The bible answers itself. When there is a question in one area, the answer is in another area, so we don't have to guess what was meant by that, the bible tells us what was meant by in the days of Noah. Luke 17:27 is an example of that, just also read the verse before it. What was meant is that it came on a normal day, when people were doing normal things. Noah warned them for a hundred years, then suddenly the door of the ark was closed and the rain fell. It was too late for them. In the same way, you have to obey God now, cause once Christ returns it will be too late.

How do you determine what to believe and what not to believe?
i just do though it's a process of reading in thought listening by heart and the answer can come from any direction.

It had not rained on the earth yet. The vegetation got water from rivers and springs that came up from the ground- which is why they didn't see the first rainbow till after the flood.

Yes we are. Wickedness has become right and acceptable to the world just like the time of Noah . The world has become smaller as if we are not divided by oceans. The time of cleansing is at hand. The end/glorious day is near.
I think the scripture has double meaning on this. One is people will be unaware, just going about their business, the other what you point out Tinker.

Yeah, Christ could come at any moment, only God knows when. "People were eating, drinking, marrying, and being given in marriage" all of which happened today. (Luke 17:27).

You have a serious attitude problem, Son. Please don't bring it here. You have a chance to find some friends here, but not if you continue to stay the same.

And I have a good memory. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, though. He comes from a history of places where they can beat you up pretty good. Maybe we can just wait and see.

Well scripture doesn't say it didn't rain while Noah was building the ark.
