How do you know if you are saved/born again?

There is some good, some questionable in the podcast.

Basically we know we're saved totally based on the objective thing Jesus did.
Although fruits do obviously matter as an indicator when one goes to examine themselves.

that question is easy when we recieve the words coming out of our saviours mouth for christ words cant lie they are truth and it is the truth that sets us free and whom the Son sets free is free indeed (from the devils lies) 2nd cor 11/10 as the truth of christ is in me and no one can stop me from boasting in the region of Achaia (they devil cant lie to truth) John 6/68 to whom should we go Lord for You (christ) have the words of eternal life (his words gives you eternal life because His word is above His name . So let christ words which cannot lie be your teacher and recieve the words of eternal life

Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
1Co 14:14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
many many more; no tongues, no spirit, ..non of his...still natural man...
that is the outward sign of an Holy Ghost infilling...he will praise God in an undefiled manner , as GOD PRESCRIBES...
not just acceptance or acknowledgement of Jesus Christ ..not just a moral self adjustment ..
Ac 8:18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,
this is a con artist..he could easily fool people if it was just some self aware, or sign a card stuff ( snake oil merchant, just like many religious today ) he was willing to pay !!! he saw and heard when the Spirit is Given...
and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
he creates universe's down to the smallest molecule ! he is quite capable of saying hello !! IF YOU DO IT HIS WAY ONLY..

Saint-John, I would also add Romans 10:9-10 (9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.) to your list. Personally I feel that if you have the above verses under your belt (both Saint-Paul's and mine) and have been under pressure to commit sin and are resisting, that you can be assured of your salvation. If you are concerned about committing sin even though you don't want to consider Paul's thoughts in Roman's 7:7-25. May God bless you and encourage you.

your life is never your own after conversion because we now belong to Jesus Christ -
like Paul says, ...but Christ Who dwells in me' - it has to be a 100% surrender!

i know that i live with Him because i have died with Him. (Romans 6:8)
i know that i belong to Him because He has given some of His Spirit to me. (1 John 4:13)
this Spirit reveals sin as death in me and in the world, and reveals Christ as life and truth in me - so by seeing sin as death, convicted of it in myself, i know that i have life, and that it is not my own, but from God.
it was't long ago someone accused me because i have a skeleton in my avatar, saying "death is evil" and that i was representing wickedness. but it's because of death - a spiritual one in myself, and Christ's own for our sake - that we have life, and this death revealed and manifested in us through the Spirit that gives me assurance of life. just as i have died with Christ, and He was raised up - so also i live with Christ, and my body will be raised up and transformed just as my spirit has been.
because the work has begun, and the Carpenter is faithful, i know the work will be complete!

You are different! You have a sensitivity to God that you never had before; you have problems you never had before....because the devil doesn't like it that you got saved; you have the Holy Spirit Who leads you into all truth. Being born again is the beginning of your new life in Christ...He has so much to give you and it is all in His word so immerse yourself in it. Just keep believing and you will keep receiving!
