Be Perfect.
“Our Father which art in heaven, let me honour thy Name with this efford to share Your Truth. Please let me wash the feet of my fellow disciples and Lor reveal Thy Truth for them. Amen!”

My fellow disciples of Truth and Jesus, let us look at what God does in SAVING a SOUL! Do not assume anythng ASK I will try to answer all questons if you cannot understand. ….

If we read the Bible, we often come across verses that indicates that we should not sin. And that we should be holy, and yes God even said in Matthew 5:48… Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. So God has this requirement of us to be perfect as He is perfect. If we want to know what God means, God sent an EXAMPLE of what He will recreate us too is we want it! WANT IT. That Example was of coarse Jesus Christ. And this is what God does with EVERY person/soul He saves. God re-creates Jesus Christ IN THEM! He turns them all into the EXACT SAME SOUL OF JESUS CHRIST. How He does it was a mystery that was closed for centuries, but Jesus was not only the EXAMPLE, He was also the Messanger that unlocked ALL mysteries. And it is EASY for us to understand.

This is how the Bible says it works…. God will CALL every one that He will save. But not all called will make it, for the Bible teaches MANY are called few are chosen. But for this ppoint we should all just know… God CALLS and that si the START for every saved soul.

God’s CALL is a DRAW. God draws/calls us to something or some place…. Some verses say… God draws, other’s say God leads. Jesus said, nobody can come to the Father, except through Him, but He also said, nobody can come to Him if the Father does not draw him. If we study the word we will come to the Knowledge, that this DRAW is also the calling to be SAINTS! Romans 1. A SAINT is a person that does not sin, not at all! Saint means… Spiritually pure and morally blameless… that is NO SIN! But to be a saint is all in OUR power. ALL we have to do is FOLLOW GOD’S LEAD. Or allow God to draw us to Jesus!

God draws with the Holy Spirit convincing us of the sin in our life. Every sin we STOP doing, or lay down, or die off or repent from, is a step FOLLOWING GOD! It is called many things in the Bible. It is called growth, repentance, follow the Spirit not the flesh, it is called purification, cleansing and sanctification. But it is commanly known as the PROCESS to get us clean. The absolute pur as He is pure is when the WASHING/cleansing/ sanctification is done.

The Bible says that we are BROUGHT to Christ by the LAW to be JUSTIFIED by faith. You see when the Holy Spirit convince us of sin, He uses the LAW as a schoolmaster of how SINLESS FAITH IS! We will stop transgressing the LAW not by the letter, but because we LEARNT that it is just not what we want to do. We do not want to sin, because we do not like sin, and we hate sin. We will NEVER do what we hate, but what we love… and we now love RIGHTEOUSNESS. As the Spirit taught us what to love and what to hate!

God will draw us unti He SANCTIFIED our ALL (body, soul and spirit) in His Truth. Then we are clean and SPOTLESS, but we are not perfect yet. We are saints, but NOT perfect yet. Eph 4 says God appointed people in posts fr the perfecting of the saints… So God will perfect ALL saints! MANY fall away from the Calling, Drawing, Sanctification…. Only a FEW follow all the way to saintship. But these ones will be COMPLETED with GLORIFICATION…. Their spirits will be GLORIFIED! When God glorifies a spirit, He makes that Spirit ONE WITH HIM. God makes that Spirit GODLY! HOLY SPIRIT! Christ Jesus Spirit.

The moment God BAPTIZE a person, God puts that PERFECT Spirit of Christ Jesus in that person. This happens AFTER SAINTSHIP is achieved! So BORN OF GOD happens ONLY TO SAINTS! People that FOLLOWED GOD OUT OF ALL SIN!
All saints spirits goes to Jesus to be REPLACED with ONE SPIRIT… the Holy Spirit of God! That is why the SEED (God’s Holy Spirit) remains in whosoever is BORN OF GOD, and they CANNOT sin, because they have only the Holy Spirit IN THEM! See how a sinful spirit is purified and replaced by a Spirit that needs no purification? Spiritual SWOP took place. Lord if you do not reveal this Truth to any person, it will remain a mystery for him. Please open their hearts.

Sorry, cobe, I thought you would read what I replied to you and you didn't so you get it here, brother.

Again, being PERFECT is Christ, but we are to be perfect, strive to be. Christ, commands us to be perfect, He also says 'He who began a good work in you will complete it,' which speaks of working toward that perfection that will come with our dying and gaining life instantly forevermore with Him. :)

You are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, cobe. Yes, we are to BE PERFECT AS I AM PERFECT, but that's still we with sin, cobe, we are still sinning, you're not deceiving yourself, ,I hope, and, pray, cobe.

