Re: Sover"eignty of God and Moral Responsibility of Man

Perhaps you could point out the text which refers to "killing someone's soul" either in Scripture or in our legal system.
That by which you condemn another by, you yourself will also be condemned. Condemn not and you will not be condemned.

There is but One who sets upon a throne who will hand out sentences.

So, I ask again, is killing in the flesh any different than sending someone to hell by judging them unregenerated because they see faith coming from a willing heart?

But that's not what this tread is about is it?
This thread is as much about application as

the visit of the Magi,
the flight into Egypt,
the flogging by Pilate,
the crown of thorns,
the mocking by the soldier,
the rejection by unbelieving Israel,
the anointing for burial,
etc., etc., etc.

are about it.

Whatever are you talking about?

I didn't kill any Jews, and I'm not acquainted with anyone who did.

No, You just gave an excuse for the people who did.

Where are Christians killing Jews instead of loving them?
Do you see any love for them in here? I don;t And you going to deny they did it for hundreds of years??

Is that not the kind of sacrifice Christian missionaries make on the missionary field?

what giving up their eternal life so people can be saved? What does that have to do with what I said paul was willing to do for HIS people (Israel)

we are not talking about Missionaries.. why did you bring them up? can't you stick to what is being said?

I have never had a calvanist condemn me. they have always called me a brother,, as I call them brothers.. They tell me we just believe we get faith different, which I tell them..lol

But I am starting to see why people would think this. If faith is a work. All of us are having faith in our work (faith) for salvation. thus by definition, we would not be saved.

Interesting

The (unbelieving) Jewish killing and persecuting of The Lord's prophets, Apostles and disciples

The (unbelieving) Jewish Genocide of Armenian Christians

The (unbelieving) Jewish Bolshevik and Trotskyite slaughter of Russian Christians 20+ million

The (unbelieving) Jewish-Donmeh-Young Turk slaughter of Christians at Thessolonika

The (unbelieving) Jewish killing of untold numbers of gentiles in Palestine and regions they think God calls Amalek and have slated for exterminaton

The (unbelieving) Jewish establishment of Mao in China resulting in 55+ million deaths

The (unbelieving) Jewish Talmudic ruling that abortion is not murder, worked into Western Courts: 70+ million babies murdered

................

REFUTE ANY OF THAT.
start a new thread to do it.

sorry derailment Elin.

No, You just gave an excuse for the people who did.
No more than you gave an excuse for the doing in of Christians by unbelieving Jews in the first century.

Are you defending the illegal actions of those who rejected Christ?

What are you about here?

you going to deny they did it for hundreds of years??

can't you stick to what is being said?
Whatever is going on?

How did killing Jews get in here?

Are you looking to settle millennia-old accounts that have been in the Court of God for that long?

Are you trying to butt in on God's business?

Do you believe in the forgiveness Jesus taught: forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us?

What would you say if someone directly said you were 'unregenerated' because I mentioned that we have a will?

Unregenerated = not born again as a child of God, etc.................

Are they in the Bible? :)

Just had to say that.

But no, I have not.

Why do you ask?

I asked because of the response you gave as to whether we should thank God for everything as it all pre ordained.

didn't someone once say that you were not a brother because you were pro-Kingdom? If they believe they are a brother in Christ and said you were not a brother, then they are saying you are not in Christ....just my logical thinking coming into play....

and you are pretending to be a loving mediator?
but willing to post such an absurdity?
purleeze.

the politiking and such is folly and evidence of not knowing what's being said.
more precisely, not caring.

Luk 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Mat 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Isa 65:5 Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

Rom 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Jas 4:12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

Again, who are you to say I am unregenerated because my faith I willfully place in Jesus?
