A word of warning

Just be aware that making threads calling people out can get you a warning. To report someone you ideally need to copy/paste the interactions and mail them to admins. Adding time/date/time zone can help. But usually just expecting admins to take your word over another's will be ineffective.
But if so many people are saying he has done this to them, and been going on for years, then he should be banned. Sounds like a scam artist.

Not everyone who asks for money is a scam artist but it changes the relationship significantly and negatively if money becomes the issue rather than serving the Lord. Having said that, there are many people in the world who are desperate financially and in the West we live in comparitive abundance so they know that some Christians are willing to share what they have and it becomes a good bet for them to try.

I think that when it gets problematic spiritually is when you feel you are given no choice in the matter, and particularly when you are not clear if the Lord is asking you to contribute, or telling you not to. Guilt is not a good reason to do anything but that is deemed an exploitable resource which is why some will continue to harass, hoping we will cave in.

If someone is asking for personal info, don't give it, ever. Withdraw yourself and seek the Lord. He is the source of your peace and will help you explore how best to be a cheerful giver with limited resources.

So bottom line, if someone is on this site asking for donations of any kind they are breaking the posted rules. And if they are being sneaky about it over a course of years then that indicates a dishonest motive.
