Good post praise GOD! HE lighteth every man that cometh into the world. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.
Rom 1:18-20

Let's take a look at the Written Word. Revelation and the Gift of the Gospel.....

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Rev 12:17

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Rev 14:12

And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Rev 19:10

We keep the commandments of God through the faith in which we have, which is the Faith in which Jesus has. That GOD through us does HIS will. This is our Testimony which HIS Testimony, the witness of Jesus through God's indwelling Spirit; the Spirit of prophecy. This was His Testimony; This is Faith!

For we and our Father GOD are one through the Body of Christ, the Temple of God. It is he that worketh in us both to will and do His good pleasure. He doeth the work and will lead us into all truth. This is the Spirit of Prophesy working in and through us. This is what we keep Guard with our very lives.

This is the Gospel; This is why John and Paul through the Holy Spirit shared this.

But ye have an unction (Anointing in the Greek) from the Holy One, and ye know all things. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. The anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 1 John 2:20, 26-27; Rom 1:17

And why Jeremiah, Moses and Paul prophesied.

Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ, the Word, all that GOD would have us be. HIS Commandments down from above: ) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ, the Word, all that GOD would have us be. HIS Commandments again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word (Christ; the Word, the commandments manifested in the flesh, Our flesh) is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, in thy heart, and in thy hand: that we may do it; this is, THE WORD OF FAITH IN WHICH WE PREACH.
And that is the Gospel, the Kingdom of GOD within you. For GOD hath said, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them." And HE shall be our GOD and we shall be HIS people, for it is GOD that works in us both to will and do HIS good pleasure. Christ (the Word, His Commandments, GOD's will ) in you the hope of Glory

Romans 10:6-8 and Deut. 30:11-14 are speaking the same premise as of that which is found in Hebrews 8:10,11 and Jeremiah 31:33. It is just worded different. The Gospel, the New Covenant theme is interwoven throughout the Holy Writ; written various ways.

His Spirit, the Spirit of truth, will guide us into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew us things to come. John 16:13

Each and every believer through the Faith that is through the Gospel of God have a direct link with the Father through His Christ and can and will prophesy through Word and action Our lives depend on it.

Amen! As I think you have alluded to. Romans 7:23, 25 are referring to an acknowledgement to one’s understanding. Paul says he gets it. His intellect understands and his mind is a slave to it because the knowledge is there, but this knowledge does not help him gain victory over the sin in his flesh. This can only be done by us by following the Spirit through HIS will and power. Not I but Christ. For we are dead nevertheless we live, but not us; but Christ liveth in us. And the life we now live in the flesh we live by the Faith, the Word, the Testimony of Christ who gave himself for us.
Beautiful LB,

I would only add that Jesus, the OT and the Apostles in the NT warned over and over about being deceived. I believe it is a big mistake to take God's Grace for granted. (No at all saying that you do, this in no way is directed to you, please don't take this part of my reply as directed towards you, rather towards me)

If having Faith in Jesus was the end of it, then there would no longer be any fear of deception. But Jesus and His Apostles warned over and over about being "Beguiled", "Bewitched" "deceived".

For me this means I have to "Take Heed" and know that if I am a true believer, satan is coming after me and God has given it power to over come me if I don't pay attention.

For this reason I am to "Test the Spirits".

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Col. 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

1 Tim. 4:13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

James says it like this.

Jam. 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Isn't this what 1 John 2:3 just said?

23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

Natural face is our carnal self, yes? An enemy of God.

24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

I think the reason why we are warned so much is because the false religions, and our carnal self,(pride, rebellion, tradition, hatred) are going to be here until the end. We will always have to be on guard and use the weapons of warfare Jesus created for us. But those who endure to the end shall be saved.

Judges 2:20 And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice;

21 I also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which Joshua left when he died:

22 That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not.

Thank you for your thoughtful and spirit filled reply :)

Thanks for the website and the reply. I personally tend to avoid the teachings of organized religions who transgress the commandments of God by their man made traditions and doctrines. No offence to you if you want to rest your belief on them.
All of my Christian beliefs are firmly anchored upon the Bible; and unlike the beliefs that you express in your posts, the accuracy of my beliefs is documented by the writings of biblical scholars throughout the history of the Church!

I replied because I have never heard this one, that Paul is somehow addressing a secret sect of believers who were not following man made traditions and doctrines, but were actually trying to obey God with all their might.
You have never heard it before because it nothing but a misrepresentation of what I posted.

You have never heard it before because it nothing but a misrepresentation of what I posted.
The Mainstream preachers of Christ's time taught traditions and doctrines that transgressed the Commandments of God by their own traditions for centuries. I don't believe just because the Pope or some other great religious mind says something, it is truth. Certainly since Jesus warned about those who "Come in His Name" to deceive.

