It also doesn't change faith without works is dead!! You keep ignoring that. Works validates a saving faith. As James said, "I'll show you my faith by my works." The two are bound together.
I ignore nothing but you salvation based on works......and the creed of men you elevate above God's word!

uhhh when did he ignore that an already saved born again believer will have works?

but a reminder to you endo

it is not by our works we are saved

it is the work of Christ
Amen brother....his religion interjects MUST HAVE......while being ignorant of the fact one is already saved eternally by faith before producing one micro gram of work or fruit! Must be the creed his religion elevates above the very word of God!

Good morning decon, how do you explain to a person like, Endoscopy, that real Christians will have real fruit/works but that the works do not save you. Works/fruit are evidence "after salvation" Endoscopy cannot separate God's salvation from Works, why is that? A tree does not produce fruit for sometime many years, but the tree is not dead. How dense can an intelligent person be?
Afternoon TT, 430 P.M. Tuesday in AU.....Well, when one elevates a man made creed above the bible anything is possible!

If you were a "real Christian" you would not use words like 'how dense can an intelligent person be'.
Was Jesus a "real Christian" or Paul, Elijah or John the Baptist?

White washed coffins filled with the bones of dead men
Hypocrites
Snakes and vipers
Blind leaders of the blind

Real Christians have no problem using sarcsm, particular names and even whips if necessary....Maybe your pseudo religion keeps you from being a "real Christian"

If you were a real Christian you would not say "I am not a real Christian", go take out the log in your eye first. And I never said he was not a Christian, your way out of line.
Amen and I agree...10 to 1 his life is full of sin.....Like the Pharisees of old..their fingers love to point out others sin......or in this case just lip flappin!

It is about losing salvation.

If your faith is never revealed by doing good works, it is dead. If your faith is never revealed, and remains dead until you are dead, you will not have salvation.
Real belivers do not or cannot lose salvation....I suggest you trust Jesus by faith....he gives eternal life....not some fake tempory religious life that can be lost like a penny in the dirt!

Is this true DC?

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Romans 2:12, “For as many as have sinned without the Law, will also perish without the Law, and as many as have sinned in the Law, will be judged by the Law.”[/FONT]

No, I am a faith, accompanied by many good works of faith will save you person.

You refuse to learn, don't you?

Romans 3:27 (NCV)
[SUP]27 [/SUP] So do we have a reason to brag about ourselves? No!

And why not? It is the way of faith that stops all bragging, not the way of trying to obey the law.

Titus 3:4-7 (HCSB)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] But when the goodness of God and His love for mankind appeared,
[SUP]5 [/SUP] He saved us not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] He poured out this ⌊Spirit⌋ on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
[SUP]7 [/SUP] so that having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.

Ephesians 2:8-10 (NCV)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] I mean that you have been saved by grace through believing. You did not save yourselves; it was a gift from God.
[SUP]9 [/SUP] It was not the result of your own efforts, so you cannot brag about it.

{So that after HE SAVED US, [FONT=&quot]✞[/FONT], the fruit we produce will be this }
[SUP]10 [/SUP] God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us to do good works, which God planned in advance for us to live our lives doing.

IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SALVATION, SO STOP BRAGGING ABOUT IT. IT IS JESUS CHRIST IN US CARRYING OUT THE FATHERS PLAN. DO YOU REALIZE THAT? Or are you, Instead of SITTING IN AWE of what HE is doing in your life, you are apparently sitting bragging that GOD HAS TO SAVE ME, because LOOK WHAT I DID.

Galatians 2:20 (HCSB)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Does that verse mean something to you?

Or are you too busy trying to EARN PART OF YOUR SALVATION?

James only required one work to show a faith was not dead, . why do you require many? and God required non, Only faith. to be saved (see romans 4)

non-obedient faith is called "dead" and "not able to save":

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]James 2:26, "For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so belief without works is dead also."[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]James 2:14, “My brothers, what use is it for anyone to say he has belief but does not have works? This belief is unable to save him.”

I wonder if "unable to save" means not saved or saved?

Question:
Do you believe you can loose your eternal salvation?

A "yes or no" answer is fine.
According to your calculations about how to be saved, no.

According to my calculations about how to be saved, yes. If you commit to Christ in 2018, then reject Christ in 2025, he will reject you and your salvation is lost. My calculation includes a provision for enduring to the end. Yours does not.

Hi E-gratefull, good question, if works are required for salvation (they are not), then how many works will keep me saved? Most people who believe you are saved by grace plus your wonderful works will also believe that you can loose your eternal salvation. I did ask benhur if he believed he can loose his salvation but with no reply. The notion that our eternal salvation is contingent on our works, will support their belief that you can "loose your eternal salvation."

So what is the 'one' work that James required?

Because in James 2:17 he uses the plural word 'works'.
Because in James 2:18 he uses the plural word 'works'.
Because in James 2:20 he uses the plural word 'works'.

Seems like my use of the term 'many good works' is appropriate.

Jesus (God) required that we forgive all men their trespasses against us. That is 1 of X requirements.

Hi benhur, thank you for your honesty, most people will not admit that their eternal salvation can be lost. I will endure to the end also, so your assumption is wrong. It is "God who is able to keep me", not my plentiful good works.

Jude1:24
Now to "Him who is able to keep you" from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy,
