O how Satan loves to blend his counterfeit gospel in to the truth. How he loves to take away the spotlight from Christ to him. How he loves to scar and Marr the lords servants. How he loves to cause division among the beleivers.

When you mention Billy Gram the only association you have with that name is Christ Jesus. Ask anyone what Mr Gram did and they will tell you preach the cross. More importantly If you asked how did he live they would answer "as a servant of the Lord'.
What can be siad of you?

It is true that not everyone that says
Lord Lord will enter in. Mr. Gram did more than say he was a doer.

Be ye doers of the word and not a hearer only deceiving your ownselves.

No one on this Earth could have so much commitment, or compassion, or conviction, unless the Lord was with him and in him.

Brother you are right when you say it is "sad is we have made ourselves Judge." You yourself have made a judgement in calling others, "Judge."

For myself I will let the Word of the Lord judge him by the words he spoke from his own mouth. The diea that there are people that have never known the name of Jesus being saved is not what the Word of the Lord says. The saddest part are many have made the man something that he is not, he was a man just like all of us, as I mentioned my hope is that he repented from his universalism, at lest he was true to his doctrine that man can chose God by his own will.

That salvation is synergistic and not monergistic, in other words that man's chose is what causes us to be born again and it is not God's as stated in James 1:18
“Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” and I Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”

Acts 2:21 “And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’”

Romans 10:13 “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

I Corinthians 6:10 “And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

Acts 4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Really?????????
The nerve of him, preaching the gospel to everyone

Telling them the good news about a merciful God who loved them enough to send His Son.

A beautiful Savior who paid the price for our sin...

It's amazing, really.

If you bring up the videos on the internet, or the fact that he was a freemason, which I really know nothing about....because it's a secret fraternal order with TONS of conflicting rumors regarding what it's really about.....from faceless former members on the internetz

"Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets." (Luke 6:26)

I'm also one of those few here who believe Billy was a wolf in sheep's clothing. He devoted his life to ecumenicalism, and aligned himself with false teachers and religions. When leaders of all faiths praise you, that's a huge red flag. Because the true gospel of Christ is offensive to the lost world (1 Peter 2:7-8, 1 Corinthians 1:18, Proverbs 29:27).

I'm posting this short video by Dave Hunt for those with an open mind:

Sir, I'm happy your wife was saved, but just to be clear, no one "deserves" a place in heaven.

Amen, and so does everyone else imo, even if they had to go to go through a bit of hell, Not just billy graham had died today, but so did many other people...

That is great to know that some of Bill Graham preaching impacted your wifes life. That is awesome, and praise God for that.

As believers 2 Corinthians 3:2 : The only letter of recommendation we need is you yourselves. Your lives are a letter written in our hearts; everyone can read it and recognize our good work among you.

We are walking letters who can share with others God, and Jesus Christ. In the best way we can by the holy spirit by remembering what God has allowed us to know by being able to read His written Word, and learn about the Truth in Jesus Christ.

“I have a tremendous amount of hope, because I’m a believer in Jesus Christ, who was raised from the dead. And I believe he’s alive right now. My wife is already in heaven, I look forward to seeing her, definitely, in the near future, because I’m 92 now and I know that my time is limited on this earth. But I have tremendous hope in the fact that I’ll be in the future life, and I’ll be there based on what Jesus Christ did for me on the cross and by the resurrection. This gives me a great deal of hope.”

Graham also reflected on what he would do differently in his life, if he had a second chance. “I would study more, I would pray more, travel less, take less speaking engagements,” he said. “I took too many of them in too many places around the world. If I had to do it over again, I’d spend more time in meditation and prayer and just telling the Lord how much I love him and adore him and I’m looking forward to the time we’re going to spend together for eternity.”

When I think of Billy I think of the demeanor of Christ: Respectful, kind, compassionate and authoritatively expectant towards the Father's will. He will be missed, but I am rejoicing - this is what we can all do at our moment of death, as we are in Christ.

It saddens me when I see Christians bring down one of their own - most especially a true man of God such as Billy Graham. I'm sure Mr Graham would be the first to admit that he was an imperfect man and that he regrets certain things he has or hasn't done but there surely can be no doubt where his heart was. Billy's name is synonymous with the Gospel of Christ and so many people being saved because of the way he preached it...it must run into millions. Billy was just an ordinary man, not your average TV evangelist with big houses, flash cars and shed-loads of $'s. Show me a Christian who hasn't made mistakes or one who had everything Biblically correct in his/her lifetime and I will show you a liar. Oh how Satan must laugh when children of God squabble amongst themselves over the finer details of another's faith.

I have no doubt in my mind that Billy has heard the words; "well done my good and faithful servant". Our loss is Heaven's gain as Billy takes up his place prepared beforehand by The Lord. Amen.

Billy sent Catholics hungry for truth, who attended his crusades, back to their Catholic Churches. He praised the Pope, calling him a "Christian", and boasted that John Paul II said that he and Billy were "brothers".

He even said he supported abortion in cases of rape.

Forward to 11:40.

Sending people into the Catholic faith will certainly cause them to be damned. Saying abortion was okay in cases of rape is supporting the murder of an innocent baby.

Those are more than little "mistakes".

It seems that some Christians have a default mode of suspicion about all preachers & teachers associated in any way with television.
I watched Fox News last night at 11:00 PM and they talked about him. In 1989 he was given a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. Many worldly ppl were there. Why? He looked around all of them and said he could not condemn any of them, as they were all sinners. Now you know why he was loved by the world. Those who are lost, are already condemned. They stand outside of the Christ.

Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.[1 John 2:15-17]

I'm reminded of when Jerry Falwell died, and lots of people rejoiced over it. Many people from other faiths seemed gleeful that he was gone.

But with Billy, he's being praised by people from nearly every religion.

That is a bad, bad sign.

In the Dave Hunt video, I have no problem with Billy Graham being close friends of the pope and rabbi. But when he said there wasn’t much difference with his and pope’s views and sought counsel from a rabbi, well, that’s just flat out wrong.

Abortion is ok in cases of rape. Rape is a violent crime.

You wouldn't say this sister if you heard the young man who was the product of a rape, speak at a crises pregnancy center event I attended.

As horrific as rape is, the only valid question must be whether the unborn child is a human being. I don't have any issue with castrating the rapist and throwing him in prison, but it isn't the child's fault.
