Not really a Bible question but let us say:
Man has free will and does some good but why is it always mostly evil that we do?

Why is it harder to do good than evil? Why is it not equal?

Are there any verses of Scripture for this situation?
Paul talked about his sinful condition when he was living under the law before his changed life in Christ in Romans 7th chapter, starting the topic at verse 1 at this link below.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans+7&version=KJV

But I skipped to the part in quoting the scripture which I think is relevant to your question.

Romans 7:[SUP]14 [/SUP]For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.[SUP] 15 [/SUP]For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.[SUP]16 [/SUP]If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.[SUP]17 [/SUP]Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.[SUP] 18 [/SUP]For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.[SUP] 19 [/SUP]For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.[SUP] 20 [/SUP]Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.[SUP] 21 [/SUP]I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.[SUP] 22 [/SUP]For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:[SUP] 23 [/SUP]But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.[SUP] 24 [/SUP]O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?[SUP]25 [/SUP]I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Is it? Is it really harder "not to kill" than "kill"? Not to steal than steal?

I think its not harder to do good, its harder to want good, because we have evil inclinations.
If we are sold under sin and are slaves to sin, then that would show our inclination regardless of any good intentions by our spirit. Jesus said it best in regards to asking His disciples to just stay awake to watch with Him.

Matthew 26:[SUP]40 [/SUP]And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?[SUP] 41 [/SUP]Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Titus 3:5 says we were saved not because of our works done in righteousness.
But often it looks like God gives grace and people "earned it" like Cornelius in Acts 10

Acts 10:4 Cornelius stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked. The angel answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God.

I know Paul doesnt contradict so whats going on

Titus 3:5 says we were saved not because of our works done in righteousness.
But often it looks like God gives grace and people "earned it" like Cornelius in Acts 10

Acts 10:4 Cornelius stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked. The angel answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God.

I know Paul doesnt contradict so whats going on
In Acts 10:4, Cornelius's religious works has shown his desire to God from his heart in seeking God, and God the Father saw this to know that Cornelius would receive the gospel from Simon Peter which was why the angel sent to Cornelius bid Cornelius to send for Simon Peter to preach unto Cornelius the Good News so that he may hear, believe, and be saved.

This had to be done this way because this was the first time God would ask Peter to detour from his set goal & mission to preach the gospel first to the Jews by way of a vision to take time out to preach the gospel to the Gentiles.

It was not Cornelius works that would save him since he needed to hear the gospel to believe in Him to be saved, but his religious works of charity has shown to God the Father that it was time for him to hear the Good News in Christ Jesus.

God the Father sees everything, and He saw this Gentile sinner as one He would give to Jesus to save.

Matthew 11:[SUP]25 [/SUP]At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.[SUP] 26 [/SUP]Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.[SUP] 27 [/SUP]All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

John 6:[SUP]44 [/SUP]No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 6:[SUP]39 [/SUP]And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.[SUP]40 [/SUP]And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

God knows whom will come to Jesus to believe in Him from those that prefer their evil deeds rather than come to the light to be reproved of them, and so Cornelius was such a person that God would send the Good News to as he was seeking Him.

Matthew 7:[SUP]6 [/SUP]Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.[SUP] 7 [/SUP]Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:[SUP]8 [/SUP]For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

An example of God knowing whom would receive Him from those that would not can be found below in that reference.

Acts 16:[SUP]6 [/SUP]Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,[SUP] 7 [/SUP]After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not.[SUP] 8 [/SUP]And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.[SUP] 9 [/SUP]And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.[SUP]10 [/SUP]And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

So there is no contradiction here with Paul's wordings when Cornelius whom was seeking God personally, needed to hear the gospel too in order to believe in Him in a personal way by way of the Son to be saved.

John 14:[SUP]6 [/SUP]Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.[SUP] 7 [/SUP]If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Question...
What is the significance of a drink offering that accompanies a sacrifice?

And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, even a pillar of stone: and he poured a drink offering thereon, and he poured oil thereon. (Genesis 35:14)

I cheated and used the internet for you. Hah!

Course you should prove everything by Him that was shared at that site some things have been shared that went beyond your question, even though they have given scriptural references.

So let me know when the Lord confirms that answer for you as correct at that site or not. You do not have to confirm everything shared beyond your question nor do you have to confirm that there are no errors at that site on any other topic. You can stick to the confines of your question to confirm by Him if that site answered your question or not.

Question: Is heaven a physical place where people will have bodies? Or is heaven a spiritual place where there are spirits only, and no bodies?

Question: Is heaven a physical place where people will have bodies? Or is heaven a spiritual place where there are spirits only, and no bodies?
Jesus has risen from the dead in a glorified celestial body that can never die; so there is a physical body in that sense where He ate some food after His resurrection and the disciples felt His wounds from the crucifixion.

There is a Marriage Supper where there is some eating and drinking involved there.

Matthew 26:[SUP]27 [/SUP]And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;[SUP]28 [/SUP]For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.[SUP]29 [/SUP]But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

Even before His incarnation, the Son of God did eat and drank then too when He had visited Abraham that day.

Genesis 18:1And the Lord appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;[SUP]2 [/SUP]And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,[SUP]3 [/SUP]And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:[SUP]4 [/SUP]Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:[SUP]5 [/SUP]And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.

But those of the firstfruits of the resurrection will not marry nor can die any more but be liken unto the angels in that way, even though it is written that the firstfruits will be made higher than the angels at that time. I hope in Him that He is keeping me worthy for that resurrection.

Luke 20:[SUP]35 [/SUP]But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:[SUP]36 [/SUP]Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

Romans 8:23 waiting for the redemption of our body
1 Corinthians 51-54 the bodies of the dead in Christ will be changed to incorruptible and immortal

To me it's sounds like perfect bodies created in His image...who is He? The great I am...Christ Jesus.

why doesn't god end the lives of pedophiles
He does.

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.

However, He also is merciful.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

We need to remember that while the consequences of sin differ, the judgment is the same: death; and there is only one way to redemption: through Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[SUP][a][/SUP] Christ Jesus our Lord.

We each do well to remember that "my" sin is what separates "me" from God. God will deal with the other person, whether a pedophile, adulterer, mass murderer, liar, or whatever. The parable of the unmerciful servant (Matthew 18:21-35) addresses this. We do well to commit final judgment to God, and to walk in forgiveness and healing by the grace of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.

That's a tough one. We all would love to see these vile persons terminated immediately, even before they start their atrocities.
Do not ever think you are better than somebody else.

If you are for termination before even any evil deed is done, you would die too, immediatelly.
