We are sapose to repent which is to have a change of mind against sinful thoughts.
Some say dreams are the result of our daily thoughts.
Some say our conscience in the Holy Spirit warning us when we begin to accept temptation.
Some say out subconscious is our spirit which never sleeps and is still sensing things while we sleep, weather in a coma or normal sleep.
Then if we have grudge filled dreams after we consciously say we have forgiven someone, are we unrepentant liers?

Forgiveness starts with the will, and it sometimes takes time for the feelings and memories to catch up. Dreams are the barometer of how those feelings and memories are doing getting caught up.

Thanks for the input Ken, looks like my barometer is stuck pretty good. You see, I believe I could of been a doctor or something that amounted to something. I feel totally useless which is contrary to what the Lord teaches us. We are wonderfully and beautifully made and precious in His sight. When I was a young child I felt that. I felt so good about myself, but later when I aquired a step father and step brothers they took that good feeling away from me and damaged some of my ambitions and self esteem and enough mental capabilities that I had which have left me alone, homeless, unemployed, without the mental ability to graduate college and pretty much useless to anyone. It's not a good feeling. I've wanted a fulfilling life but ended up with no life and no friends. Jesus said He would never leave me but He sure has a funny way of sticken around.

I have forgiven my family for the wrongs I incurred, as I also have wronged many people in my life and hope they have found it in their hearts to forgive me. I've seen alot of shrinks that haven't helped me one bit and I've often asked the Lord for guidance and direction but seem to be going nowhere, just drifting through life and waiting to die and get it over with. Can't commit suicide as it's against Gods will. So I'm stuck on earth in hell and it really gets to me. Do I feel better now? No. Only God can heal directly. Did He forget I'm one of His patients! I shouldn't even post any of this stuff but what's the dif...

What I was getting at is how do I know I have truely forgiven them when I have a constant reminder of daily life in front of my eyes which differ from the life I had wanted years ago. Maybe I'm not really being forgiving and I'm being tested to see if I can really truely forgive?

If we don't truely change our minds, then we truely haven't repented and then God can't truely forgive us and I need to know that I am truely forgiven. My dreams are telling me that I'm still harboring unforgiveness in the back of my mind and the unforgiveness of my step father and step brothers is comming out as a dream in which I am still blaming them for the way my life has bitterly turned out.

My wife died a little over a year ago. For as much as we did together for the Kingdom (check my website if you like), she could not conceive the value or potential of Internet ministry. Even being here at CC, let alone what opportunities it has opened, is a whole new life for me. You CAN start over at your age. God has a new beginning for you, your youth renewed like the eagle. Forget the past, give the future to Him, and start doing it. Choose any good thing, and step out and try, if He does not give you a direct definite leading. The new life will be the strength to forgive in your memory.

It is life that matters but, it is better to repent of sin than to have sin unrepented.

Matthew 26:21-22
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Now as they were eating, He said, “Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me.[SUP]22 [/SUP]And they were exceedingly sorrowful, and each of them began to say to Him, “Lord, is it I?

Wow, doubt is a big faith killer. Don't hold your dreams and what others say over the bible.

1 John 1:9

[SUP]9 [/SUP]If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We are still fallen mean and women, and our thoughts reflect this very well.. it a battle yet.

we are all accountable for our sins.. whether in deed or thought. However on saying that:

[SUP]9 [/SUP]If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

And don't let the accuser make you think you are not forgiven.. For the promise above is true..God is faithful and Just

I put very little stock in our dreams always being reflective of our heart or spiritual condition. For every dream you have that seems to reveal unforgiveness, hatred or lust, how many dreams have you had where you're being chased through the mall by a large rabbit when you only have 1 leg? Pick your most random dream and tell me that it definitely was reflective of your heart:confused:

That being said, it never hurts to be introspective about your life, no matter the motivation. Any time you sense there might something amiss in your heart, pray about, recognize it, and then ask for forgiveness.

Have a great day,

Matt

may be seek out the love of God by reading through out the Bible and for me when I saw how deep this love of God is. This is what changed me, and by this I was made whole and Love as God Loves and loved us all through the cross.
As one grows in the depth of this love, one loves back as a response deeper and deeper. For no one I know can love back any deeper that what they know as to how deep God loves them.
[h=3]Ephesians 3:17-19[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]17 [/SUP]that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, [SUP]18 [/SUP]may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; [SUP]19 [/SUP]and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

It is by God's Love that one can truly Love. So depending on how much one believes they are loved, will only love back the same as their view on being loved.
So if one sees God loves them unconditionally , while we all were yet sinners, Christ died for us to redeem us and give us new life in God's Spirit, then how would you respond?
I know how I respond, THANK YOU TO GOD AND PRAISES TO GOD.
1 John 4:19

We love Him because He first loved us.
