I know a man who is dying of cancer right now. His
wife shows nearly 60 people standing in agreement
with her, he will be healed.
I encourage her God can still perform miracles, but
I can't in good conscience tell her, God is going to
heal him.
Does anyone else have qualms about being insistent
God will heal someone ? Does it show lock of faith
if the person is not healed ? What does it do to the
woman who is holding on to all the scriptures ?
I remember back in the day of 'name it and claim it'
a little girl fell into a swimming pool and drowned.
She was revived and taken to hospital and sent home.
Great....right? No it was not a good situation. People
were sure they were being sent to the hospital to
pray for her to survive the after effects. Then people
wanted to go to the home and pray for her perfect
healing.
I honestly felt bad for the Mother. The child did not
get healed completely. She had round the clock nursing
care, and lived in vegetative state for few years.
Was this Positive Confession ? Or was it Faith ?
Who failed ? God ? The Mother, did she not believe
enough?
I believe in healing. I know does work miracles. I
believe He wants us to ask in prayer for this, but
it just doesn't always happen.
Right now there is a beautiful little toddler who
went through brain surgery. She has to have surgery
again next week. Does this stop us from asking God
to heal her? No, it doesn't. We can only pray... as
Jesus prayed... Not my will, but Thine be done. Amen
