Look what your saying trofimus at such a young age. If a person (a lurker perhaps) came here and read what joaniemarie stated would they surmise that what she said was unbiblical because she followed derick prince? I do not know joaniemarie but I do know who you are and I have read a lot of your post.

What did the Preacher say in Ecclesiastes? He said there is a season or a time and place for everything. What does joanies' words with your vast wisdom at the ripe old age of 33 have to do with her following prince? To be sure I have even spoken out on these boards that prince (in my opinion) is a false teacher.

However, here is what you don't know trofimus and it can be found at Philippians 1:18. and specfically at vs18. Let me give you some context first. Paul wrote this letter while in prison in Rome. The Philippian Church hear about Paul's improsonment and they wanted to know how things were going with him.

Now look what Paul says starting at vs15, "Some to be sure, are preaching Christ even from envy and strife, but some also from good will; (you can put joanie's name here). vs16, the latter do it out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel; (you can put Jude 3 here). Vs17, the former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition, rather than from pure motives, thinking to cause distress in my imprisonment. Vs18, WHAT THEN? ONLY THAT IN EVERY WAY, WHETHER IN PRETENSE OR IN TRUTH, CHRIST IS PROCLAIMED, AND IN THIS I REJOICE, YES AND I WILL REJOICE."

The point being, what does it matter? This does not mean Paul is condoning preaching from false motives, but he knew the hears could be saved when Christ is preached regardless. In other words, false ministerial movtives cannot cancel the truth of the gospel as the power of God unto salvation. So trofimus, use some discernment and learn to know when to press/push or just back off and leave things alone.

IN GOD THE SON,

Pssst, Joseph Prince, not Derrick. (Albeit, I'd wonder the same thing in both cases.)

Hi Joanie,
Borrowed some of your words, to say what I see in the Word, hope it's not upsetting for you please let me know.
"Now we see dimly, but then face to face." We shall see Him as He is for we shall be like Him."

"Whoever is born of God does not commit sin; His seed [Identity Word] remains in Him: and He cannot sin, because He is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the enemy: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother."

Our old identify became sin in the fall.
Since then, "He became sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him."
“Now if I do what I would not, it's no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me.”
We are no longer sinners we are sons: sin we still have in these bodies to walk out our faith. Walking out who we are IN Christ, as we allow the Holy Spirit to lead us to walk according to the Spirit and not according to the flesh. His Love is in us, for us to learn of Him, to walk it out each day. It's why He told us, "It's better for you that I go away, for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come to you, but if I depart, I will send Him to you." We learn as we Go in His Name [Identity], to work out what Christ works in us. "Come and learn of Me for I am Meek [tamed as a friend] and Humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls." As we submit to God, "It is no longer I that lives but Christ," Having exchanged our life with Him, who exchanged identity with us and took our blame. "Submit to God, resist the enemy and he will have to flee." By knowing the truth that sets us free, we have an Advocate with the Father who has totally paid the Way for us. And so we bear the cross that ends our old life with Him and come boldly to the throne of grace to find grace to help in time of need.
