1 Corinthians 6
18Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sine a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. 19Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
if we commit even the least of all sin, we are guilty of the whole law.

All sin sin is the same in Gods eye, a liar is just as guilty as a murderer, bearing false witness makes one just as guilty as rape and murder, it is hard for us in the flesh to see this, but God said it is true

it S slander when they share what they think hyper grace believes, and are told over and over again that it is not true, at least in the case if myself and grace777.

To say it is ok because they call us hpergrace just because they think it is heresy and no excuse for sin, when they have been told over and over we do not believe the things they claim
Reformed folks have the same problem with folks telling them they believe things they don't believe.

The only solution is for you both to just clearly state the gospel as much as God has revealed to,you and leave it at that.
.You aren't going to convince the other person they are wrong.
.only God can do that.

So state your beliefs and pray and let God do the rest.
.why yell slander and start a mud slinging match?

Amazing! One "can see" the works of the flesh in others, yet cannot see the works of the flesh in the covetous and idolatrous false gospel of the WoF movement so he endorses it and all the heretics who preach that covetous false gospel.

By the way, that covetous false gospel is wrecking havoc on Africans and others abroad, and he supports it and many of you applaud him for doing so.

Yeah move past the old testament keeping of the law and God's teaching of godliness and holiness...otherwise we will just be talking past one another.

We must realize that for every person that is a member here in CC - there are 10 "guests" visiting and reading these forums. I post things that I think will benefit these people.

I don't for a second believe that all posts are for everyone - especially for those that violently oppose certain beliefs about the gospel of the grace of God in Christ.

Perhaps most of these posts are not for you Ariel - perhaps some are and some aren't. That is between you and the Lord.

Whenever anyone holds a knife to the throat of one of our "sacred cows" taught to us in our church teachings and traditions - the fur is going to fly.

I understand that as I too had the very same thing happen to me when I first starting seeing the Lord's wonderful work on the cross and resurrection.

It's when people start with the deceitfulness and mis-representing what is really being said even though you have explained it over 20x times. It is ok to agree to disagree too on some areas. That is healthy as we all need each other.

But when they start to attack others with the slander and name-calling - it's time to treat them as Paul said in Rom. 16:17 and 1 Cor. 5:11 The it's time to avoid them as no good can come from any further interaction with them.

That is no excuse to continue to slander people Ariel, come on, stop xcusimg their sin.

If I am telling a reformed person they believe something and they can prove they do not, and I continue, I am in sin, and you and everyone else better confront me, and chasten me until I stop.

That goes for anyone

disagreeing with a doctrine is one thing, outright bearing false witness is sin, and there is no excuse. It is sin, no matter how far people want to twist it and say it is not

Jesus told us we will know His, by the fruits they exhibit. We are NOT talking about Bhuddists or any body else. We are talking about a man who thousands of times has expressed the one true Gospel unto Salvation. He believes and has stated WHO Jesus is, WHAT He has done, and the reason he needs Jesus.

Now I ask again. WHO exhibits the fruits of the Spirit on these boards. Bruce, or those who continuously malign him?

And WHY are you having a problem Discerning this?
Because I have seen him defend WOF preachers and I seriously question anyone who doesn't see past their lies.

If you ask me who displays the fruit of the Spirit?

.I would say both and neither.

It depends on the day and who they are talking to.

I have seen love and gentleness from all folks and that is when I see Christ light shining from each person.

I have also seen fighting and back biting and folks listening to lies instead of walking in God's light.

Truthfully it's past sunset and everyone needs to give it to God.

Exactly..confront..state what you believe..then avoid them.

If they stalk you from thread to thread, report them.

However If they are just commenting on your doctrine which they believe is false, then let them.

God will reveal his truth.

Yes I was one of those guests looking to get out of the gospel of works (working to maintain my salvation) and your posts help me see the gospel of grace!!

Absolutely true

Here is the offensive horrible hyper grace message again for any guest out there....

The Bible says, the grace of God teaches you how to deny ungodliness.

Religion says, “Try harder.” Grace says, “Rest in the work of Christ and be changed

I agree....and it is also "ok" to agree to disagree on some things too. I have some that we have differing views on things but there is no stalking each other and name-calling and mis-representing what we are really saying. We just go on encouraging ach other in our walk with the Lord.

