Thanks. I've listened to him some, but I'll get back to listening some more.
His series on Finished Work Eschatology #1 starts here on this page. The first one I gave you was far along in the series. You may want to start at the beginning. He seems to have the same thoughts as you do. They are about 20 minutes or shorter normally.

has a story about geologist Jim Berkland who has predicted a mega earthquakie to hit the USA today, FRIDAY, 2016. I believe this man has credibility. I met a man by chance in the Captain Cook hotel last year who mentioned Mr. Berkland. The Captain Cook hotel was being built in 1964 in alaska when the GOOD FRIDAY quake hit at 5:36 PM, March 27th, 1964. I believe people should take Mr. Berkland seriously.
I have no idea why this is on BDF, but I'll bite. Exactly what are we supposed to do for the day if we did take this seriously? Put our chair in a doorway and hold on to the seats of our pants?

Is that eastern standard time?
Sooo, if it were, then what time is it here in Pennsy? Because we're on eastern daylight time now, and I can never remember which area is covered on the other time. Is that New Brunswick's time spot now? LOL

(Just messing back with you.)

(Only hubby knows how to change the clocks on our DVD players, so I have two time zones going on the clocks in this room.)

Maybe SOME of the thoughts.... LOL I haven't found anyone yet with whom I agree fully. Even the author of this book I just posted comes to some conclusions I can't get behind.......... I just like the way he reads the Bible for simply what and how it was written. (I guess I'd make a lousy Catholic.)

Do you have the objectivity to read a short book if I direct you to it? It's online, and it is free. Or, I can e-mail you a "zipped" copy.
Brother I have read so many books on this subject, And changed my view a few times. I am sure one more will not hurt.

Do you have any objectivity? why is it always the people on the other side which do not have any? Just asking.

One of our biggest mistakes is not reading "world" as it was actually written.
One of our biggest mistakes is throwing context out the door. World can be translated many ways, Just because it "can" be translated one way does not mean it should be.

So we must look at context.

All flesh. Does this mean all? or not

Nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom. there was only one kingdom in 70 AD and that was rome.

Earthquakes, famines, all these things in various places.. Around the world or just in Israel?

many things have to be taken into consideration.

One of my favorites, which leads me to believe this is future, is the "great tribulation such as never has been befoore or after" Nothing in 70 AD can compair with the two world wars that part of the earth endured the last century, And if we wouuld have another world war today. It would put those two wars to shame.

So it is impossible to take 70 AD as the great tribulation which will never be surpassed ever again..

then we go back to "no flesh would survive) that was not even a possibility in 70 AD..

BTW, all of these things are very thoroughly addressed in that book. It was quite an eye opener for me.... all my life I have felt we were compelled to get our tails off into the jungle to preach that FINAL word to that very last, eagerly waiting pigmy somewhere.

lol.. We are a ctually closer to that than you think. depending on how you translate nation or tongue.. This should actually be accomplished in our lifetime no matter how you translate it.

and it does not say that. it says great tribulation came to the jews, they could at first flee to the mountains from it. it is quite clear. after which the Jews are to be scattered among all nations (Luke 21.24)..

it does not say that, It says there will be great tribulation period.. Stop trying to add to the word please.

The scattering was prophesied all through the OT, it was nothinng new.

No He did not.
well thanks for you opinion. But I disagree

that was not the tribulation. that was before the tribulation,

Yep. and they did not, and could not have occured in the 30 - 40 years between matt 24 and 70 AD so how could the tribulation have occured?

nonsense. all the things happened before the coming of tribulation on the jews at 70 ad onwards.,
Again, No place does it say to the jews. Your opinion is not founded.

yes the coming of Jesus and the subsequent end of the world. That follows the tribulation on the jews which has lasted 2000 years. Read the FACTS,

2000 years?

Scripture speaks of 3.5 years.

Study scripture. ALL of it. Not just a few bits..

Do you realize how foolish we are?

The Bible tells us not to go for any new doctrine coming down the line. And we ridicule several beliefs, using this as a basis.

But do you know that the "Rapture" was not even imagined until 1585.... and then that one paper written by a Jesuit monk was lost for three more centuries when it was found in a library and was published, and began to be preached as a new doctrine.

So, we are actually accepting exactly what we were told (in the Bible) NOT to accept, even if an Angel brought it to us... a new and different teaching... something no one in the early church ever believed.

Again, Lets not look at history. it is a weak flawed argument.

Thank you I will take the time to look it up
I already have issue, Fear caused by antichrist to christians?

Christians have no fear. Rapture or not we are in christ, and the antichrist can not do a thing to us. If people are teahcing a christian they have to fear anything, They do not know God or the christian life very well.

Yin Yang and circle with a cross are occult symbols... I would be leary of this guy, he's got the markings of a wolf in sheeps clothing.

ROFL...( sorry I couldn't help but laugh at the foolishness of that ). The symbol looks more like rivers of living water coming from the cross of Christ to the world.

I just got to thinking! (Ut-oh!) Isn't it April 23, in Australia already? Which side of the world gets this horrible earthquake? Wouldn't you just hate to be that last timezone? Everyone else is whewing, and you're still holding on to the seat of your pants!
