I believe God's goal is always to make us conformed to the image of His Son. I believe in healing and all the gifts of the spirit, however, I do believe God will allow an affliction so that it may produce Christ-likeness in us.

For our light afflictions produce in us an exceeding weight of glory beyond what we can even imagine when we respond to them in a Christ-like way.
Sounds so religiously good. BUT, Okay so if sickness is to change one into the image of God they better not take those pills to lighten God's work of changing them into His image or go to that doctors office to receive relief. Tell those words to a sinner. Just go to the hospital and tell the dying man that God is using that cancer to change him into the image of God. People are being deceived into thinking they are sick due to God's will and the hypocrisy of the deceit shows itself in that they spend a fortune to get the "work of God" removed. Healing is in the atonement. Jesus paid for it. Its for all who will meet the conditions in faith. People often try to build a religious case to excuse their lack of faith or explain away why they are still suffering from some sort of problem. They turn into their own defense lawyers for the client of doubt. The court of heaven is not fooled. The blood of Jesus Christ Speaks CLEARLY!

I get the impression you have a great prayer life and communication with God.
Based on this assumption, it sounds as if every prayer you have prayed you have
had positive results? Like, praying for the sick, you have seen them healed ?
Or the addicted, you have seen them delivered ? Seriously need you in the USA
because we have a lot of needs. Really only Jesus Christ can do what is needed
done over here. Am I reading your post right ? Correct me where I am wrong.
I am logging out right now, but would love to see how you do it. (The special faith).
Glad you pointed it out.i knew this would be coming one day,a dart pointed at my heart for pointing the way out.
you don't need me in usa,by the Power of Jesus every person who came to Him and Accepted Him as Personal Savior following Him based on Holy Scriptural Truths will and CAN do all this.

i was a nobody now living in Faith even when my flesh tries to pull me in the opposite direction.i am Healed daily,am Delivered daily..God is there everywhere. His Holy Spirit was poured out for weak like us at the Day of Pentecost.Seek Him in your lonely times. In Christianity there is Order, but if you are afraid of what others think,or afraid listening to some fools speak( like women or believers should stay under the feet of the preacher who has dictatorship) there will happen NOTHING!!!
SHAME!!! SHAME!!! NO MATTER WHICH COUNTRY YOU LIVE IN..(Perceive God through Holy Scripture, move with Godly Love, nothing will stand against you..)
am a man who goes to a Fellowship where people who Lead Ministry have Consecrated life(celibacy).i have never seen among them women made to sit suppressed, they Pray for women who have calling and seeing the urge THEY PRAY FOR THEM AND TELL THEM TO GO PREACH!!!am saying this all after many probs i went through related to them.

God has called us through LOVE in JESUS.GOD is Love.Yes,there is an order in Christianity. But your personal burdens and personal life with Jesus NO FOOL CAN QUESTION!!!!With Humbleness, everything is possible. No pastor or male dominant idiot(form one previous conversation i realize you are a woman) or any proud fool who speaks foolishness can stop you from the Love of God.

Being a man,an artist, full of passions of every sort,i get stuck sometimes in worldly things..But the Love that Jesus showed on the Cross is enough to breakthrough all those carnal feelings and run to the Cross where am set Free more and more and more...And when He sets me Free more i am reminded to Pray for others,Intercede for others,etc...
Love of God makes everything possible.

If you are a believer in your local Church, sit in Church silently according to the order. From your complaining comment to me its clear you have a Godly burden and you are moved with Compassion for the sick and lost.

Yes! i can Heal the sick without even getting to the phrase 'in the Name of Jesus'..Nothing Special, but the Power of Prayer.
Yes! i can cast demons/evil spirits out without even getting to the phrase 'in the Name of Jesus'..Nothing Special, but the Power of Prayer.Happened in the past. Its not a big thing. But am not planning to go in the open and do it when there are things i need to correct in my personal life,God sees everything..
When i have Overcome to the Level of Sanctification needed i will go with God and Preach and Die for the sake of Jesus,if i have to(He will make me Strong).
All types of Deliverance comes in between, its the Power of the Holy Spirit.

Every country has got its probs,..so if its about the probs you face now, then times are changing.Everything eventually will be brought down to the Feet of Jesus.Nothing will stand with pride against Him.

i want to say that God is Love and if you spend time with God(without excuses) you will see the Power of God.Humble yourself more.Make yourself of no reputation then.Read the life stories of past saints who separated themselves for Godliness and refer with Holy Scripture. And no, am not a very strong super extreme prayer being.i have my short comings, but i know when the Holy Spirit rushes inside me...and i am convinced the day is not far that i will finally start speaking for the oppressed even in Churches to stand for and experience the FREEDOM we are given in Christ.

Not an eloquent speech made here, but everything based in reality, all of it...

