The honest truth......the bible has one truth concerning everything and will lead ALL to the same conclusion....if there is division then someone is or both are wrong.....

1 biblical salvation <--either eternal or losable
1 biblical gospel of salvation <--not 2, 3 or 10
1 biblical form of baptism <--not 2, 3 or more
1 biblical truth of what a church is <--not 2, 3 or more

etc......It will lead all honest people to the same conclusions......regardless of those who disagree...........God is not the author of confusion and the bible tells us to not be removed from the simplicity that is found in Christ!

true, i have held the though that if the finished work of the cross was not enough to 1) salvation was complete (no works needed) and 2) salvation was eternal.

any thought against that to me is a view of a small God/Christ

AMEN....the list of failures on the part of Christ that must occur (his power, promises, sacrifice, his word, etc.) for salvation to be forfeited, lost, taken away goes beyond negating the word of GOD into the realm of a weak, inept, false god that has no power, cannot keep his word, fulfill his promises and is not worthy of any adoration and or worship.....

OBVIOUSLY I FULLY BELIEVE that JESUS is GOD, all powerful, truthful, fully capable, honest, never lies, keeps his word, keeps his promises and exactly why I believe 100% in the security of the believer.

Kind of like Psalm 119 which is an acrostic Psalm....each 8 verses in successive order start with a letter of the Hebrew Alphabet.....each being a step or progression in the reasons for man's existence and how it leads a man/men to a fully mature walk with the God of heaven........

No works are needed to be justified. What is needed is believing. The requirement for believing doesn't make God and the cross weak and incomplete and inept. Believing is how we access the strength and completeness and all sufficiency of God and the cross.

Just keep believing/trusting in Christ. That's all you have to know and remember.

As long as the word abides in you, you will abide in Christ:

24As for you, let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father."-1 John 2:24

If me saying what John says above makes God weak and inept.........well........so be it then, I guess.

No one loses salvation...how can one immediately with joy receive the word and then lose salvation......?
By not retaining what they heard. Jesus says the person who does that does so because of trouble and tribulation associated with the word. The person who does not continue in and retain the word will not continue in and retain the Son.

AMEN..................because JESUS began it, finishes it and perfects or completes it.........unlike Ralph who must help JESUS because his JESUS must be too weak or inept.....
If my believing through God's gift of faith is me helping a weak and inept Jesus to save me, then, so be it. But I have yet to see in scripture where believing and trusting in Christ is me trying to earn my own salvation because God is too weak to do it on his own. Can you show us this scripture that says my believing/trusting is me trying to fill in where I think God has failed?

I should also add OSAS is a little illogical you can loss your salvation, it is just highly unlikely that you will take the necessary steps to do so.
Yes,once the person has been saved they are GOD's workmanship created In CHRIST unto good works.
and remember Grace doesn't teach a person to live unGODly.

I would say be obedient to faith or another way I would say this Is believe the WORD of GOD that was sent to this earth manifested In flesh once, and salvation Is secure then the person would just naturally continue to believe without effort and just thankful to GOD.