If I have read your post wrong, if you aren't talking about Jews who believe in Jesus, but are trying to follow God's Laws with all their might, then I apologies. That did seem to me like the point of the sermon you posted.

Let me re-read your post and see where I got it wrong.

His conclusion

1. With the mind he will serve God
2. With the flesh he will serve sin.
If he was serving the flesh; Christ Jesus did not make him free from the law of sin and death as he witnessed in Rom 8:2.

And if that be the case, he was still walking after the flesh not the Spirit. Therefore in condemnation as Rom 8:1 shares.

Yes nice discussion I love those two chapters of Romans 7 and 8. They need to be read together this is highlighting the importance and job of God's Law (10 commandments) and how they lead the sinner to the Savior.
Indeed! How else would one know what serving or mind you walking after the flesh was?

The false Gospel is one that tries to separate God's Law from salvation. It is the Laws job to bring us to the Word as our Savior (Jesus; John 1:29) so we can be saved by faith and this is how we are to continue and walk. As you have received Christ Jesus the Lord so walk ye in him....
Christ; the Word; the Commandments in us, the Hope of Glory; GOD!

Did a word study of the Greek and Hebrew words translated grace a while ago. This is what was found.

Grace in the Hebrew is "חן" and it is pronounced khane. Subjectively it means to find favor in the eyes of someone. To be acceptable to them; to find or receive grace, kindness, favor, goodwill.
Objectively it means form or appearance; beauty, gracefulness.

Khane is from חנן and is pronounced khaw-nan’ Properly it means to bend or stoop in kindness to an inferior. To be inclined towards , yearn towards, long for, be merciful, compassionate, favorable. Causatively it means to implore; move to favor by petition. It is recommended to Compare the kindred word חנה pronounced hana. Properly this word means, to incline towards, reach; by implication to decline. Specifically to pitch a tent. Generally to encamp. To set oneself down. To inhabit.

Now lets look at the Greek word for God's grace χάρις , pronounce charis. In the objective sense it means, outward grace or favor, beauty. Properly of persons or their portraits. In the subjective sense it is , grace or favor felt, whether on the part of the doer or the receiver. Graciousness (as gratifying ), of manner or act. Strong felt moved to pen in his lexicon that charis is, "the especially the Divine influence on the heart, and it’s reflection in the life; including gratitude."

Charis is from χαίρω and it is pronounced chairo. It means rejoice be glad, be cheerful; calmly happy or well off.

So what is God's grace?

It is His kindness, His favor, His Goodwill, His inclining toward us.
His yearning, His longing compassionate imploring for us to encamp. To abode, to set ourselves down with Him and He with us. It is His Beauty, His appearance, His image and likeness, His joy in us for Sanctification, which is only found in Him through the Gospel. The Kingdom of God; Christ in us, the Hope of Glory.

GOD'S GRACE is the GOSPEL!

Herein is my Father glorified, that we bear much fruit through this Sanctification. So Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ, gracing us with HIS presence, the Word, all that GOD would have us be. HIS Commandments down from above) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ, the Word, all that GOD would have us be. HIS Commandments again from the dead.) But what saith it? What do you think of this?

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Under the Law means dead, Jesus sacrifice(Grace) removed this death, therefore we are not under death, but under life.

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
Gal. 3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

"Thou Shall Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul" is not a "Work of the Law", rather, the Law of Faith. These "Works of the Law" are what the Jews were still pushing for remission of sins. they taught man could not be saved without these "Works" (See Acts)

Hebrews 7:18-19
18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
Heb. 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

What Law? The Levitical Priesthood!!!

13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.

The Law of Faith or the 10 Commandments did not make men priests after Moses. The Levitical Priesthood "made priests". The Levitical Priesthood is the "Carnal Commandment". Paul called God's Commandments "Good" Just, Spiritual and Holy.

This is clearly speaking about the specific Laws given to the TRIBE of Levi.

17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Still talking about the Priesthood.

18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.

Still speaking of the Levitical Priesthood.

19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

Still speaking of the Levitical Priesthood that Paul said was "ADDED" till the Seed should come.

Hebrews is not speaking about God's entire Law structure, rather, the Priesthood that was changed.

Hi Grandpa!
May I ask, do you have many grandchildren? I have two. They are as my own. A true blessing and privilege.

You have asked a lot with those three passages. Will have to do this n three separate posts. Let's start Galatians.
What do you think of this?

...Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them....

It is of the Faith now not the the letter.

The Spirit saith in Gal 2:16....Knowing that a man is not made righteous by works of law, but that it is through the faith of Jesus Christ….

The verse says, "Faith of Jesus Christ".