If you still have doubts or still have accusations, please ask/tell...(there might be)
To conclude,
do not listen to people who talk and condemns much. But yea, listening and encouraging each other is good.
Their personal views on orders and hierarchy you check with God and Holy Scripture.
we do not know the lives of people who speaks about order and male dominance and supreme nobility of the person in the pulpit.Get rid of fear or Let God get rid of it when you start Praying more...
God Bless and May God provide you confidence to move for Him as His hands and Feet wherever you are.

Note:- "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts(needed at all times,we live in a filthy world): and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:"1 Pet 3:15 KJV
Check the words of people when they cross the limit based on the bold red letters above, keep your patience and move with God and Pray for them also to give them a Change of Heart to be Humble,be it a man or a woman.God will speak to them...

The blood of Jesus is effective to heal the sick, but not all are physically healed. I will not lay another burden at the feet of the sick by telling them that they simply don't have enough faith to get well, thereby making their sickness their fault.

I have seen several churches and many families pray for a woman with brain cancer to be healed. She lived longer than expected, but she still passed away. I related this story to someone who believes as you do and I was told That I and everyone else simply didn't have enough faith.

Interestingly enough, I was one of the first people to declare to her that she was going to be healed. I believed it with all my heart. I had no doubt and I believed in her healing as sure as the sun would rise in the east. Yet when she died, I was told I did not have enough faith.

I'm sorry, but I simply believe God allows some things to conform us into His image. I still pray for healing, but ultimately my prayers end with, "Thy will be done, not mine."

There is a video on you-tube by Derek Prince called " Invisible barriers to healing ". he mentions 7 of them in the video. ignorance, unbelief, unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, occult involvement, curses, demons. Mark 16:17-18, And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18, They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Healing and the casting out of devils comes through a vessel and by the finger of God. God prepares vessels to go out that are filled with the word and the power of the Spirit. God does this in the vessel and through the vessel (2Tim 2:21,Rom 9:22,23, Acts 9:15,16, Jer 48:11,12, 18:4-6). Unbelief can hinder the power of God as it does is all areas of life (Mt 13:58, 17:20, Mk 6:4-6, 9:23,24, 16:11-14, . Many believed by proxy for those who were sick and came to Jesus by faith belieiving. The sick were not turned aside because of sin or some weakness in the flesh. Healing is not based on the heart of the recipient, it is based on the mercy and compassion of Jesus Christ and the faith of those who come to him believing.

Psalm 107: 19-21

19
Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.
20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
21 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Psalm 103:2-6

2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases (not connected with the atonement);
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

Psalm 147:2,3

2 The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

Don't let me be misunderstood in my post. It's not right to give false hope to someone that needs healing, or make them feel less than, when they aren't healed right away. remember Jobs friend telling Job he must be doing something wrong, to have those things happening. The other day i heard some one say, that only a few healings happened in the word. so how many can be happening today? John 21:25, And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

No matter what it is that we go through in this world, in the middle of evil directed at us, of sickness, of war, or of beauty, and all good things, there is one thing we can absolutely depend on. That is that our God is working towards what in Hebrew is called Shalom. We can depend completely in God's care, right up through death when God truly holds us in His arms.

God never answers no regarding something He has clearly spelled out in His word. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not Yes yes and no no but YES and AMEN in Him. For all God's promises are Yes and in Him amen to the Glory of God the Father through us. Pray in faith! Do what you are commanded to do and glorify Father God in heaven! God's word clearly shows the promises of healing available to those who are willing to meet the conditions for it to be fulfilled in their lives! And if that person who is sick has no faith? Have the compassion of Jesus and do the job! Be a good soldier of Jesus Christ and follow His orders! Heal the sick raise the dead and cast out demons! Pray in faith nothing doubting! You can't pray a "if it be they will prayer" in faith! 2 Corinthians 1:20, Matthew 10

This is a most self righteous teaching I have ever heard in all my years of
being a Christian. I am sorry for being blunt, but I am curious what is your
'religion?' I don't mean Christian Church....because a good Christian teaching
church would not take all the credit for the things you have been speaking of.
Is it possible you are being misled ?

This thread is going no where except in a boxing ring, and I don't feel it
gives Christ the credit He is due. He is Victor and it is by His stripes we are
healed. It is by His blood we are saved. And it is in His name we are forgiven.

Would you share what your Religion is ? I am just totally against the fact
WE are the healer. We are not the healer. WE are the instrument He uses.

Okay, I quit. Just curious ....

I believe in God for healing, but I still also believe he allows afflictions to be on us to work in us Christlikness.

Paul describes the many terrible things he suffered,

2 Corinthians 11:24 From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; 26 in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; 27 in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness— 28 besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches."

Yet God did not deliver him from them all. He even told Paul that his grace was sufficient when the messenger of satan was attacking him.

Paul also says,

2 Corinthians 4:16 "For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory"

I believe in all the previous scriptures quoted before me about healing and deliverance, but I know from the lives of the early church and the lives of Christians today that suffering is very real and I believe God allows some of it as I hear his voice in my heart, "My Grace is sufficient for you."

