So long you took to find this verse hmmm lets see what are the ordinaces there ?

Are they the ten commandments ?

Hmmm lets see does fulfill mean done away also in Matthew

Matthew 3

13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Thought provoking isnt it because man say the word fufilled means to done way only yet hmmm i wonder if baptism is done away also
Applying the same logic and reading verse 15, then righteousness is done away. Silly isn't it?

If you are looking for an exception, there are much better places to look than that. The Law covers it...

Luk 13:14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
Luk 13:15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
Luk 13:16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
The law? There's not anything in the law of Moses about this. The law says don't do any work on the sabbath.

Hmmm, you think that Christ did not know how to apply the very Law He gave to Moses?

Deu 22:1 Thou shalt not see thy brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.
Deu 22:2 And if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again.
Deu 22:3 In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of thy brother's, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.
Deu 22:4 Thou shalt not see thy brother's ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again.

Now show me where this is prohibited or excepted on the Sabbath.

Isn't it typical of following the letter and the reason Yeshua came to clarify? He says "it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath". He didn't say "it's lawful to do anything you'd like on the Sabbath."
He also says "Sabbath is made for man." It's made for man since day seven, the same then, the same in OT and the same in NT. But NT Christians, not Yeshua, give a new meaning to it.

Yes, the Lord disciplines all those that want to come back into the garden. But it is better that He didn't just give us up cold turkey without seeing if we are capable of being loving souls, and which that is the main purpose of the laws.
Read also 1 Cor 10 then and particularly verse 13: No temptation[SUP] [/SUP]has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted[SUP] [/SUP]beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,[SUP] [/SUP]he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

But instead of following ways He provides, we invented new meanings to His law.

I suggest you take your Bible and pray for the holy spirit and start in Genesis and read it through to Revelation
it should take about two weeks

then all the false doctrines we have learned get washed away.
pray for the father in HEAVEN to send you his holy spirit as you read each time you read and to banish the enemy.

once again :

spoken out of the mouth of Jesus Christ, King of Kings who said in john 14:6 [TABLE="class: maintable3, width: 100%"]
[TR]
[TD]
[TABLE="align: center"]
[TR]
[TD]6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. 7 If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is.[SUP]c[/SUP]From now on, you do know him and have seen him!”

[/TD]
[/TR]
[/TABLE]
[SUP]MATTHEW 15: 16 [/SUP]“Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them. [SUP]17 [/SUP]“Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? [SUP]18 [/SUP]But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. [SUP]19 [/SUP]For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. [SUP]20 [/SUP]These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”

WHAT IS NOT CLEAR ABOUT THIS ?

sorry about the caps... couldn't figure that out for a second *facepalm.

but yeah, i think the Lord has the final say about what is and is not acceptable, and though the Old Testament held merit during it's time, and still does... there was another Testament written called the New Testament,
and Jesus changed quite a bit around.
He healed people on Sabbath, ate without washing His hands first, and 'broke' a number of laws the pharisees couldn't stand seeing broken.

bottom line, it's Jesus... the Lord of all who has the final word, and He did away with many of the strict laws that were previously required by the Old Testament, including animal sacrifices... etc., the list goes on.

here in Matthew, he clearly states it is not a sin to eat without washing your hands first.
there are many other laws that changed because of His presence on the earth.
He was a living sacrifice, not so that we would do whatever we wanted... but so that we could live a life free of endless works and laws to abide by... because He paid the ultimate price.

why would He have done that, and said and did so many different things, seemingly or literally contrary to what the old laws were and what the pharisees were then teaching and grasping so tightly to ?

i'm sorry- i couldn't read all the responses, but it seems like what Jesus said would trump anything the pharisees were clinging to. it doesn't mean we disregard the Old Testament and all the rules and laws subject to God's people in it... it means we respect them, and keep them as we are able to... but in the end Christ rules and has the final say about what is important and what is not.

and he commanded us to Love one another,
not to be bound by countless laws and rules of the Old Testament and it's ways... He simplified things, greatly.

And I am the one that is called a Pharisee?

Of course you are. Pharisees obsessed over the letter like you do. You claimed that one cannot obey the spirit and also violate the letter. You asked me to provide an example where this could be possible, and I did. You even provided your own example that you said was better. So you have, in effect, acknowledged that obedience to the law is not dependent upon obedience to the letter.

So, just wondering here, but IF we keep/obey Jesus when He said:

Matthew 22:36) Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 .) Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 .) This is the first and great commandment.
39 .) And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 .) On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

WHICH OF THOSE YOU LISTED WOULD WE BE BREAKING?
None. :)

We love God by obeying Commandments 1-4; we love our neighbor by obeying the remaining 6 Commandments.

We love God by obeying Commandments 1-4; we love our neighbor by obeying the remaining 6 Commandments.
This sounds backwards. We keep commandments 1-4 by believing into Christ (loving GOD), and we keep commandments 5-10 by loving mankind as we love ourselves.

And how do we love GOD? By keeping his commandments. And his commandments (all of them) are satisfied by loving others.

[h=3]Matthew 15[/h]King James Version (KJV)

15 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
2 Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

ROMANS 10:4= For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.==Christ became the end of the Law by virtue of what He did on earth through His sinless life and His sacrifice on the cross. So, the Law no longer has any bearing over us because its demands have been fully met in the Lord Jesus Christ. Faith in Christ who satisfied the righteous demands of the Law restores us into a pleasing relationship with God and keeps us there. No longer under the penalty of the Law, we now live under the law of grace in the love of God.
