When it comes to healing or anything the Lord is doing in our lives., we are told in the Bible not to look at each other and compare ourselves by ourselves or by each other. It's not our job to live by someone else's faith. What God does in one person's life., He may do differently in another of His children's lives.

Even Jesus said to His disciples when one was inquiring about the other. Jesus said it was none of their business. If a believer has decided to accept the truth of what Jesus has promised and walks in that truth and trusts and relies on Jesus., that believer will see his or her life changed. The Bible promises that the person who acknowledges the Lord, their paths will be straight. It's a promise we can count on.

If a tsunami happens and a believer is spared because of their faith in the Lord's protection., that is a promise that has to do with that believer and Jesus. Good grief it's not wrong to pray for protection or healing. How sad it is for so many here to try to shut down this process of Biblical truth! Keep believing in spite of the horrors of the world. We have to keep believing the promises of God even when the world has no hope. We of all people have Jesus so we have the right to hope in all the promises Jesus died to give us.

Not only for heaven but for today as we live here on this planet. Faith is grown in such times as this. Amen!!

I agree with you completely; but the other side of the issue is the very true statement that prayer is not a license to command God. God does indeed answer prayer; but He retains and sometimes exercises the option of answering no or not yet.

Well yes., And we have to accept the fact that many of the promises He has given are already ours so we can count on them by faith. God has already decided to give us certain things already so we have actually an obligation to believe Him and pray for those promises to come to pass in our lives.

So it is in our best interest AND as honoring to the Lord for us to have faith that God will do as He promised. So we need to know what promises are ours. Therefore we are told to learn the Scriptures and the promises that are freely ours. Amen!

I like to look at Psalm 91 and meditate on those promises and claim each one as mine. I see them clearly as mine and endeavor to walk them out by faith. They are amazing promises and when I dwell on them., the peace that comes in is just what Jesus said., rivers of living water. John 7:38

[SUP]38 [/SUP]He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.

So you have perfect knowledge of who God is? Nothing yet to be known? I didn't think sonone of this even addresses what I said. You obviously missed it

you said: People think they know God who is in fact wholly unknown until glory

and I posted scripture that says that is not true

you say

So you have perfect knowledge of who God is?
we both know along with everyone else here, that I said absolutely nothing even close to this. I posted SCRIPTURE that refutes your LACK of knowledge concerning knowing God

I didn't miss a thing. You did though

drop the hostility.

The following article reveals why benny hinn's nephew came to his senses and turned to God! https://pjmedia.com/faith/2017/09/22/benny-hinns-nephew-renounces-prosperity-gospel/ I might as well though this into the thread about another wof prophet named kat kerr who commanded the storms to dissipate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQM1...ature=youtu.be

IN GOD THE SON,
bluto

posting the actual op once again since this thread is not about personal beliefs

people are free to claim they can walk on water. really

actually, this op is barely skimming the surface of the falseness of Hinn

interesting read about Hinn's prophecies

so either Hinn is a lying fake, or the Holy Spirit is usually wrong

that is the question those who think WOF or Hinn are of God, should be asking

In fact, a lot of prayer should be directed to asking God what His will is for a given situation and then praying that His will come to pass...
The result will inevitably be something very different to a human-centred approach to prayer.
