In other Words, if One isn't learning from the KJV, then One is in danger of not learning at all.

Total sickness. But there is still hope that Jesus will heal it.

Since The Holy Spirit is not human.... probably not. Unless, of course The Spirit might choose to appear as human to one of us for a purpose in our lives.

okay my only help in this topic is that Jesus once spoke there is none "good" but God....I would think the same about "holy"

but God spoke in the old testament..... Jesus was born and crucified in the new testament as He introduces the comforter...or Holy Spirit... (In Act talks about the intro to this topic...)

John 1:1 says In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the Word Was God
    (please explain this verse also)

I am Pentecostal...I totally believe that if I don't continually try to learn more about God's Word and about God and everything about my faith... I am weak...spiritually...and the devil will try to make me weaker
The truth is it is about receiving the Holy Spirit, which without the Spirit they are ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth, and without the Spirit they can never overcome the flesh, which a Spirit led life will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. It is about receiving the Spirit, which the blood of Christ that washes away our sins causes us to be able to receive the Spirit.

The Spirit is so important to understanding God's word, that we need not that any person teach us,but the Spirit will teach us,and bring us in to all truth, bring back to our remembrance things that we learned, and show us things to come.

Any Church that does not claim the power of the Holy Spirit in the life of a person,or limits that power, should be a Church to avoid.

But concerning Pentecostals,UPCI,I have observed that they do make the best effort, and visibly known,at abstaining from sin, which does not mean they might not sin,but they appear as the most holy, and able to keep from sin,and want to keep from sin, than any other group, and I have observed that people that believe OSAS have a lot of worldliness about them.

But I do not let myself get influenced by preachers, but check out the word myself, and hear what they say,but always check it out myself, for if a person does that they might not understand some things in the Bible, but they will have a better take on it than listening to all these people say this and that, and God does not give the preacher more wisdom than any other person, and understanding of His word, for we need not that any person teach us,but the Spirit will teach us,and if any person lacks wisdom, let them ask God for wisdom, who gives to all people liberally, nothing wavering.

So we should not look at preachers as wow, that man knows a lot of the Bible,as if a common pew sitter cannot understand the same, which I have noticed that all these people that people look at as spiritual giants can have some wrongful doctrines, and some big errors, and influence a lot of people with such.

For me I always saw the Holy Spirit as a conduit between yourself and God. As in, nothing else, but spirit, connects you to God. Either that or the Holy Spirit, is the higher/spiritual self of each person that is always in Gods image? So if we walk with the Holy Spirit we are close to God, if we walk with our carnal mind, our body, and it's urges, we are far from God. Jesus walked with the Holy Spirit as a constant, that is why (in my opinion), 'through' him, means connecting to God by engaging with the Holy Spirit in a Christlike way. I don't agree with what many take 'through' to mean in literal terms. The other thought could be that the pure spirit of Jesus IS the Holy Spirit, since things require 3 elements, eg. you, conduit, God. If we know who Jesus is, then we know what the image of the Holy Spirit is. So connecting to Holy Spirit through the (somewhat) blueprint of Jesus.

Ghost just doesn't seem to cut it in so many places (at least for me.)

God is ghost and those who worship Him must worship in ghost and in truth...?

As for John 1:1, the Word is Jesus, I believe. The beginning of John is talking about Jesus. It ties in with the beginning of Genesis.

It's all very amazing., He is all very amazing.. Rom.8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.

    Your NIV says that right?

The reason it doesn't say this, is because it was added somewhere around the time of Jerome's very poor translation into Latin. He barely read Greek or Hebrew, he was just pulling together a Latin version for the RCC.

Perhaps you need to stop referring to verses that were ADDED so much later than the earlier manuscripts!

Perhaps you should do more research and less insulting.

The term, "Holy Ghost" was used by the King James translators, the word ghost simply meaning spirit, and not a ghost as we think of today.

He is The One Who does the actual physical doing of things upon the earth, except for once in earths history...the incarnation... when The second Person of the Godhead came to earth as a Human and died on a cruel cross. Even then, Hebrews tells us that The Holy Spirt superintended, even telling Him when to give up the Ghost.