For God It was never about doing the written law. His intent in us has always been the Faith that worketh love and that is by love. As HE is so are we to be in this world through Christ.

The following text show the connection between the Old Testament and New. The verses in Romans 10:6-8; Deut. 30:11-14 ; Hebrews 8:10,11; Jeremiah 31:33 are all speaking of GOD's gift of enabling us through HIS Spirit to be as HE would have us be. Please notice that this gift which is the Good News; the Gospel was availed to us from the beginning of Moses ministry if not even from the time of the fall in Eden. If Enoch walk with GOD he walked though GOD to do it. Romans paraphrasing the text found in Deut. Prove this. So once again we share; walk in the Faith.

For GOD has said, "Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (That is, to bring Christ, the Word, all that GOD would have us be. HIS Commandments down from above Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (That is, to bring up Christ, the Word, all that GOD would have us be. HIS Commandments; HIS Statutes again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word (Christ; the Word, the commandments; HIS Statutes manifested in the flesh, our flesh through His flesh) is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, in thy heart, and in thy hand: that we may do it; that is, THE WORD OF FAITH, which we preach. And that is the Gospel, the Kingdom of GOD (CHRIST) in you. For GOD hath said, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them." And HE shall be our GOD and we shall be HIS people, for it is GOD that works in us both to will and do HIS good pleasure. Christ (the Word, His Commandments, GOD's will) in us the hope of Glory. For without this faith (the Word; HIS Christ; His Commandments; HIS statutes in our hearts and in our minds) it is impossible to please GOD.

Please notice the connections that are being made in the text above. Christ, the Word, all that GOD would have us be; HIS Commandments are inter changeable in the text above. And mind you this work in our hearts is the Gospel and is the word of faith in which we speak. This theme is found throughout the New Testament and it is what Galatians speaks.

As Gal. 2:16 speaks…Knowing that a man is not made righteous by works of law, but that it is through the faith of Jesus Christ (we also believed into Christ Jesus (as the BODY OF CHRIST), that we may be justified through the faith of Christ and not by works of law, because all flesh will not be justified by works of law).

The text says in the Greek “we also believed into Jesus”, (The Body of Christ the Temple of GOD) not in Jesus. Also note if you will it is through the faith of Jesus not by the faith of Jesus. That is why Galatians goes on to say, “For I, through law, died to law, that I should be living to God." With Christ have I been crucified, yet I am living; no longer I, but living in me is Christ (Christ; the Word, the Commandments; HIS Statutes manifested in the flesh, our flesh). Now that which I am now living in flesh, I am living in the faith that is of the Son of God, Who loves me, and gives Himself up for me." (Gal 2:19-20)

Why the Law then? It was added because of transgressions, until the Seed (The Faith, Christ’s; the Word, the Commandments manifested in the flesh, our flesh) should come, to whom it had been promised. But before Faith (Christ’s) came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the Faith (Christ’s) which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster (Law in general; the Pentateuch and all that is entailed, which would include the Decalogue; the Ten Commandments, the Statutes;etc...). to bring us unto Christ, that we might be made righteous out of faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster ( the Law in general; the Pentateuch and all that is entailed, which would include the Decalogue; the Ten Commandments). Knowing this, that law is not laid down for a righteous one, but for lawless and undisciplined ones, for ungodly and sinful ones, for unholy and profane ones. T

Which we are not through GOD IF Christ; the Word, the Commandments is manifested in the flesh, our flesh. The work GOD has done to our hearts and minds worked its work of Faith. Christ in us the Hope of GLORY; GOD. We become through Christ what the Schoolmaster was trying to teach us to do.

As Galatians wrote, “we also believed into Christ Jesus, that we may be justified (made or rendered righteous) through the faith of Christ and not by works of law, because all flesh will not be justified (made or rendered righteous) by works of law). Be not deceived though; he that doeth righteousness is righteous even as He is righteous.

"Even as" is a direct comparison. How Jesus righteous? By being righteous THROUGH GOD'S INDWELLING SPIRIT. HE DOETH THE WORK. For as many of us which have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Which is how the Faith, Christ; the Word, the Commandments manifested in the flesh, our flesh; our hearts and minds so that our hands and mouths work the work.

So Illuminated; for we have been enlighten to be the epistle of Christ (enabled body ministers).... written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; for it is He that worketh in us both to will and do HIS good pleasure. For HE who hath made us able ministers of the New Testament; not of the letter, but of the Spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, WAS glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance (illumination); which glory was to be done away: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

Because that which is written and engraved in our hearts and minds so that we do it, manifests the Glory of GOD. For it is HE that works in us both to will and do HIS good pleasure. No longer is there to be a need for that which was engraved in stone because that which was therein and more has been placed in our hearts and minds. We are the new Ark of the New Covenant of GOD; HIS Church, the Body of Christ His Temple through Christ. For as He is so are we in this world.

