In Leviticus 23. The weekly Sabbath is described first, then the yearly Sabbaths. The words Holy convocation and no work, are two signs which identify all Sabbath observance.
The first and last days of the 7 day festival of Unleavened Bread are Sabbath days.
On the day of the Harvest festival, the people were to gather for worship and do none of their daily work. This day is also a Sabbath.
Another Sabbath that is held on the first day of the seventh month, is ‘The New Year festival,’ which was a special day of rest, a day on which the people were to gather for worship and do no work.
On the seventh day of the tenth month is the Day of Atonement, which was another Sabbath, on which the people were to gather for worship, do no work, but was also a day of fasting.
The Festival of shelters is a seven day festival, which is held on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, the first day of this festival is a holy Sabbath, and the eighth day, the day after the festival is another Sabbath.
Of all the Sabbaths recorded in scripture, it is only the seventh day weekly Sabbath, that is declared to be, ‘The Day of the Lord,’ and one day to the Lord is as a thousand years.

All just a quick one for those that are interested in the what the real Shadow Sabbaths actually are. Here is where they are found. I have posted a more detailed discussion in Posts 1166 and 1168. Here is a summarized version just from God's Word.
The Shadow Sabbaths in God's Word that were a Shadow of things to come.. Yes I am posting all of Lev 23 so people can see what was required as part of the duties of the annual Shadow Sabbaths and how it is exactly what Paul is referring to in Col 2:17
Lev 23:1, And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Lev 23:2, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
Lev 23:3, Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
Lev 23:4, These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

Lev 23:18, And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD. (most of the festivals had meat and drink offerings also referred to in Col 2)
Lev 23:19, Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.
Lev 23:20, And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.
Lev 23:21, And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

Lev 23:40, And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days. (this is what was to be done on these feast Shadow Sabbaths)
Lev 23:41, And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
Lev 23:42, Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
Lev 23:43, That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
Lev 23:44, And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.
All the above were called annual sabbaths because they had special connections and duty requirements with certain yearly feasts. In addition to the weekly Sabbaths (Lev. 23:3), there were seven annual, ceremonial sabbaths scattered through Israel's religious calendar. These yearly sabbaths were not directly related to the seventh-day Sabbath or the weekly cycle. These sabbaths, "beside the Sabbaths of the Lord" (Lev. 23:38), were the first and last days of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Day of Pentecost, the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and the first and last days of the Feast of Tabernacles (cf. Lev. 23:7, 8, 21, 24, 25, 27, 28, 35, 36).
Because the reckoning of these sabbaths depended on the beginning of the sacred year, which was based on the lunar calendar, they could fall on any day of the week. When they coincided with the weekly Sabbath, they were called "high days" (John 19:31). "While the weekly Sabbath was ordained at the close of Creation week for all mankind, the annual sabbaths were an integral part of the Jewish system of rites and ceremonies instituted at Mount Sinai, . . . which pointed forward to the coming of the Messiah, and the observance of which terminated with His death on the cross.
The connection with Col 2:16-17?
Lets look at it but we will look also at the context from verse 14...14 (context),"Blotting out the handwriting" (Greek = manuscript legal document G5495) of "ordinances" (G1378 δόγμα, dogma; dog'-mah = civil, ceremonial or ecclesiastical ordinance) that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; So the context is the blotting out of the civil, ceremonial and ecclesiastical laws. So Paul is not talking about any of God's 10 commandments or moral law as the Greek word used is Dogma. This is the Context in verse 14 and follows on to verses 16-17
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath day(s)
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.So comparing Leviticus Chapter 23 and looking at both the Hebrew and Greek in context of Col 2:14-17 it can be clearly shown that Paul is firstly referring to new moons, food and drink offerings, holy days and ceremonial annual Sabbaths (also called high Sabbaths (John 19:31) that all have their origin and connection to the annual feasts (e.g Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Feast of First Fruits, Blowing of Trumpets, Day of Atonement and Feast of Tabernacles) These were the Shadow Sabbaths referred to in Col 2:16 which were all pointing to Jesus and nailed to the cross. As the context is the ceremonial and ecclesiastical laws.

All the above were called annual sabbaths because they had special connections and duty requirements with certain yearly feasts. In addition to the weekly Sabbaths (Lev. 23:3), there were seven annual, ceremonial sabbaths scattered through Israel's religious calendar. These yearly sabbaths were not directly related to the seventh-day Sabbath or the weekly cycle. These sabbaths, "beside the Sabbaths of the Lord" (Lev. 23:38), were the first and last days of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Day of Pentecost, the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and the first and last days of the Feast of Tabernacles (cf. Lev. 23:7, 8, 21, 24, 25, 27, 28, 35, 36).
Because the reckoning of these sabbaths depended on the beginning of the sacred year, which was based on the lunar calendar, they could fall on any day of the week. When they coincided with the weekly Sabbath, they were called "high days" (John 19:31). "While the weekly Sabbath was ordained at the close of Creation week for all mankind, the annual sabbaths were an integral part of the Jewish system of rites and ceremonies instituted at Mount Sinai, . . . which pointed forward to the coming of the Messiah, and the observance of which terminated with His death on the cross.
The connection with Col 2:16-17?
Lets look at it but we will look also at the context from verse 14...14 (context),"Blotting out the handwriting" (Greek = manuscript legal document G5495) of "ordinances" (G1378 δόγμα, dogma; dog'-mah = civil, ceremonial or ecclesiastical ordinance) that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; So the context is the blotting out of the civil, ceremonial and ecclesiastical laws. So Paul is not talking about any of God's 10 commandments or moral law as the Greek word used is Dogma. This is the Context in verse 14 and follows on to verses 16-17
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath day(s)

All that hoo-ha about the Greek word "dogma" and how it relates to the law being split into bits is COMPLETELY foreign to the writer (Paul) and his readership.
The law was NEVER split into components as is suggested here - no Jew, and especially Paul, a Pharisee, would allow that interpretation.
The ten commandments NEVER were and still ARE NOT separate from the law of Moses.
Neither Paul nor the Colossian readers of this epistle knew anything about classifying the law into separate bits!

You are the one making extrabiblical claims - suppose you try and show anywhere in Scripture that the law was split into sections and some bits and bobs were fulfilled in Jesus but not others?
I am not rejecting God's Word, I know that Colossians 2:14 refers to the whole law, not bits and pieces.
Your exegesis fails with a very simple error - you assume that the Greek word "dogma" can only have a single meaning - in your case an inaccurate one because the law was never split into bits.
You do know that the Greek word "dogma" is used in Ephesians 2:15, don't you?
And you do know that in that instance it refers unequivocally to the whole law, do you not?

as there were people in the OT who REFUSED to hear God anymore after He had spoken the 10 Com to them Ex 20 and Deut 5, so there are still people TOday who also refuse to hear God and all those who speak the Word of God.
Their spirit of rebellion only lets them hear what will further their unbelief UNTIL they repent and humble themselves, die to self and accept God's Word in ALL things. To some this may never happen and may be best to withdraw from them and leave them to the Lord.
as there were people in the OT who REFUSED to hear God anymore after He had spoken the 10 Com to them Ex 20 and Deut 5, so there are still people TOday who also refuse to hear God and all those who speak the Word of God.
