"But God has a way to make people right with him without the law, and he has now shown us that way which the law and the prophets told us about. God makes people right with himself through their faith in Jesus Christ. This is true for all who believe in Christ, because all people are the same: Everyone has sinned and fallen short of God’s glorious standard, and all need to be made right with God by his grace, which is a free gift. They need to be made free from sin through Jesus Christ." -Romans 3:21-24

OK, so I really, truly honestly believe the biggest false doctrine in the church today is that you can "fall out of forgiveness." You can fall out of grace, but not forgiveness... ALL sins we're forgiven 2,000 years ago, on the cross. Don't believe me? Here are a few verses:

"For Christ also suffered ONCE for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit." -1 Peter 3:18

"So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him." -Hebrews 9:28

EITHER HIS BLOOD COVERS EVERY SIN OR IT DOESN'T! & God no longer sees your sins, Christian or non-Christian! Sin is not a behavior problem. It's an issue of faith. If you are placing your faith in Jesus, then your sinful nature has died with Christ, and you are a new creation.

So, yes.. Lady Gaga's sins are forgiven.
Lil' Wayne's sins are forgiven. Marilyn Manson's, Hitler's, Kony's... the drug dealers down the road from you. Does that forgiveness benefit them anything if they haven't accepted Christ, truly? No. Not one bit. But the Good News is, all God sees is their unbelief.

Christ warned many would fall away from the Good News.

"If you try to be made right with God through the law, your life with Christ is over—you have left God’s grace. But we have the true hope that comes from being made right with God, and by the Spirit we wait eagerly for this hope." -Galatians 5:4-5

We are DEAD to the law!!!

"Sin was in the world before the law of Moses, but sin is not counted against us as breaking a command when there is no law." -Romans 5:13

You see where I'm going here? YOU ARE COMPLETELY FORGIVEN! YOU DO NOT FALL OUT OF FORGIVENESS!

When you are a believer God does not impute your sins to you

Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Does this apply to the non-Christian? No, and why? You have to believe.

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Does God become blind to our sins after we believe? No, God isnt blind to anything. Our sins, even after being saved, still grieve God.

Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Eph 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

The only sin that automatically condemns is, well blasphemy, which is rare, but unbelief, all sin is, is a sign of the person unbelief. God doesn't see their sin, he see's their unbelief. and you're right, He isn't blind to them, but He doesn't hold anyone against those, if anyone goes to Hell, it won't be because of their sins, it will be because they haven't accepted Christ, OR they blasphemed.

It will be because of their sins and because they didnt accept Christ and have those sins forgiven. Some well receive "greater damnation" because some have committed "greater" sins. So i dont know if its completely true to say that God only sees the sin of unbelief.

Joh 19:11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

Mat 23:14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

Mat 10:15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Luk 10:14 But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.

You saying what Jesus said is not true? If God only sees the sin of unbelief then how do some receive greater damnation? How is it more tolerable for some in the day of judgment than for others? What you are saying just isnt consistent with scripture.

It's having a sin nature that sends you to hell.. To say your individual sins will send ya to Hell voids the whole reason Christ died. We are saved by grace THROUGH faith.

The cross was the place that all of man's sins were placed paid for through the shed blood and were satisfied through Christ's death. God was in Christ not imputing sin unto the world but rather imputing sin unto His Son, He became guilty by becoming sin and suffered death because of our sin and expiated our sin once and for all. A sinner is not forgiven of the sin that Christ paid for and put away until they believe upon the Son. Then through faith in the Son they are forgiven and cleansed from all sin. It would not be possible to forgive all sin unless they have been dealt with and put away first. This is why repentance of sin is not needed for salvation. We believe in Christ and the work of the cross that expiated ALL sin, once and for ALL through death and the shed blood. Jesus took our place on the cross and suffered death, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God.

We must go out and tell the Lady Gaga's of the world what Christ has done for them by putting away their sin through His death. burial and resurrection and allow the Holy Spirit to convict their heart and turn them to Christ for salvation and redemption, the forgiveness and cleansing of ALL sin. God puts away the sin, so we can come to Him by faith and be cleansed and justified freely through Christ. God takes the sin away so that we can be reconciled unto Him positionally and experientially by faith. When we are reconciled to God nd justified by the blood of Christ, we can stand up and proclaim that, 'I am no longer my sin for I have been washed by the blood and my sins that were like scarlet crimson have been made white as snow.'

I'm saying this...when you accept Jesus Christ, ALL of your sins are forgiven. When you dont accept him, you are gonna have to answer for your sins, and the worse the sins, the worse the damnation.

I agree. EXCEPT they're already forgiven. But that forgiveness benefits nothing if you don't live for Jesus.

Yes, all sins are indeed forgiven however, the one thing so many in the church today overlook is that Jesus gave his life to destroy the power of sin in the life of those who place their faith in Him thus true believers should no longer be slaves to sin. Those who believe that a person can continue on in sin after salvation, that God now ignores sin, have completely missed to point as to why Jesus came.

Ephesians 4: 29 - 31 states:

"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice."

Basically what the Apostle Paul is saying here is that as believers, we should have no part of sin because it only serves to cause tremendous problems in our lives and in the lives of others. Sin also grieves the indwelling Holy Spirit because it is through Him that God has given us the means to overcome the sin in our lives. When we are saved, we are now a new creation in Christ and now possess a new purpose - a new destiny - in Christ but before we can truly walk in that destiny, we must abandon our old lives. When we continue on with sin after salvation, we have chosen to elevate our own selfish desires and ambitions over the new life that God has prepared for us which places our love for Him and the needs of others above our own selfishness.

It is my humble hope and prayer that you will begin to understand why sin is still a big deal to God after salvation and why repentance is still a part of our lives. You are young man and I have no doubt that God's plan for you is to touch the lives of many. You owe it to both God and those you encounter to be sure that the Gospel you are preaching is the gospel truth and not a gospel of compromise. So bro, I encourage you to dig deep in the word, put all preconceived notions aside and ask God to show you the real truth then apply it to your daily walk with the Lord. Once you walk in the fulness of it, God will take you places and you will preach to people that you would have never imagined.

When born again/renewed there is the action of being made right with God instantly, of course this comes with the renewal of your heart, Faith and repentance, this is being justified before our Sovereign Lord. However, as we strive to win the race and become more Christ like the more we realize how sinful we are, therefore in need of repentence for our sins are always before us.

To get to the answer yes our sins where paid for 2000 years ago,but repentance comes from a contrite heart. I believe that a repentant sinner living a renewed life will never lose his salvation, the work that Christ wrought for us 2000 years ago!

I whole heartedly agree that the truly saved are no longer sinners. However, if a professed believer is not walking in the liberty that only comes from walking in the Holy Spirit as mentioned in Romans 8, then it could argued scripturally that this really doesn't possess saving faith either.

There's a very fine line to be found in scriptures. Lean too far in one direction or the other and one could easily fall into dead religion.

Ezekiel 18:24
(24) But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
