted to share with you new or maybe not here that much members- is this:

peterjens does not recognize the Biblical definitions of sin, these are missing the mark, falling short of a standard, knowing to do good and not doing so. feel free to look that up if anyone wants to.

it is very easy to declare yourself sinless when YOU define what sin is and not use the Biblical version.

I will share something about when I was 17 going to an open brethren fellowship.
A group in the church had stood up in the service in the morning and shared about
the baptism of the Holy Spirit and how this changed everything for them.

My first reaction was this was not of God and heretical. I then thought, if this was
God I should not say anything against it, but investigate and test it out.

It later transpired that the Lord had truly touched this group, back in 1977, and
they were right, people did need more of the Holy Spirit. How it worked out was not
so good.

Unless we are in heaven itself, the Lord will always send new things through different
people to encourage and help us grow. If we are alive, we will demonstrate this
through our reactions, but if we really are dead, it will come with a, so what, which is
always like a wet blanket, lol. And those who shout loudest are normally those in most
need who need whatever is being shared more than anyone, which is always ironic. :)

The following tells me all I need to know about his view...and God would not lead a saved man to say such things.....

The cross is not enough

The imputed righteousness of Christ is a neat little trick that does not work and he compares it to JESUS SPRAY

We put to much emphasis upon JESUS and not enough on ourselves

Faith into the security found in Christ is an idol

gb9 - God bless you. Please can you demonstrate where I have denied what you are claiming
I deny. If you cannot, this is just bearing false witness and attempting to slander someone.

I have never said I am sinless, never to have sinned. I have said, and I will say here, I do not
know if I will sin in the future or when, but I trust God and His provision for me in His grace.

It would be presumptious and be disbelief to say I will sin, because Jesus says in fellowship
with Him we walk in Holiness and love.

Now if gb9 said this is what I say, I would say amen, but he is not, because he wants this
message to fail, for his own reasons, but probably because he disbelieves this is possible
and what the gospel of Jesus offers us.

There is real hatred, anger and hurt here, because these long term church goers bought into
the optimism of the walk but lived most of their lives in hypocracy and legalism.

So I forgive gb9 for his antagonism, it is well earnt, but this does not deny the promise of
the cross. I personally have never been interested in religion or hypocracy, I desire truth
honesty, openness and the Holy Spirit in power working through us. Amen.

We are saved because we walk with Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.

It strikes me each day as you repeat my points they are like arrows you hate
but each day they dig deeper into the hypocracy of a sinful walk.

The cross brought love to our hearts, if love does not dwell there then the cross
means nothing to us. Do you know the DC?

When you see the cross, do your knees buckle and you head bow to the King of Kings,
or do you stride forward in arrogance assuming you are justified to enter heaven with
the pass key, no matter how you have behaved today and the state of your heart.

Too many deluded believers have preached and believed this, to find themselves washed
into the pit, because they believed in the shell and not the heart of Christ.

Please tell me where in the world do the word's "Jesus Spray" come from. Have I lived a sheltered life or; are these word's that PeterJen's has just made up in his mind. If this is a common phrase please tell me; who on earth would even dare mention the Son of God in such terms, just sayin'

The imputed righteousness of Christ is a neat little trick that does not work and he compares it to JESUS SPRAY
There is a totally legalistic faith which was like a boat going down a river and spraying
paint on the waters surface so the junk underneath could not be seen. It meant their
society could literally rot but it was evil to talk about its reality.

Jesus spray is you are safe, no matter how much sin and failure you are in, because Jesus
spray means the Father cannot see it and you will never be judged for it, even though you
have no desire to stop, repent or get right about the issue, or even perceive there is an
issue at all.

I hate this concept so deeply because it comes from the pit and says Gods people are total
hypocrites and have no problem living as hypocrites and denying the destruction sin without
Gods judgement brings on all who touch it.

Some believers think sin is only evil because God judges it as such, and not because innately
it destroys the very things it is applied to, so they are useless. The pit has always been to
destroy that which can never be resolved or sorted out, and finally as punishment for
those who thought it was acceptable to behave like this.

So Jesus spray will never cover sin or hide it. Jesus washes away repented and resolved sin,
as if it never existed, because the believer is now a changed person.

In my opinion, people worship the cross too much. They should instead be worshipping the One who died upon it... "Look to the cross." "Hold tight to the cross".. NOOOO... Look to JESUS. Hold tight to Jesus. The cross is just two big planks of wood fashioned together. It isn't an idol, or shouldn't be, anyway. Trust in God's love, not in a wooden cross with no power to take away sins, love people or give salvation to those who seek it. GOD has the power, the cross does not. JMO :)