Answer me this question, how is one born of God and does not sin, as 1 John 3:9 states ?

Or, 1 John 3:6, those who abide in Him are born of God.

How do these two verses translate to you, cobe :)

We are born again, cobe, we become a NEW CREATION,born again, because of calvary, by His grace we can be born again, through faith, believing in His act at calgary, believing that His GRACE is sufficient. His grace began with re-inventing His own mind how He viewed us (read Zech. 6, we were 'enemies of God' ). His ultimate grace was His sacrifice of His own, BIRTHED Son on the cross, cobe, c'mon now, don't cheapen His grace ! His blood THAT COVERS US, and, YES! we are to still confess our sins, repentance is good for the soul and we are STILL sinning because we are NOT deceving ourselves, right, cobe :)

But, IF we confess our sins, He is FAITHFUL and just to forgive us our sins and CLEANSE US (this is THE BLOOD, cobe) from ALL unrighteousness (this means cleanse us from WRONG RELATIONSHIP with God.) His Son was/is/will always be propitiation and COVERING of sins for ALL who believe in Him, by grace they are saved THROUGH FAITH, cobe :)

God bless ya, brother, I know your heart is after Him

The call to Biblical perfection is simply this, as born again believers we are to die to the will of the person we once were and wrap ourselves in the new man which is Christ. Christ himself is the only one who was or ever will be perfect thus the call to perfection in the scriptures is the call to put on Christ. :)

Yep the Bolld is what will celan is, and it is the ONLY clansing agent to ALL sinners. but that is the grace part, not the LIFE. It is the cleansing part, not the PERFECT part. Although the Blood cleanse perfectly, we will not require it AFTER REBIRTH. Rebirth comes AFTER the cleansing. We are not new creatures when we sin, we are NEW CREATION when we are IN HIM. we only enter AFTEr we are cleansed.

I get it this way... We follow the LEAD of the Holy Spirit, THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS, to be cleansed from ALL sin. then when we are clean, God glorifies us with the SAME SPIRIT THAT LEAD US... Then God IMPLANTS that LIFE OF PERFECTION in our bodies, flesh, and Jesus lives now IN US, and WE IN HIM. John 17. Father I want them to be where I AM, Me in them and they in US! That only happens AFTER we are made holy. Cleansed by the blood, and followed the LEAD of the Spirit.

Once we are IN GOD, we are there ALREADY, and we will NEVER see death. That is what EVERLASTING life means,,,, EVERLASTING.... cannot die. We are IN HIM, and HE IN US. Where is there sin in that picture?

I believe, the Holy Spirit leads ALL THE WAY TO SAINTSHIP, BEFORE He moves into a SAINT! He is the righteousness, we will live, He is the perfection as God is perfect, He is Jesus, And me? I am gone, passed away the Bible says, ALL became new. And the NEW CANNOT SIN! Why because I am not the NEW, Jesus is. I am the OLD that passed...

Paul says it best....I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

When Jesus was is the flesh that Mary gave birth too, He lived a perfect life... Do you think when He is in my flesh, that He will NOT live a perfect life? Nope He will be as perfect as He was then. And He CANNOT be anything less than perfect, HE IS CHRIST JESUS. In me and in you, He can only be perfect!

But He is NOT IN ME YET. That will only happen when I am saint! Followed HIS LEAD till I am crucified. The old sinning Cobus. It happens the moment God gives me REBIRTH... His Spirit quickening my flesh AFTER MY SPIRIT LEFT THIS BODY WHEN THE LAST SIN IN ME, IS LAYED DOWN!

God says if unless a corn of wheat dies, it cannot germinate to give new life. Same with us, UNLESS WE DIE 100% God cannot put Jesus, New LIFE in us. We have to dies off all sin first.

Crossfire REBIRTH is at the END OF YOU DIEING not the begiining. God says WHOSOEVER IS BORN OF GOD, does not sin.... SEE AFTER rebirth we CANNOT SIN. As lng as we sin we are not reborn. This is where you miss the pot.... You are lied too by MANY that reborn is at the beginning of sanctification, and it IS NOT! It is at the END OF SANCTIFICATION.

We do not have to grow in God to be perfect, We are perfect from the moment we are BORN IN GOD! 1 John 3:9. We do not grow sin off, we DIE sin off and every step we die a sin off is GROWTH in faith, not holiness. You are made holy only when the Holy Spirit is put inside you. And then you are 100% holy. AT THE END OF SANCTIFICATION.... It is called GLORIFICATION. God glorifies HIMSELF IN YOU when He implants the Holy Spirit at the end of SANCTIFICATION... Spirit leads people tthrough sanctification, and Spirit fills people to GLORIFY JESUS IN THEM!

