Devotionals by ministers including Mr. Joseph Prince have been cleared as allowable by CC. This de-railing of the OP is against CC rules and is being reported.

The mods can deal with this behavior. I'm asking the others to please not interact with those that are de-railing the message of the OP. Thank you.

With as many good devotions out there, Why choose Joseph Prince?

IMO, that's as bad as pulling devotions out of the Satanic Bible.

You're just trying to be offensive, aren't you?

Sorry. I reported him as well. Just being nasty for the sake of it.

Amen to the OP. We may not have everything we want, but He gives us everything we need. We need to trust his wisdom and judgement. He is much more objective than we are. He will not give us more than we can safely handle.

Is it possible to derail choose Jesus over wealth?

The rich young man had a serious problem in this regard.

I have wondered at the security riches appears to give the holder,
when often they live sad lonely lives because fear stalks them, will
they loose all the money, do they like me for my money or because of
me?

Hard times do not come, and things come easy so to actually value things
for real can be quite hard.

One of my sons friends got everything, yet they did not enjoy anything very
much. My son had to choose, to value, to focus and then invest time and
energy into the hobby. It made a big difference, because not only did they
learn to value why they cared about things, but also that things have value
in what they do and their role, not just can I get it and what is its status
impact.

That's okay, maybe then I can ask them to stop Joseph Prince's teachings in here once & for all.

After all, Prince's stuff was banned in the BDF, yes?
The only person we can trust 100% and always is Jesus and His Word. That is exactly what the OP title says. I made the mistake of mentioning Charles Stanley's name once. I have decided to just post Bible verses from now on. I pity the mods. They have a grievous heavy responsibility.

(Matt 13:28 [KJV])
He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
(Matt 13:29 [KJV])
But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
(Matt 13:30 [KJV])
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

But notice that Jesus does not pretend that tares and enemies don't exist...
The important thing is that we judge ourselves. Doing more could get us hung on our own gallows and drowned in our own bitterness.

Good on you, enforcing the law, bringing people to justice, the law is the law, it
should be enforced because we are under law, opps. I thought we were under grace,
forgiveness and love.

And I thought forgiveness and love was your guiding light G7.

Or maybe telling God how He should behave and then following your own justice and
judgement here on earth might appear a bit hypocritical????

The mods act similar to church leadership in their role to deal with those that don't exhibit the behavior that is needed for others to be able to participate in an environment where there is respect. This environment should be safe for others and allow the message of the OP to be discussed without de-railing and causing strife and division.

Personally I thank God for the mods as they are God's wisdom in action in CC and they bear the sword for nothing for those of us that violate good respectful behavior. They have asked us to let them know when there are direct violations so that they can deal with those that refuse to act in an appropriate manner with others.

Romans 13:1-4 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.

[SUP]2 [/SUP] Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.

[SUP]3 [/SUP] For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same;

[SUP]4 [/SUP] for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil.

And in this truth we can trust in Jesus completely - in keeping with the OP's theme of trusting Christ in all places in our lives.
