nostradamus is nostradamus...deliberately vague and you are even allowed to change the quatrains to make them fit what you think they were predicting...
Thanks. That answers the creditability question :)

I think she is talking about that prophecy which perdicted the popes in order. Of which, the last pope is to be black.
And where is this prophecy found?

NM, the tread answered it later in....

Where in the Bible does in prophesize that the last Pope will be an African black man?
Please understand that when the scriptures refer to the "man of lawlessness", it's referreing to a certain race of man, as opposed to one individual man.
In 2nd Thess.2 Paul said that in the last days that race would oppose and exalt himself above the house of Israel, ie above the caucasian race. Of course like Daniel and John the Revelator, Paul was prophecying about the exaltation of African Americans and about their opposition to white Americans.

But in verse 4 Paul said, that he (the black man) would "sit in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."

We won't know for sure until it happens, but there's a good possibility that Paul was referring to the Papacy and to a black pope.

Hey, one of them has already taken over the leadership of America, and there's no reason to believe that one won't take over the leadership of the Catholic Church as well.

This is absolutely bogus. I've heard about enough from you. Everyone else should ignore this person's posts. She's trolling hard for attention with an unbiblical foundation making preposterous claims.

You are making your own interpretation of the Scriptures. Show me in the Bible, then, where you said, "...the Scriptures refer to the "man of lawlessness", it's referreing to a certain race of man, as opposed to one individual man."

You can't just say that it is fact because you interpreted it that way. Show me proof. In the Bible.

You are all christians and talking bad about other christians is not a good thing, if you like the Pope or not that doesnt really matter, if you're against catholics that doesnt even matter also bc you all know that there's catholics in the world and we all know what is the role of the Pope and i sure know that it's not a bad thing, being a christian is respecting and loving each other and not talking bad about other christians 1st so just respect and pray, being catholic or not, we are all christians and believe in Jesus as our savior so why talking bad about each other? our mission is all the same, preach in Jesus and believing that He's our savior

Being a Christian is about speaking God's truth, not accepting ridiculous lies that claim to be truth.

the whole "black pope" thing isn't about skin color.

it's about the hidden line-up...the real popes (who are just a cover for something else anyhow).

Black Pope

"Black Pope" is a derogatory nickname given to the Superior General[1] usually by the media (and never used by the Jesuits themselves). The name comes partly from the color of the plain black priest's cassock, worn by members of the Society, including the Superior General, partly from a past concern (most prominent around the 16th and 17th centuries) amongst Protestant European countries concerning the relative power of the Jesuits within the Roman Catholic Church, and partly because the Superior General is elected for life.

How many people know what Jesuit means? The meaning of the word is God's marines. (Perhaps because they might possibly be the enforcers?) I could be wrong though but then again maybe not.

The scriptures don't have to tell us specifically that the man of lawlessness is the black race.

All you gotta do is study the scriptures of Daniel, for instance, and determine for yourself whether African Americans fit all that's said about the man of lawlessness.

The man of lawlessness is no more gauranteed to be a black man than it is any other man. How you come out reading Daniel and are sure 100% it's a black guy is beyond me.

I never said he was "a black guy" or "a black man", meaning one man. I said that the man of lawlessness is the black race.

Referring to the number of the "man of lawlessness", God said in Rev.13:18,
"for it is the number of a man, meaning a race of man.

The same applies to us modern-day white Americans. As a race God referred to us as that of a "whore" in Rev.17:16.

im just going to ignore this conversation. Anyone who is reading this: maybe you are a new Christian or a guest just lurking around, don't believe anything this genniet has to say. I strongly advise her to get into a Christ-centered bible believing church. And genniet, I strongly urge you to not try to do anymore inferring on what the Scriptures means concerning this topic. You are severely mistaken.