"let God be true, and every man a liar" Romans 3:4. Until you come to pauls revelations, and walk in the power like the early church did? You shouldn't lay claim to what they spake of. The writers of the King James were not pro-healing. But pro-doctrine of sickness for God. They were for divine suffering. Some of their translations skewed things to their way of thinking. Isaiah 53:4 and 5 with the literal rendering of the biblical hebrew, 1 peter 2:24, Mark 11:24, Psalm 103:3, 3 John 2, Psalm 107:20 Matthew 21:22 ect should be enough to get started on finding the mind of Christ on Sickness and Disease. God is not glorified in sickness. He is glorified in the healing thereof. see John 9. Its is not the perfect will of God for His Children to be sick. Its His will that they be healed and walk in divine health. His Children need to be going to Him and Him alone as their only source for healing and health. [h=3][/h]

"Here is a summary of faith and how to use the faith you already have and strengthen it:
It is always Jesus' will to heal, no exceptions, only conditions and these are easily met by grace through faith. II Cor. 1:20

Exodus 15:26 The condition is to be obedient to the truth we have and a heart to learn more. God does not put the sickness on us but allows it for disobedience or for the following reasons: I Peter 1:7, James 1:2-4, Romans 5:3-5.

Please be aware of I Cor 10:13. One way is to use you supernatural prayer language. Jude 20.
Psalm 107:20 The condition is to know Jesus loves you enough to heal you every time because He and His word are the same! The Centurion understood this and the authority of the word. We have the same authority to speak that word over ourselves and others! See Matt 8:5-13. So speak I Peter 2:24 over yourself. Proverbs 4:20-23 and Proverbs 18:21. It was ALREADY accomplished 2000 years ago. Isaiah 53:1-12. In verse 4 the words griefs and sorrows should be sickness and pains. This is explained in Matt. 8:16-17. The tense of 'fulfilled' means ongoing. See Hebrews 13:8. Jesus heals today!
I explained Mark 11:23-24. Your 'mountain' is what you have been told by the doctors. One of the conditions to "move the mountain" is Mark 11:25-26. Make sure you have NO unforgiveness in your heart!

Here are two case studies of how faith works: II Kings 4:8-37. Note the words that came out of her mouth as to what she was believing for. "It is well!"

The other is the 12 spies in Numbers 13 and 14. Note what Caleb and Joshua said when ALL the facts and evidence were against God's promise. Do not let the 'facts' of your situation contradict God's truth in I Peter 2:24, Psalm 103:1-5, Exodus 15:25, Exodus 23:25, Psalm 107:20 (just like the Centurion's servant!"

"........ Matt. 8:16-17, 9:35, 10:1, 12:15, 14:14, 14:35-36, 15:29-31, 19:1-2, 21:14 and she was healed of terminal cancer. The point is Jesus is still willing to heal all who come to Him. The main condition is coming in faith (see Hebrews chapter 11). Jesus will also show you how to act your faith as all did in Hebrews 11. See James 2:18-26. All acted their faith....." Lesjude

The blood of Jesus used in faith works everytime. God is not a humanist. And who really cares who's fault it is. If you prayed and nothing happened I'm coming to you if blame has to be laid. If the person is in unbelief what would Jesus do? Rebuke them? Half the time it was their faith half the time it was His. Don't lay the blame on them. Lay it on yourself. Most the time Jesus Christ sharply rebuked unbelief but there was an exception where a man knew he wasn't believing but asked for help anyway. Jesus moved with compassion put His own faith in place of the man's lack.
I have seen several churches and many families pray for a woman with brain cancer to be healed. She lived longer than expected, but she still passed away. I related this story to someone who believes as you do and I was told That I and everyone else simply didn't have enough faith.
So who are you going to wrong? Are you going to tell Jesus that He and His word was the cause of the failure? Take responsibility for where you failed and fall on the mercy of heaven. Don't wine about your rebuke. Take it to Jesus. Find out why God's word is not true 100 Percent in your life and submit to the fixing of it.
Interestingly enough, I was one of the first people to declare to her that she was going to be healed. I believed it with all my heart. I had no doubt and I believed in her healing as sure as the sun would rise in the east. Yet when she died, I was told I did not have enough faith.
Okay. So? What now? Take responsibility and don't call God's word a lie. Get some faithfulness and diligence by going to God and finding out where you went wrong and go at it again.
I'm sorry, but I simply believe God allows some things to conform us into His image. I still pray for healing, but ultimately my prayers end with, "Thy will be done, not mine."
So you got beat once. Your disheartened. So you back down? You give up to the demon of doubt? You bow your knee to self pity and pouting? You change God's word to fit your circumstances and experience? Man up! Gird up the lions of your mind and fight. Refuse to let doubt rule your life. Live, walk and die by faith.
