This is some notes from some words the Father gave me to speak to His little flock... please excuse the grammatical as well as spelling errors as it is not edited. I Hope it is a blessing to anyone interested, its a little long but the Father is amazing in how He just pours this into my mind and allows me to share...
This chapter is an illustration of dangers of false doctrine, there possible effects and how this can be averted, as we know false teachings were already infiltrating the 1st century assemblies and the apostles were earnestly trying to prevent this, Gal. 5 tells us that heresies are one of the works of the flesh, I wanted to open with the verses in Col. 2 because this among many is twisted and gravely misapplied and misunderstood, even Peter saw this twisting and warned against it, (2 peter 3:16) even the words spoken by Paul in acts tells us this: Act 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. What we see here is false teachings and heresies entering in even during the 1st century, my question is how much fruit has these evil seeds born and what is the extent in which they have effected believers perception of truth now?
First lets address the 1st question: the counterfiet feast days, the complete and wholesale throwing away of the teachings and instructions, the complete reversal of the meanings of many text when properly applied and understood would shed light on the truth not obscure it. the form of worship itself, the teaching that all the things taught in the ot are all but obsolete, despite scripture stateing the exact opposite (1 cor. 10:11)and that He loves everyone and really doesnt mean what he said, and we really dont need to fear Him but just boldly approach the throne, and last but not least all will be "saved'no matter what.
I bring these things forward not to bash or mock but rather to illustrate the answer to the 1st question, now for the second: when the human mind accepts something as truth (even if its not) it is stored in the permanant memory of the brain, when we hear something opposed to this there exist a condition called cognative disonance, simply stated the mind will not accept the truth to replace the lie already accepted, however this is a biochemical response not a spiritual one and the Father can over come this when a soul earnestly desires truth (at whatever the cost) however many are taught that the truth is a lie and leads to bondage, not that this can prevent the spirit from guiding one into the truth, but it is far more diffacult to unlearn a thing then it is to learn it, so the simple answer to question 2 is it effects the mind of the person and blurs their true perception of the truth, the sad fact is despite many years of church attendance many have never heard the true good news.
so seeing all this the question now is whats to be done? (john 6:44) we all see this and understand it, many at frist readily accept the word and embrace it for a time (matt 13) the Savior explained this better then i ever could, anyway my point is this seeing we cannot convince anyone to suddenly acquire the love of truth, we know the fathers knows the ones who do or will and when and how to call them, there are a few that no matter what theology is presented, unless it be according to the word itself it will never be enough, these are the ones our Savior spoke of in Matt. 5:6.
As a student of scripture i see a pattern and what i have come to realize is that the desire of the heart determines the depth of understanding as truth is presented, each person who seeks to be obedient and desires a living breathing relationship with our Creator will only grow in wisdom. its our choice how close we get, He will lead as far as we are willing to go but He will never drag us, or force us, i believe the father allowed all this deception to occure for the same reason He allowed the men of old to suffer hunger and thirst in the wilderness, (duet. 8:3) (Heb.5:8) only by trial do we know our true motives and how far we are really willing to go, The Father already knows, so we then are left with this question, knowing what we know and seeing what we see, what do we do now? even if one out of 1000 people hear what you have to say is your words in vain? we are called to lead others, however we cannot share what we have to those unwilling or in fact unable to hear, it is however our place to yield and avail ourselves to Him to be used at anytime and place, we are to be willing vessles but not just willing but pure and meet for the masters use, our mind body and spirit are to be yielded to his service as bondservants.
I believe the Father is calling forth warriors willing to stand in the gap and fight against seemingly insurmountable odds, however to be such a warrior we first must be trained, and many a believer now is enduring trials and troubles that are suited to the needs of each person just as certain training is tailored for each purpose , the question is how far are we willing to go? and what are we willing to do to get there?
I said all that to come to this, i have observed that no matter what belief you have there is always error and mans pride and other things that taint the true message, welcome to the fallen world, well the fact is that the father called each of us out of error and into the pure truth, its not the word thats flawed but the way its handled and understood, we live in an age where the spirit of complacency is prevailent and this is part of what the savior referred to when He said this matt 24:12 its getting cold, immodesty, lack of the true fear of Yahweh, and worldliness are all present even rampant in the body of believers who claim to bare the true message, so here we stand at the end of the age , what is our part to play? what do we do about these things? the answer is in the construction of the temple, cleanse and purify and sancify from the inside out, the heart is clean the whole person is if the heart be tainted or left to molder in complacency and apathy what will become of the person, if the love of many will grow cold what is to become of the few who remain hot? we are called to a purpose and as no other generation before us has seen the wholesale turning away from righteousness will only get worse, we cannot afford any breach in spirit, not just for our sake, but for the sake of the whole body of Messiah. the good news is our foe has been defeated... i think its time that we as a people act like it, and replace the lies with reality and the powerful message of life and restoration.
There is a messiah of the narrow path, one who leads and protects us, however there is warning : Exo 23:20 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
Exo 23:21 Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
We are not led to a life of compromise but we are to be a peculiar people, we are not called to blend in with the world, neither are we called to be isolated from it: John 17:15 but rather to be a willing spirit through whom His light can shine and penitrate even the hardest of hearts, every time we allow compromise the lens through which this light shines becomes darkened and limits or even cuts of the light from shining, We are called to be perfect and holy i think its time that we as a people stand firm and strong in the freedom and power we have in Him and be that be that vessel, we are accountable and responsible bringing the message of peace and freedom to the precious souls now in bondage, let us stand and be the Warriors needed in this battle for souls.
