I'm thankful for my very life, my friends, family, and most of all living in a country of freedoms taken for granted sometimes.

Good thread Laish for this day before Thanksgiving here in America. Oh dear where do I start to tell what I'm thankful for?? So much because I'm thankful Jesus is with me. Everything I'm thankful for is because of Him. Aside from the warm home and table I'm sitting at right now with my 2 dogs under foot., I'm thankful to not fear what life has anymore. After years of living in fear of "Murphy's Law" coming to pass., today I live in the truth of Romans 8:2
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death."

Walking out in the dark was something to totally avoid but this Thanksgiving life is very different than the Thanksgivings before.
No more fear of the dark., fear of the car breaking or the heater dying. fear of health issues or fear of people. Jesus heals in all areas of life and makes us walking breathing examples of His presence and the reality to believe there is no fear in love. That perfect love casts out all our fears. Just like the Bible says.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! This kind of love and grace is for all of us and it keeps on growing because there is no end to learning about it.

I'll be thankful for a Detroit Lions victory over Minnesota tomorrow afternoon. A Dallas loss will make the day even more special.

I am thankful that we do not have thanksgiving day in Finland.

Keep dreaming tourist, the Minnesota Vikings will not lose!

Fun fact by the way, not only does Minnesota have a large community of Finns (as does Michigan, even an entire village called Kaleva, MI, a huge metropolitan) but Minnesota is two finnish words!

Minne = Where
Sota = War

True story!

Hi all...Tomorrow is Thanksgiving in England...I have never celebrated thanks giving because I have not know anyone who does over here, but my pastor and his wife have invited me for thanksgiving dinner tomorrow evening and I am truly thankful that God sent me these two beautiful American people who are five minutes away from my home, I study with them three times a week :)...

When I got saved just over two years ago, I prayed to God to send me some Christian friends, I had none, and He brought me to them, now through having fellowship with them, I have met many brother and sisters in Christ, and never felt so loved and part of a family as I do with them...

I am also thankful that I came to CC and have many beautiful brother and sisters here, even if we are virtual for now, one day we will all be at the LORD'S table giving Him thanks & Praise...God bless you all...In Jesus name Amen...xox...

I am thankful for my wife and our kids. Thankful also for the grace of God at work in my family (and within me a wretched sinner saved by grace) to read together, pray together, go to church together (all with our 7 year old daughter).

I am thankful for the opportunity that we are building a house, for all the material things, and the books and bibles. I am thankful for all my friends, including my friends on here. All of these things are by his grace, and we are all thankful for his dear Son whom he sent for us.

I am thankful for after so many years,finally learning how to be saved,asking God to save my soul receiving salvation and the holy spirit,being baptized for the first "real time"(first time my heart wasn't in it),and then God calling me to do what I like"teaching about his word particularly salvation and baptism" on this site and others.
Particularly though my first thought is being thankful for God/Jesus putting up with me,and leading me to this site it's really my favorite and considering all that I was hoping for from this site(seeing if there are decent Christian females in the world,finding a place to speak on the bible with brilliant minds and chat here and there)this site really has been a blessing for me,and through the posts here I have gained "perspective" on many subjects,and my own future that I desire,which now is rather simple compared to my old thought for the future...
My life is now God's and so all I really desire anymore before someday passing away is to,Teach and speak when God would have me to especially through the holy spirit to whom ever he wants me to,(still looking to be a kid teacher for ages 5 through about 9)sing the songs he leads me to write,and if possible have some way to someday be with whom I love(only if such a time comes to pass and is allowed),I wholly appreciate all that God/Jesus has done and what he still gives "hope",hope for a better tomorrow,hope for many to be saved,hope to have what one desires whilst serving God along the way.

Thank God for people like this Marine, his selfless action, and the response of the person he helped. May God richly bless Him as he reenters the work force. May God richly bless this couple who were willing to give of themselves, and every other person who helped them.

https://nypost.com/2017/11/22/how-a-homeless-mans-selfless-act-changed-his-life/

I thank God for providing me with a wonderful Christian wife, a loving family, everything that I need to live my life for Him, and placing me in a Church that takes the love of God and saving Gospel of Christ to our community and to the world.

May God richly bless each and every one of you here on this site, and the administrators of the site.

I pray that God will forgive us all of the gluttony that we will participate in tomorrow and the remainder of week.

Am thankful for like minded believers here, and unlike minded believers too. We have to maintain balance. Lol

And always family, and that includes the furry babies. One who is now trying to bury a chew bone in the blankets.

Am very thankful I don't have to cook, but just eat and watch the parade tomorrow. But, I feel sorry for the turkeys.

And for Jesus who introduced me to Father. All my love.

First I am thankful for that we have our Lord and and Savior. Without Him nothing is possible. I am thankful for my sobriety. Without that the stuff below is nothing .I am also thankful for my family Two great girls one 7 the other 17 .Then my wonderful wife .I am also thankful for my two sisters both married to fine gentleman each with two children. We are still greatly blessed to have mom with us too. I am thankful that my family and in laws all get along very well . What is awesome is that all of us will be can gatherings around the dinner table tomorrow ( 30 people) and give thanks . This includes my sisters in laws I also want to give thanks for my friends and the general folks here . My friends for the support and push or nudge that is needed . Also for the few that I may disagree on issues. Because without them I am not challenged to dig deeper or examine myself.
Those are the big things that come to mind our country my job but typing is cramping my index finger. . You get the idea through.
Blessings

I am thankful for my family, my children, my grandson, my spiritual family, my home, and as P4T meantioned bibles, books and spiritually meterial things.

But most of all I am thankful for the mercy and grace of the Lord that saved me from a life that was headed to eternal destruction, eternal fire, eternal punishment and eternal seperation from the Lord, for His Spirit that helps me grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am also thankful that my dad, sisters, daughter are saved and that my mom is with the Lord and for all the blessing from Him.
