Another thread inspired me to make this thread, there seems to be a little mix up on faith for most of us. First I want you all to look back on all Jesus did and all the apostles did,, they did healing brought the dead to life Jesus waked on water and it goes on and on about impossible things being done.

Now be honest and ask yourself, do you truly believe these things can still be done? Or was that all just for their time? The answer is yes it can still be done, people assume it is not for our generation because they have not seen any of this done. People say some gifts are not meant for us today some believe certain miracles were only done by Jesus to show an example such as walking on water.

But then why does the word say I can do all things through christ? How many scriptures have you read that only encourage us to live by such faith? I tell you this, you have not seen or done these things not because it isn't for us but because of the lack of faith. I have full confidence some of you have plenty of faith and a great enough relationship with god to do all of this and more, the only thing holding you back is yourself.

Trust me the devil wants you to believe it can't be done, he wants you to believe the doubt that holds you back. Because he knows once you take that leap of faith there will be no turning back and you will be a major threat to his plans. Now me- I have only been a christian for less than a year. I do not have such faith yet but i know i will, because every weakness I have in me will be replaced with God and his love and strength.

The same goes for everyone else, haven't you ever wondered what it would be like if you took such a dangerous leap of faith and succeeded? You might break, you might fall or maybe just maybe you will soar higher than you dare to hope for. So don't say something isn't possible or isn't for you because your just believing lies. God's word says different, after all if the world says you can't god says you can.

Well said. God never changes. He promises that we have his same power through Christ. It is an inheritance. It is there as long as we don't limit it. We limit God by our weak faith. God has no limits.
