The current WOF movement is all about walking in a current state of monetary wealth, the best health and we do not suffer for he cause of Christ anymore.
~Bless the Lord, O My Soul
Psa 103:1 Davidic. Bless the LORD, My soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

Psa 103:2 Bless the LORD, My soul, and never forget any of his benefits:

Psa 103:3 He continues to forgive all your sins, he continues to heal all your diseases,

Psa 103:4 he continues to redeem your life from the Pit, and he continually surrounds you with gracious love and compassion.

Psa 103:5 He keeps satisfying you with good things, and he keeps renewing your youth like the eagle's.

His benefits are great! Again, carnality is flesh.

They aren't wrong as far as scripture, but motives need to be guarded, which is lacking I guess in many.

With these teachings, I relied on the scriptures in the first chapter of Daniel to do well in nursing classes. Was in the top 5 of my class, and was hired as a medications nurse for doing so well in the boards about pharmacology.

I'ts Holy Spirits job to sanctify us and cause growth. He does this much better than we can by trying to change our flesh, rather than declaring it dead by faith.

It's the Word and the Spirit working together in our life.

Now, I think I've combined several threads in my post. :)

The famous scripture that is used from those who believe we lose salvation is 1 Tim. 4:1 - but let's look and see what it is really saying "in context".

They usually love to just quote the part about seducing spirits and doctrines of devils ( which they usually apply to something they don't believe in but some one else might ).

Let's see what Paul was actually saying "departing from the faith actually is".

1 Timothy 4:1-5 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away ( apostesontai - this is the word - apostasy ) from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,

[SUP]2 [/SUP] by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,

[SUP]3 [/SUP] men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.

[SUP]4 [/SUP] For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude;

[SUP]5 [/SUP] for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer.

What is going to cause this "falling away" ( apostasy )...people who forbid others to marry...and not to eat certain foods...why is this departing from the faith?...it's in verse 3, 4 and 5.

verse 3 = which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth. It's in knowing who you are in Christ - who is the truth and the faith....this not marrying and not eating certain foods to keep yourself "separated" from others is a form of self-effort and reliance on a D.I.Y. self-righteousness/holiness mindset.

This is "departing from the faith - apostasy"....... people creating their own righteousness/holiness through their works of the flesh by self-effort when we are to believe on Christ's work on the cross and resurrection for all things.

It has the "appearance " of good but it denies the power to effect real change ...which is Christ in us and His life.

.. man-made religion denying the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ.

So we see that the word "apostasy" is not what some try to make it into. The seducing spirits and doctrines of devils is clearly defined by Paul.

There are many warnings in scripture about living your own ways and thoughts contrary to God such as depending on the flesh for life instead of walking by the spirit and they should be heeded if you want His life to be manifested in us.

Let's build believers up in Christ and feed them the proper nutrients of proclaiming the love and grace of our Lord for them and these will give them the proper foundation in Christ and then the warnings will be applied in context of Christ's finished work on the cross and not on a works-based, fear-based belief system which only nullifies the very grace of God needed for us to live in this earth.
Amazing post! It reminds me of the verse speaking on how the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgement, God didn't leave us to guess what that meant. He explained in the following verses exactly what he meant, in the same regard here, in this verse, He explains what is the source of the apostasy in the form of hypocrisy.

I know there are a lot of women (and men, but mostly women) on here who like Joyce Meyer a lot. Here is a clip exposing some of her doctrines that easily fall under "doctrines of demons".

Jesus ceased to be God (no longer deity/lost his divine essence)
Jesus suffered at the hands of demons in hell
The atonement didn't take place on the cross
Believe all this or you aren't saved
Jesus was the first born again man
People are little gods (in the divine/deity sense) - not in this clip but is something she teaches in line with all WoF teachers
Christians are sinless (if not, Jesus died in vain according to her)

Everyone is a heretic to some one else. Case in point

Here is a website talking about the "heresies" of John McArthur

blank John Macarthur's Heretical Teaching Regarding the Blood of Christ

Here's another

John MacArthur accuses half-a-billion Christians of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit

Another

A True Church - John MacArthur's Damning Doctrine

Here is another..

John MacArthur:- “His beliefs & Teachings”

This is not just something aimed at super-rich big-name preachers; it also applies to all preachers who try to use churches to climb the spiritual social ladder to become famous with peer status. MacArthur, in 2011 earned over half a million dollars by working part-time for his own ‘Grace to You’ organisation and part time at The Master’s College.

And that does NOT include his salary as a pastor, book royalties and speaking fees, etc. (thewatchmanawakes.com ), so his total income each year is estimated at over $1 million. His two sons run the Grace to You organisation, so they, too, reap big rewards.

