The word preach is not PRAY.........and that was the quote!!!

Maybe you guys think we can just change the word of God at the drop of a hat and insert words at will to make our invalid points......I am not one that believes that approach is valid!!!
I realize the word is 'preach' . . . not 'pray'. I was simply posting a verse that contained the words in season and out of season. Sad, based on what I have posted in the past, that you would accuse me a changing the Word of God at the drop of a hat.

Funny how I get a thumbs down when I question an embellished verse not found in scripture and then direct quote a verse that is in scripture....speaks volumes to the spiritual state of the one giving a thumbs down.....
Humm, but when looking a thumbs down from down under then wouldn't it appear as thumb up?

So when you say quote the scripture "pray without ceasing" then what type of prayer are you speaking of? Do you mean prayer as in constantly be asking God?

And I will pray (ask) the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; John 14:16

At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray (ask) the Father for you: John 16:26

Or do you mean prayer like in constantly speaking to God?

15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
16 Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?
17 For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.
1 Cor 14:15-17

Ironic thing about "praying constantly" is that faith comes by hearing.