Lord we believe, help our unbelief. For you have given us all things that pertain to life and godliness.

It is of the Faith now not the the letter.

The Spirit saith in Gal 2:16....Knowing that a man is not made righteous by works of law, but that it is through the faith of Jesus Christ….

The verse says, "Faith of Jesus Christ".

The letter, as the perfect law of God, the whole Bible,(no theories of men) or scripture (what the eyes see and ears hear naturally) always kills....in order to protect the unseen hidden glory of God, as the face of God..

It’s what leads us who were dead in trespasses and sin without God to the living faith of Christ. The faith of Christ is always which leads giving us the spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the church .And not what the church is saying in response, the many private interpretation as personal commentaries of men

Many men turn that upside down and make it into a human qualifier, by walking by sight. It takes away the unseen understanding of God.rendering it to no effect. (can't serve two masters)

Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding? Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest? And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. Isa 29:16

By faith a labor of His love as he works to apply it to ones heart is how he saved the Old testament saints .This is even before the new testament was written .

What do you think of this?
...Galatians 3:10
For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them....

You have asked a lot with those three passages. Will have to do this n three separate posts. Let's start Galatians. It is of the Faith, now not the the letter.
For without this faith (the Word; HIS Christ; His Commandments; HIS statutes in our hearts and in our minds)
it is impossible to please GOD.
For if after we have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. (1Pe 2:24; 2Pe 2:20)
Those who are truly born of God have received a new nature, a divine nature, and they have new and different appetites and desires. They have been transformed from pigs and dogs into sheep. The change is more than just cosmetic, as in 2 Peter 2:20. *These cleaned up on the outside dogs and pigs were never sheep.

Compare 2 Peter 1:4 - "partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption - Strongs #5356 that is in the world through lust with 2 Peter 2:20 - with they escaped the pollutions - Strongs #3356 (different Greek word) of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, yet they are again entangled therein, and overcome. *Notice that 2 Peter 2:20 did not mention them being "partakers of the divine nature.

Corruption (Strongs #5356) (to shrivel or wither, spoil , ruin , deprave, corrupt , defile, to destroy by means of corrupting, to spoil as does milk). Corruption - describes decomposition or rotting of an organism and the accompanying stench. The utter depravity of the fallen flesh and the resultant moral decomposition of the world opposed to God is driven by it sinful lusts or evil desires. Internal corruption.

Pollutions/Defilements (Strongs #3393) ("pollutions", "filthy things", "contaminations", "world's filth") describes the state of being tainted or stained by evil and refers to impurity, impure, tainted, defilement, foulness or pollution. Pollutions/Defilement refers to what is on the outside (2 Peter 2:20). But genuine believers have escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:4).

Corruption is deeper than pollutions/defilements on the outside: it is decay on the inside.

Having the knowledge of Jesus Christ does not save a person if there is no heart submission to that knowledge. The latter end is worse than the beginning for these men because rejecting this knowledge will make them more accountable at the judgment.

Please notice in that there in only no condemnation if we are walking in the Spirit and that Jesus condemned sin; taking it away; nailing it to the cross that the righteousness be fulfilled (completely filled ) in us.
How about a little Context...

Romans 8:1-11: "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you"

Those who "walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit" is descriptive language of those who are in Christ. Believers walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit, because they are in Christ.

There is confusion in the mind of legalists and judaizers as to what is the letter and what is the Spirit.

What is the letter and what is the Word.

There is no un-doing this confusion by explaining. Only faith in Christ can un-do the confusion.

The legalist and judaizer have been led away with the error of the wicked. Which is following the law in their own understanding thinking they are doing Gods Will.

2 Corinthians 3:7-9
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

If it is the commandments that are written on a Christians Heart, as the legalist and judaizer wrongly surmise, then Death and Condemnation have been permanently written there.

But what does the bible say??

Romans 8:1-2

1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

So if death and condemnation of the 10 commandments is not written on our hearts, then it is not Gods Law. Gods Law must be something other than death and condemnation.

I'll show you what is written on our hearts when we abide in Christ, by faith.

Galatians 5:22-23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

This is not something can be worked at and accomplished. This is a gift that is given by God. We are given this by Grace through Faith, not of works lest any legalist or judaizer boast.

If there is anything to boast in it is boasting in the Power of the Gospel and abiding in Christ, resting in Him.

Great post friend! Praise GOD!
Never Sheep though? I have to look at this a bit more. Probably won't get to posting on it today. But I wanted to thank you publicly for your post. It is a nice addition to this study!
