The greater responsibility is on the man to first love his wife sacrificially ... just as Christ loves His bride, the church and gave Himself for it. This is where a Godly husband needs to keep his focus. Any man that takes up his responsibility in this regard will have no issues regarding his own wife's "obedience". I hate even saying the word "obedient". It shouldn't even factor in in a healthy marriage.
A man can love his wife just fine and treat her with great respect and at the same time not want her to become any pastor and go against the word of God. If he does love her, then he will influence her to follow God and not to disobey Him.

Me calling them "false teachers" is true. They spread there anti-biblical beliefs to others, warping those minds just as their own. That is defined as "false teaching". Being led by the Spirit first means doing what the Spirit says. One cannot be led by the Spirit when one is constantly protesting what the Spirit has stated in the verses. You're welcome to your opinion. But the Bible is truth and IT says you are wrong.

that is your opinon not agreeing with you does not qaulfiy as a false teachers.

1 Corinthians 11 doesn't say anything about the woman leading the church or preaching unto a man. So, if you put the verses together, at the most she can prophecy to other women and children, but it is best to just stay quiet. That is what should be gathered from combining the verses. Nothing in the scripture at all allows for her to be pastor nor preach unto men. And this is assuming 1 COR. 11 is even discussing the inside of a church.
never said it does .

the issue was women are to be silent but in chapter 11 they can pray which is not silently and prophesies . Never laed a women can lead a church . that is why you need to slow down and not assume. the question is can a women Preach yes they can.

Correct, they can disagree with "me" all they want. Not agreeing with the BIBLE and clear scripture is what makes them "false teachers".

It sure is right there for all to see. So, your claiming your little Jim Jones comment was no "shot" ? Denying the obvious is what that is.

Your Jim Jones comparison compared a man spreading God's clearly written verses to a man deceiving his followers into committing suicide. Not a very good comparison there for anyone utilizing any logic.

Pontiac could just go to a church he likes.
You people keep harping about this pontiac person so much, why don't you just tell me how old he was and where he was from and I'll see if I can't get the admins to change my profile to fit his. Would that satisfy you folks ?

No need to do that on my part as I believe who you say that your are. I may not always agree with you but you have just as much right to state what you believe to be the truth as anyone else. I believe you to be sincere, and admire your zeal in defending your spiritual beliefs. You are also an interesting person that writes interesting posts, some of which are fascinating to read. You're doing an outstanding job in the threads and are an asset to the community.

Here is just a partial list of the things you and your little "hit squad" has called me on these pages.

Demonic spammer
Arrogant
Bully
Misogynist
Legalist
Pharisee
Dictator
Deceitful
Lucifer

All because I showed you verses in the Bible proving women are not to be preaching in the church. A truth in scripture you do not wish to accept. So you lash out at the messenger and now you claim somebody has been nasty to YOU ? You need to pull your head out of the sand woman and see what's really taken place here.
Actually, the name calling has nothing to do with the verses you continually post, but with the comments you add.

Perhaps it's time to get off your self-righteous high horse and accept the fact that your commentary is not Scripture and is subject to criticism. If you sling insults at others at all, you have no business complaining about the insults from others.

I'm amazed that you claim to have been a Christian for almost eight decades and have learned so little grace, kindness, and self-control. Perhaps that's why nobody believes that you're 93. IMHO, you act about 23.

I Corinthians 14:34 said "keep SILENCE" and NOT "keep SILENT!" Don't you know "SILENCE" means "keep confusion down" as evidenced by the PRECEDING VERSE which says "GOD IS NOT THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION" (I Corinthians 14:33). So apparently these "women" were causing "CONFUSION" in the Church and Paul asked them to "keep SILENCE" and to NOT cause "CONFUSION" or disruption rather "Ask you husband's at home" (I Corinthians 14:35) as not to INTERRUPT!

Blessings:)
