Me too pal, me too.

I gave scripture

You gave commentary

I asked for scripture

You gave more commentary

I asked yet again for scripture, without commentary

You finally ponied up scripture, but still with commentary.

Excuse me if I prefer God's words over yours.

Only the truly ignorant puts his word over God's.
I can equally say the same thing about one who in ignorance rejects scripture that contradicts his bias (gone to seed) stance....and equally well a hypocrite....JESUS said SELL ALL YOU HAVE....have you done that? EXACTLY

EZEKIEL's instruction

PREACH the WORD
MAKE THE SENSE KNOWN
GIVE a reasonable APPLICATION

SO, your mouthy comments again prove who leads you......and your rejection of the scripture I GAVE which proved my stance is rejected by one who cannot humble himself and admit truth...

SO....take your own advice...here I will help YOU......

ME TOO PAL, ME TOO<----you get the drift right?

a. Who bough the tomb Jesus was laid in? What does the bible say about him?
b. Was Solomon lying when he said it was of GOD'S hand to enjoy the fruit of one's labor?
c. Was Solomon given wealth by GOD's hand?
d. The three wise men laid what at the feet of JESUS?
e. Was Job wealthy and what was his last estate?
f. Did God allow the HEBREWS to SPOIL the Egyptians?
g. The one given the most TALENTS....what was his reward when the MASTER came back?

a. Matthew 27:57 When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:

b. Ecclesiastes 2:24 There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.

c. 1st Kings 3:13 King James Bible And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.

d. Matthew 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

e. Job 42:12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

f. Exodus 12:36 The LORD caused the Egyptians to look favorably on the Israelites, and they gave the Israelites whatever they asked for. So they stripped the Egyptians of their wealth!

g. Matthew 25:28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. <--talent is GOLD

Let me tell you something pal....IF I MAKE statements about the bible, you would do well to understand I can back them up...Your attitude has been condescending toward anyone who disagrees with your xx amount of scriptures that you have gone to seed on....the bible contains BALANCE and GOD has used RICH MEN and poor men to work his will...rich men who WERE faithful and true disciples......!
a. how many of Jesus' followers follow everything He says?

b. enjoying the fruit of your labor does not imply wealth, but comfort.

c. Bravo! You got one. Score: 46 to 1

d. Yehaw! That's 2! Altho only one of them had gold and he was giving it away (Funny cutaway here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekq2OhZOkBc )

e. On a roll... 3

f. The Hebrews took the Egyptians to get them thru. It wasn't enough, as God had to provide more as they wandered the desert. Hardly riches.

g. The key is WHEN THE MASTER RETURNED. Who's our master? Jesus. What do we get when He returns? RICHES IN HEAVEN, according to how we RESPONSIBLY used our resources. Oh, and, The talent as a unit of value is mentioned in the New Testament in Jesus' parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30). This parable is the origin of the use of the word "talent" to mean "gift or skill" in English and other languages.

Final score... 46 to 3. Care to make a superbowl like comeback, or shall we call it quits?

if you have this issue your not alone and its not something to beat yourself up over. Satan and the giant corporations put billions and billions of dollars into making people think they need way more than what they need.

Exactly why your hard stance is false....and talk about a hypocrite...HAHAHH you rake me for commentary and you post a video.....now that's funny......and Your super bowl comment.....I wish I could say what I really think.....that's ok.....kind of...lacking in spirituality....If I remember right, your view on salvation misses the mark as well............explains a lot!

You're right, I yield. Riches are good, we all should horde them. Screw the little guy. And buy the MRV Bible. Which conveniently redacts my whole argument.

You know what scares me more than a believer who handpicks scripture to fit their needs?

A Christian without a sense of humor.

You're right, you win.

a. Ignorance...he is described as righteous, a disciple and His wealth was used for good and God's purpose
b. Ignorance..to enjoy one's fruit from labor is indicative of any profit from any labor...
c. WOW...acknowledges truth....miracles do happen
d. Proof positive...the wealth was used by GOD to finance two years in EGYPT
e. AGAIN TRUTH that is 3...2 or 3 witnesses make something TRUE according to GOD and makes my point
f. TRY AGAIN they spoiled the EGYPTIANS of GOLD, SILVER, JEWELS (where did they spend it) if you knew scripture you would KNOW that GOD used the riches that the HEBREWS SPOILED in the construction of the TABERNACLE....MORE PROOF OF MY POINT
g. TALENT is indicative of GOLD or PAYMENT....context makes your point look foolish...

OH JESUS I HAVE 10 talents...I can play guitar, milk a cow, herd GOATS...etc....WELL DONE I WILL GIVE YOU 10 more...you can NOW work wood, grow grapes...blah blah blah.....

WOW!

MORE uncalled for responses....NO WHERE did I disregard what you said.....there is a BALANCE and MONEY itself IS NOT EVIL, nor is IT UNBIBLICAL for SOME WHO ARE WEALTHY TO USE THIER WEALTH FOR GOOD and the BIBLE HAS BOTH...wake up RICKY!

Interesting------------
How do we determine what is to much?
At what point does one's saving, preparing for an emergency become "HORDING"?
What should a person do when he spends 20 years building a home and property and now the tax man assesses it at three times the money you have invested?
Is it wrong to save for a child's education?
Is it wrong to save for one's retirement?
As long as a person gives 30 to 40% of his income to his church, missionaries, others in need, and lives a simple life, is it a sin to save for a retirement trip to Israel?
At what point is a person considered rich?

I believe these are valid questions.
