I guess I should have asked for clarification before answering. Are you asking how can can bring God's Kingdom to others now, or if some how we can facilitate or speed up His second coming? Because I believe the Kingdom is here now, fully inaugurated but not fully manifested. And also I believe we can't facilitate or speed up His coming as if it were up to man when He comes again.

Hi Still_waters, the reality is we are already raised with Christ and seated with Him in heavenly realms because that's where God put us when we were born again. The problem is we don't always, "feel" like we are but we should reckon that we are. So I think we could bring God's kingdom into the world here and now by realizing that spiritual truth that we are already seated with Christ. Yes this sounds very fundamental to our faith but I'm stickin' to my answer and hope that it helps a little... :)

Epheasians 2:6,7

6And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

Number one thing we can do?

Mat 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

How about doing something kind for a relative or your neighbor today - My wife and I brought a home cooked meal to her sister today which brought joy and a big smile to her very busy day.

Proverbs3:27

"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in your power to do it."

Love God with all your heart, mind, soul. How do we show this truth of Scripture to Him ? Daily try to show Him that He is first in our life.

Love our neighbors. How do we show this truth of Scripture to Him? Daily try to do a RAOK for someone, at least, one, and, that can be in all kinds of different ways, not just physical hand-outs.

Love ourselves. How are we showing God that we are in Love with who He created, that we are being His workmanship.

After contemplating what God would have us do, I could not help but think about the conversation Jesus had with one of His disciples in Matthew 22:36-40: "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

What more could one do to usher God's kingdom into this world, besides obeying these two commandments? There is nothing more that crosses my mind, as these two commandments encapsulate the meaning of Scripture for me in its entirety. Glory be to God! Amen.

Grace and Peace!

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law" (Galatians 5:22-23, New International Version, 2011).

This is how we, as Christians, can bring honor and glory to God.

God is preparing us, today, for our next phase in growth in the kingdom. First, he established a race of people to learn about Him. Abraham was the father. God taught them through how they were to live, day to day. They did it imperfectly, but we have scripture to tell us how God wanted them to live and the results of living that way. They were told that God was in the heart more than the acts, but God spoke more of the acts and that is what people saw.

Then God sent Christ to live and die for us, something that was always so in eternity but in our time it happened in a certain year. That was the key to training the pagans to know God. We have done this imperfectly, but we have scripture to tell us how God wants us to live, and this time God talked more about our spirit and thoughts than what we do. God tells us, again, that the acts are important but God emphasizes the heart so that is mostly what people see.

All during these years while we gentiles have carried the leadership of the kingdom, a remnant of Abraham's people have kept the way of living day to day to explain the kingdom. They were blinded to what we know, but their work has always been valuable.

We are going into a new phase. God told us to watch for it by watching for prophecy to start happening. The Jews and Gentiles will be united, just the way God sees us. We see events in our newspapers of prophecy happening. The deep sea scrolls opened up language so that our theological scholars can understand ancient Hebrew to better understand scripture. There was a clearing out of the Hebrews in the holocaust. Groups of people are bringing the new and old testaments together into one scripture.

We who have been given the Holy Spirit so we can hear God are to listen and learn.

Let us hope so. Men bringing the kingdom of God on the earth? I must have missed something in the translation.

The answer itself is not complicated, but, the act itself can quite be :)

'Course, ohzone, IF we ask Him for help in our acts, it's quite simple really. As simple as.......... abc1.jpg

I don't think the O.P. is making a theological statement; i.e.-("We must perfect the world so Jesus can return" type of thing).
I think it was a sincere question.

Yes, rickshafe, so....

....what do you think WE can do to tranform our lives more to bring God to a lost world. There must be some still lost in our sphere of influence who can be saved. How can WE save them :) I mean, I know, I know, we don't save anybody but God uses us to reach people, doesn't He? Sure, He does. What, then, of our being given the gift of the Spirit, as all who receive Him BY FAITH do receive, DO to help others? Just speaking simply here, not largely and grandly and spiritually giftedly, except to say that the Holy Spirit moves through our actions, I think, WE all can agree with :)

Not a trick question.

Matt 28
[SUP]18 [/SUP]And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.[SUP]19 [/SUP]Go therefore[SUP][c][/SUP] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [SUP]20 [/SUP]teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.[SUP][d]

The above verses seem to indicate there may come a time when all nations are discipled, baptized and obedient to Jesus, and it's his followers job to accomplish that. If that is true, how do we go about accomplishing it?

What are some things we can do on a daily basis to bring God's kingdom into this world, and bring about transformative change so things in our sphere of influence are closer to conforming to God?

stilledwater, your asking a very good specific question, that requires a lot of focus to put forth a formative answer that's transformational .

We are to show Love, His Love, capital 'L,' that is what we are to do, that exudes much, it causes people not of Christ to see Him, for God can work so much through Love.

John the Baptist spoke humbly, that , in a sense ,was Love. The people by the sea of Galilee thought that John the Baptist was the Messiah, and, John replied, 'the Messiah is still coming, one whom I'm not worthy to wear the sandals of,' or something similar. God was using John the Baptist to prepare/pave the way for the coming of the Messiah, that was John the Baptist main purpose in life, his whole life plan was to humbly speak when others thought he was the Messiah.

Bringing others to the Kingdom of God requires His power worked through us, just like it worked through those on the Day of Pentecost, speaking in tongues. We can do nothing on our own and that understanding and going about in life will show huge dividends to others, I think, for God will work through a pure vessel who is humble and can be lifted up so that God gets the glory. :)

Stillwaters, if I have learned anything, we do nothing on our own.
Scripture says that God works through us, so we just have to be faithful and willing. :)
Thing is? Gods kingdom is exactly where He desires it to be when He desires it to be.
Ive always believed His kingdom is already in us and with us, its just the world that hasnt recieved it yet.
Its just waiting on His will to be done, and all who are called, to recieive Him. :)

God bless