To make this more dubious, Grace to You paid out over $4 million to his son-in-law’s company over six years. The company receives over three quarters a million a year to produce MacArthur’s videos. Also, one must observe his other activities: a number of researches into his life show an affiliation with Freemasonry, paganism (see A-703) and druids. But, what does he teach? Scripture warns us never to accept or promote teachers who teach against scripture. It says we are to mark them:

Unquote:

There are tons of more websites dedicated the to "heretic " John McArthur. We can do this for every preacher that is well known.

So, you can see that there are people out there that will rip apart every minister that disagrees with them in some area.

Personally I believe McArthur has some good things to say and some things that are off - just like every other preacher - but this is just an example to show that we can exhibit malice towards anyone and publicly insult them.

I certainly don't endorse the type of bad behavior in attacking our fellow brethren like this just because they have a different view or maybe it was something he said 20 years ago and it was done as an "illustration" purpose only.

I've already read these articles since you post them often when you get your feelings hurt over the false doctrines you embrace getting exposed. I can't find anything heretical in his teachings. If you could point to something specifically, I would appreciate it.

It still blows my mind that you defend undeniable blasphemy and heresy. I'll keep praying for you.

I have never posted any article like this before. Please show me where I have done this before - thank you.

This was an illustration to show that all ministers are heretics on the internet to someone else.

I personally think this type of behavior is ungodly to be publicly deflaming ministers just because others disagree in an area or two about them.

Thank you for praying for me. I ask that you pray these prayers. Thank you!

Ephesians 1:17-18 (NASB)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.
[SUP]18 [/SUP] I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

Ephesians 3:16-19 (NASB)
[SUP]16 [/SUP] that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man,
[SUP]17 [/SUP] so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
[SUP]18 [/SUP] may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,
[SUP]19 [/SUP] and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

You're welcome man. And you have posted plenty of articles about MacArthur in the past on my threads about false teachers. I'm not digging through everything to find them however, but it's a common defense for you to "prove" that everyone is somehow heretical, so all should be accepted.

Again, can you point to something specifically that John MacArthur teaches that is heretical so we can examine it in the light of scripture.

This is interesting since Joyce Meyer is not part of the WOF movement. The only one to say we are little gods is Kenneth Copeland.

Show me one where I have defamed Mr. McArthur myself. I have said just the opposite and said that it is ungodly to be attacking these ministers.

I even stood up for him one time in a thread saying that I don't agree with his beliefs on the gifts of the Spirit being not for today - but I will not defame him because of it.

I can see that you are not going to be straight forward with me so I'm limiting my interaction with you until you start dealing with me in a truthful way.

But to show you what I mean - here is a quote from CC where I talked about Mr. McArthur on June 12/2016.

Quote:

This is so true. What if people started to put up videos maligning beloved men/women of God that Jesus bled and died for like John McArthur - just because he doesn't believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit like other believers do? What Christian walking in love and with the Lord would even consider doing something like that?

We could use our "Christian" righteous anger to say that McArthur is spreading the most vile kind of heresy and is in fact a wolf. We could show a video with a snake wrapped around him for "special effects" to further show the "truth" of his apostasy and how he is leading so many others down the wrong path.

Nobody should slander and be so malice-filled toward McArthur to do such a thing to a person that the Lord has saved and loved. ( but sadly there are websites dedicated to McArthur )

There are actually WEBSITES dedicated to showing that the apostle Paul was a heretic too because he "conflicted" with Jesus' words.

No, what is ungodly is defending blasphemy and openly heretical teachings that clearly warp the Gospel and truth. Which you do on a daily basis. How very hateful of you. The loving thing to do is to tell the truth and defend the faith. This kinda stuff we are posting on here is toxic to a baby Christian and can easily shipwreck their faith.

So, in truth I have not done what you have slanderously said I did about Mr. McArthur. This is why I am not interacting with you anymore until I see that this type of behavior changes.

I wish you well and God bless you...He will be faithful to you.

This was proven by to be a doctored video by people working for Grace 2 you. Do you have something better?

Most of the vids using audio only have been faked to try to make a point. It does not mean I defend Joyce Meyer, but if you are going to post something, be sure its not fake to prove a point.

John MacArthur openly rebuked those in his ministry and outside followers who engaged in this sad behavior. Joyce also forgave the people responsible.

So they faked their voices? Be real man. If anything they just played clips of different sermons in the background and the audio is legit.

Another favorite tactic is to take a part of what is said and leave out the context in which it was said - this makes it "appear" to be saying something else other then what is being said when the context of it is left out on purpose.

Sometimes too people just don't agree on things - it happens. Sometimes also it is things people said 20-30 years ago too. Which one of us has been perfect in all our doctrines since day one?

Grace did Joyce say or not say -

Yes or no?

What did she mean in context according to you?
Do you think what she said is heretical or not?

Joyce Meyer gets up in from of people and tells them to give until it hurts, then she gets into her $20,000,000.00 jet plane and flies off, and when asked about the plane she said that she deserves it because she is doing so much good. A very deceived woman and anyone who thinks that is acceptable with God is deceived.
