Well we can cross that debate off the list now. :D

Sorry im going through Ecclesiastes in case you wondered!

Ecclesiastes 7:20 NKJV
[20] For there is not a just man on earth who does good And does not sin.

Ecclesiastes 7:20 NLT
[20] Not a single person on earth is always good and never sins.
I honestly feel bad for people who believe they never sin, the chains they place on themselves and the blindness to their own sins is heavy and an unrepentant heart is a dangerous thing.

God/man and just plain man are not the same. Let's stop playing word games.
All men excluding Christ are born with a sinful nature, consider children, no one has to teach them how to misbehave, they do it on their own.

Original sin/total deprapity or total inability- Psalms 51:5, Ehp. 2:3, Rom. 3:32, Gen. 8:21.

so when scripture says Jesus was tempted just as we are, He was in fact not tempted as we are because the man made doctrine says different?

that what Jesus taught when He said we have to become like children to enter into heaven?
consider how many wars children have started, how many people have been oppressed by children, how many have been kicked out of their homes by children, starved to death by children, burned alive by children, etc etc. zero by my count, children dont do these things until they are fully indoctrinated into the adult world, after their minds have been corrupted.

Being tempted is not sinning.

Man is born with an inclination to sin, children do sin, but are not yet accountable for their actions.
There are instances of children serving in WW2 for both the allied and the axis. Children even rob people. If you dig around on Google you can a story about a kid who cut another kid in half. So the only question here is when will a child start to sin.

When Jesus says to accept the Gospel like children does that mean we must be sinless to accept the Gospel? No way.

i never said it was.

of course we have a nature to sin, we also have a nature to reject sin as well as do works for the Lord, and lastly we have a choice to decide which way to go.
original sin is the idea that we are being held accountable for the sin of others. by definition thats an innocent person being punished and is in itself, the shedding of innocent blood, an act the Almighty says He hates.

if you dig deep enough you can find anything, are these occurrences normal, no, they are very far from normal. i have never seen a child do any of these things, but i see adults doing these things non stop. if we were truely born with this sinfulness, we should see kids doing these things all the time no different than the adults, but we dont.

When Jesus says to accept the Gospel like children does that mean we must be sinless to accept the Gospel? No way.
maybe because kids dont give themselves brain damage from worrying non stop over whats a sin and whats not a sin, kids live in the moment, they live like the birds and the lilies of the fields that Jesus taught us about.
