Jesus is very wise and does not contradict.
He never contradicts himself.
He does want you to study and believe his Bible.
If you come up with an apparent contradiction, it is because you are believing one of those Bible verses wrong

so it is simple to fix that problem.
as you read the Bible verse, say, THAT CONTRADICTS it seems
and I know it cannot contradict
so HOW ELSE can that first verse be taken?

when you find a verse interppretation that no longer contradicts, then you have found the truth.

That is how God leads us into all truth by prayer and CHANGING our FALSE ideas on Bible verses that USED to contradict but now since we have given up our ERRORS they no longer contradict.

so take those contradictory sounding verses
and forget your wrong interpretation of them
and try another meaning
and you will come to the truth eventually.

usually it is a weak translation , like the king james Bible was written by early church of england scholars who had many things wrong.
they thought we are all predestined, which is non Biblical
and they thought hell burns forever
which is incorrect according to any Bible if you just read it

so take the verse and look up the word meaning and you will find the answer
example:

Psa 115:17 The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

and

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

so they are quitely being tormented?

silly isnt it

so let us look up the REAL meaning, not what hades torture loving church leaders of early england invented.

other texts that use the word tormented or tortured were:
Mat 14:24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed (the word they falsely called tormenting) with waves: for the wind was contrary.

Mark 6:48 And he saw them toiling (the word they falsely called tormenting) in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.

2 Pet 2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
2 Pet 2:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed(the word they falsely called tormenting)his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

So they when translating the king james

used overkill on the word TORMENTING FOREVER

when it means PUNISHMENT for a set time

Lot was not TORMENTED FOREVER in Sodom and it is the same word.

so when you get a contradiction in the Bible

this is very good

all you do is click on the word meaning and you find the truth that the king james comittee invented to shore up their false religion of the Day

we are far more into the light now that we can dig and study the word of God

of course some churches are built on false doctrine so they will not appreciate your finding the truth so keep it to yourself or you will cause trouble with the pharisees.

Also you can, if you dont have a computer program, just buy a parallel Bible and read other versions, since they are required to use other words to keep their copyright and you will eventually run into a meaning the the holy spirit says is true.

pray before you read the Bible
no man should interpret the Bible
but the spirit of the holy God will tell you

this is truth
walk ye in it

o
so what about the twisted Bible verse that says they will be otrtured forever and ever, how should it read ?

well if you look up all the greek original words in YOUR king james bible and put them tohggether, they will really say?

They were PUNISHED until they were good and dead.

no kidding

read your Bible
study it
come out of Babylon confusion and into the Bible truth.

So now try this technique and test the 1 John verse by looking up the real meanings of the words

this is again the same case of
the king james guys had some wrong doctrines in their church of England
(probably why YOU are not in the church of England now)
and it came through on their translation.
If they would write things in the Bible in the church of England that contradicted their doctrines the king would cut off their heads, so they choose other words not as clear and making some verses confusing.

The truth is still their, they just didnt use the best words ofr the occasion

get a parallel Bible one that has four versions in one and compare the verses
or
dig deep and study
and find out the real meaning of the words and they become instantly clear

I already know the mistranslation that caused Johh 1
but telling you will not help

look it up yourself
see, you wont believe me
but if YOU find it, you will believe it

for you should only listen to Gods word and not me.

I love puzzles in the Bible let me try:

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1John1:8-9

Yes, many of us completely agree that we are sinful. We all do in fact sin or we are liars according to scripture. Yet in the same book by the same author in 1John3:9 it states:

No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God. 1John 3:9

So how can we sin and yet not sin? Depends if you are born again at that moment. It is your choice. It is an issue with Greek tenses. We of ourselves sin all the time, as I know too well... The only way to stop sinning is to live abiding in our savior the word of God the Bibleand in constant communion with him.I cannot sin when I am praying, so without the born again relationship we sinand with the relationship we do not sin so if you messs up, you were not conitinuing in the relationship you stopped it for a moment that is falling away. if we never fall away we never sin. But Jesus said we fall away 490 times a day, and he calls us back. I realize it after saying something dumb or stupid. There is no way I was abiding in christ with his spirit when I hurt someone. So I have to bring my mind back to the word of God and say what went wrong? and then I am forgiven again and I walk in the right way. So those verses are talking about what we are before being born again and after being born again remembering that in a minute you can loose the connection and fall again, well just return

I think when reading through the Bible I remember that the children of Israel had a perfect relationship with God and Balaam could not curse them then they fell and lost their born again status and many died and were destroyed by sin adultery and eating foods given to idols. So what did God tell them to do when they fell from born again experience, he tole them to return to him and all would be well

so if you are born again, then fall into sin and condemnation, you may always return back to the born again experience and walk right in Gods word again and being obedient to his every word and he will throw his cloak over you like the prodigal son.
I love God, he is so wonderful, I dont want to sin and make him sad.
I am learning more and more about him as I read the Bible.