Hope this helped. The subject of The Holy Ghost is one of my favorite bible things to study and talk about.
The Holy Ghost is the one (restrainer) that is within each person who believes. If you have to ask if you have Him then I suggest you go back to square one and reach out to Jesus Christ with your heart before it is too late.. I might just be your mind is letting you down.
Like the Bereans in Acts 17:11 (KJV) "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."

With Jesus Christ as your savior, The Holy Spirit will teach you if you are willing to learn from Him. He will guide you in daily activities if you will listen to Him. He will protect and maintain your soul in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit if you will let Him.

Whats wrong with the KJV; " For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. They look to be the same.

    Hi,

At least you have been honest with your self for one can say either

God is wind and those who worship Him must worship in wind and in truth...? or the big joke that

God is flatulence and those who worship Him must worship in flatulence and in truth...?

    Holy Ghost = Holy Spirit.

I know this appears to be long winded but there is much information here that you might want to HEAR?

The modernization is the problem.. Lets say in another fifty years it is modernized again...Will it mean the same...I mean today, A Hoe is not the same meaning for a Hoe (used int he Garden) that I grew up with. There are all kind of words that have been put out to pasture because of PC and when you start changing the Words of God, WELLlllllllllllllllllllllll....................... ..hum

Let me ask you something else. Lets refer to Matthew chapter 1 for an example.
The Bible Authenicates itself by codes that is impossible to duplicate. Everytime we change a word, this Authentication will throw it out. I know you are saying what codes......Well let me show you the Glory of GOD in his WORDS

Have you noticed How many 7's are in the Bible...some 600......

You can find these in the Geneology of Jesus Christ Matthew 1:1-11, (in GREEK LXX)

*1. The number of words used divisible by 7, evenly.
*2. The Number of letters used divisible by 7, evenly.
*3. The Number of vowels and the number of Consonants divisible by 7, evenly.
*4. The number of words that BEGIN WITH A VOWEL divisible by 7, evenly.
*5. The Number of words that BEGIN WITH A CONSONANT divisible by 7, evenly.
*6. The number of words that OCCUR MORE THAN ONCE divisible by 7, evenly.
*7. The number of words that OCCUR IN MORE THAN ONE FORM divisible by 7, evenly.
*8. The number of words that OCCUR IN ONLY ONE FORM divisible by 7, evenly.
*9. The number of NOUNS divisible by 7, evenly
*10. Only 7 words NOT NOUNS
*11. The number of Names divisible by 7,evenly
*12. Only 7 OTHER KINDS OF NOUNS .

There are 35 total categories for these codes in these short 11 verses. It repeats itself throughout the Bible.

in the Geneology of LUKE; Adam,Seth,Enosh,Kenan,Mahalalel,Jared,Enoch,Methus elah,Lamech,Noah.
Hidden messages in the Names of these 10 people. Adam=Man, Seth=Appointed, Enosh=Mortal,Kenan=Sorrow,Mahalalel=The Blessed God, Jared=Shall Come Down, Enoch=Teaching, Methusalah=His Death Shall Bring, Lamech=The Despairing and Noah=Comfort, Rest...........Now if you put these meaning all together it says this.

Man (is) Appointed Mortal Sorrow (but)The Blessed God Shall Come Down Teaching His Death Shall Bring The Despairing Comfort, Rest. I have added the two ()extended text to make it easier to read. You can add other words there if you want to.

The Geneology was already once given and written by Moses in the Book of Genesis. Now here it is in the exact OT form in the NEW Testament.

This is a short list of the Bible codes.... You cannot add or take away words from either the OT or the NT and make it fit. Man is not that Smart and never will be in this mortal body. That is why I stay with the KJV for everything. I urge each of you to watch this film clip of about 1 hr in length when you get a chance. It might just change your minds about the coming Rapture and Tribulations.

Doesn't Chuck Missler teach a pre-tribulation rapture of the church? I know that one is not in the bible, how can folks use the bible to prove something when it does not exist?

Modernization is not a problem for people who understand the purpose of translation or the fluidity of language. Just as nobody would have translated the Bible into Elizabethan English in 600 AD, no-one would do so in 2017 either, because it is not the current language. The point of translation is to make the Word available to contemporary readers of other languages (including English).

Your point about Bible codes being part of what authenticates the Bible is valid, but your application is not. The translation has absolutely nothing to do with it. If there are codes, they must be present in the original languages or they are not valid; simple as that. Your examples reference the original languages.
