Oneness Pentecostal teach the ending of the sonship.

Most Oneness Pentecostal claim that the “sonship” will have an end, but the “Son” will not.

According to Webster, the term “sonship” means “The state of being a son, or of having the relation of a son."

There cannot be a son by ending the state of being a son. Not only is this a contradiction, but the teaching that the sonship or Son will end is not in the Scriptures. It is an invalid assertion based on a doctrine that needs it to be true, not that it is true.

Your thoughts?

Modalism/monarchianism/sabellianism or any other idea that says that the Father and the Son are the same person is heresy.

The apostles and the church fathers did not teach this. Beware of such heresies!

1John.2

[22] Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
[23] Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
[24] Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

To say his sonship ends seems equivalent to saying His Incarnation ends as well.
