Well said! How can we know and experience the living word? Jesus is the living word made flesh for all in all. The rest sadly are just scribbles on paper. I could never receive unconditional mercy or divine grace under the old testament but Bless be to Him the hope of glory JESUS because He lives in me and i am. My life is in Him my hope is in Him my heart is The one that loved me first.

Jesus spoke the Living word, and then it was written the living part is when we accept the word into our hearts and hold faith in the Word because our faith is in the One who spoke it. how do we gain knowledge ? or communicate? God has spoken, it was written according to His will and preserved. The written word Holds the living Knowledge of God. The word of God puts the spirit into Our Hearts. everything we have heard about Jesus, is because someone Believed in what was written nearly 2000 years ago otherwise wed be at the mercy of anyone saying anything and then saying " God says this saints...or God says that saints.

The written Word of God is essential to everything a Christian believes. ive personally never Heard God speak audibly, maybe others Have, but what is written turned a guilt free sinner, into a guilt free disciple of Jesus Christ, and His word has reshaped my mind and Heart to where my thoughts are in line with His word.
it seems odd in a bible discussion forum......its a topic of the connection between the Word of God, and the written word of God. My Friend. Jesus is the living word made flesh and blood. The law or should i say words of the law were fulfilled in Him. The written word is good yes but have the living word made flesh in uarriving us freedom in Jesus that is power. The law was not for grace or mercy but fear of God and the consequences of sin death.
is it therefore good for teaching yes but it must not be a way of understanding the word. We live under the dispensation of grace and mercy through Faith not under the law. we would never be able to fulfill it.

the living word is when you accept what "the word made flesh said lol and let it become part of your mind and heart.
john 7:16-17 "Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. "
they are living words because they are Gods Words, His teachings, just Like Jesus was made flesh by Gods Word...His words make us like Him
thats why....john 15:10 "If you keep My commands you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commands and remain in His love. "
How to Love is the idea Here, its what the gospel is.
you should accept the Words, of the "word made flesh" because its spirit and life meant to accept and give life to the dead.

i guess since its not really about what the scripture says, it may not really have an affect, but wouldnt you think its prety important to hear the "word made fleshs" words? being that he repeatedly said " my words its all about my teachings because im the One to hear and accept? i may be a fool, but ill take the written word of Jesus, over the written words of jospeh prince or the like for only 19.95 explaining why Jesus words arent really for christians

True ministry desires God's very best for the brethren.