Then there are the types that attack with slander and malice continuously no matter what you say. Theses types I have stopped interacting with and just let them have their venom of hate. No one can stop them.

The Lord has shown me that it is horrible to be stuck in that type of behavior so I am starting to see them as how the Lord does, Forgiven but hurting, so I mention their names before our loving Father and trust that He will be "caught in the act of being Himself" and reveal His love and grace to them as He has done for me.

I can see in my spirit the joy that will arise out of their hearts when they see Him for who He truly is.

We have a great salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ and a good, good loving Father.

I just typed myself "happy"..;)

If people sin, and everyone tells them it is ok. Don;t expect them to repent, or ever admit any wrong doing.. This will continue in CC until everyone comnfrontsa the sin issue and calls people out on it.

Grace777 has said many times, he does not agree with everything the people in question say.. So he is not blindly defending them.. So saying he is is itself slander.. However, I believe it is based on ignorance, not willful sin.

But it goes to show how a sm,all lie can be made into a huge lie, and division is set in.

It makes you an accomplice to heresy.

And I rarely, if ever, see any love exhibited by the maligners.
According to you while you rush in and call them names, unloving, and the other things the rest of your drivel laden diatribes attest.

Search their post history. It's full sarcasm, bitterness, judgement, and even hatred.
Look at your post history on those who expose heresy. You really should.

You've followed me and attacked me in thread after thread in the same manner. Especially in posts where the heretics you embrace are exposed. But you protect them because they come in sheep's garb and deceive you.

That you protect WoF heretics explains your behavior and duplicity. I've seen no love from you though you claim it on your person time and again.

You claim this, malign others, attack them, call them names, then talk about how unloving they are while slandering them, and at the same time support heretics. Hmmmm. Interesting. Time for you to take some true inventory. Of yourself instead of others who stand on truth.

I agree. Good discussion in a respectful way is the proper environment for learning from each other. We can also learn how to articulate better too as some things can get screwy here in the internet.

Mis-understandings are frequently done so I try to ask questions or to clarify what is really being said. - and they are free to disagree too - same as I or you are free to disagree with them also.

When they start with the name-calling and slander - it's time to stop interacting with them.

I laugh at it now but I have been called every name in the book - ( even from some pastors )...like liar, heretic, satanic, demonic, a lover of sinning, a lover of covetousness, a hater of those that walk righteously, a hater of the Word of God, a hater of the words of Jesus.

One guy changed my name to "greasygracist777x70" when insulting me....lol ( I thought it was kind of funny at the time and gave him an A+ for ingenuity...:) )

Except I don't bother to report them. I leave them in the hands of the Lord.

Who is they?

Who exactly am I cheerleading?

I came to this thread because I like talking to Dcon, Bill, and others.

If you think I am cheerleading Stephen or P4T, then you need to get your eyes checked.

Those two barely tolerate me.

I genuinely like Peter when he isn't making strawmen.

Jimbo is unique and has good days and bad days but I really think on his good days he has a genuine heart and love for Jesus.

Blue and Magenta are my girls and I always thought of you as my brother.

God has the Holy Spirit to chastens His children and tell them their sins.

I don't bother correcting folks I don't like and who don't believe me when I tell them that I love them and consider them a brother or sister in Christ. I tend to ignore folks who have falsely accused me in the past and have yet to apologize.

God doesn't demand I confront ever sinner who crosses my path. I rebuke people when God places it on my heart to do so.

Otherwise,

I find it a waste of time.

Because only God can change hearts and minds

That is absolutely true. I have spoken against some of the beliefs that the WOF people have said in the past.

No one minister knows it all in every subject nor for some reason people won't let them be wrong and change what they believe without putting up website attacking them on something they believed 10-30 years ago.

I defended others that have been attacked in the same manner - even John McArthur. I disagree with him on a few areas but I don't put up threads attacking him.

Here is an example of me defending John McArthur. I was even slandered in saying that I posted against him but then I showed where I had defended MacArthur in the past.

I asked for the proof of this slander. Of course the one slandering never did come with any proof so I simply don't interact with these types anymore.

I would rather discuss specific doctrines, than preachers.

They aren't here to answer questions, so i find it pointless and seems more like gossip to me than productive discussion.

For example we can examine how name it claim it is a false doctrine and unbiblical...

However when folks start naming folks i have never heard of or meet my eyes glaze over.