Ask if you do not understand how I believe. I will answer you my friend.

I agree with much you have to say however, there are a few fundamental differences. Despite those differences, we stand on the same side which is rare these days. :)

I also believe you misunderstood my point as well. Neither sanctification or holiness are a process, both are the person of Christ himself. When you put on Christ, only then are you truly reborn however, none could put on Christ unless he first be drawn by Christ. Very few seems to understand what it means to put on Christ.

Crossfire, let us start by discussing the words... Holiness is not a process, I agree, Holiness is ONLY found in the Holy Spirit. That is why when God puts the Holy Spirit in us we are made holy that instant. But purification, getting clean, laying down sin, takes time. Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would teach us, and that our love and faith should MATURE. that it would be tested, and tried, but that it brings sertain CHARACTOR to our person.

That is what Paul talked about when he said , one sow the seed, the other water the plant, but GOD LET GROW! I find that we struggle all in our search to GOD, when HE is still leading, but that even Jesus (as Son) learned obedience by the things He suffered. That is what I call a process or the process. God says He that makes koly and they that are sanctified are all of ONE!

And I agree few people know what it means to put on Christ... It is the Holy Spirit baptism in completion. Every one that is clothed with Christ are COMPLETE! They are the CHRSIT-LIKE. Christians... Not disciples, or followers of Jesus, the CLOTHED/FILLED/AND SURROUNDED by Jesus and God.

This is the process... WE HAVE TO LEARN TO TRUST GOD, LOVE GOD, AND OBEY GOD.... All these things are ONE PROCESS... And that is how God set us APART... For HIMSELF, BY HIMSELF! Set Apart, is also one of sanctifications explainations.

Thank you for your time and friendship, and as we share, God's Truth, we are being set apart, to be UNITED IN HIM. And that is ALL I want from all this. To be found IN CHRIST! Not in the world, but IN HIM! ANd in HIM IS NO SIN! May the Lord also put me in HIM! God bless us, with your great mercy, Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1Jn 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

May I also recieve that love to be called a son of God. And may I KNOW HIM. Amen!

Every time I type something here, more of God's Word are revealed to me, so please allow me to keep on typing here in CC, It helps me to discern the lies and the Truth. God's Word is the Truth, Jesus us the Truth, and the Truth shall make us free!!!! Praise the God of heavens for His Truth, AMEN!

May I ask something?

If the Holy Spirit is not put inside the Christian until sanctification is complete/glorification takes place, then I assme you believe a person cannot be a Christian/be saved until sanctification is complete, and glorification has taken place

And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ he does not belong to Christ
But if Christ is in you your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness
Rom8:9&10

So if a person dies before glorification takes place, they go to hell, is this correct?
Or have I misunderfstood what you wrote?

There's an area of study / debate, which I have yet to heavily research, as to when the Holy Spirit actually comes to dwell within the heart of a believer. When you study the scripture there are several instances where the Holy Spirit came upon believers in power. This happened throughout the Old Testament, particularly with the judges and the prophets, however it is debated if they actually possessed the Holy Spirit on the inside seeing as Christ had yet to come in order to restore right fellowship between God and man in the form of the indwelling Holy Spirit.

We know that Christ himself was "conceived of the Holy Spirit" which seems to indicate that Christ himself was indwelled with a portion of the omni-present the Holy Spirit from conception and the Holy Spirit would at times descend upon Him, at His baptism for example. The same could be said the Apostles who received the Holy Spirit when the resurrected Christ breathed on them in John chapter 20 then the Holy Spirit would descend upon them in Acts 2 and in Acts 4.

It's a very interesting study and one that few dare to take on.

Corbus, I don't see why anyone would attempt to ban you seeing as I personally have never seen you once display any bad behavior toward anyone. While I'm sure there are some who would consider Holiness theology to be heretical, I've found that the only reason that they do is because that they hold to some very questionable doctrine for themselves that many would consider borderline heretical also.

BTW - I completely understand where you're coming from with typing helping you to understand certain things. There have been many times I would begin to type one thing but be led by God to type something else and be completely blown away afterward by what I had typed out. :)

The Holy Spirit descended on Christ in bodily form at his Baptism
Luke3:22

Jesus lived in the power of the Spirit(Luke4:14), and was led of the Spirit(Luke4:1)

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another counsellor, to be with you forever-the Spirit of truth.

The world cannot accept him, because it neither ses him nor knows Him. But you know him for He lives with you, and will be IN you
John 14:16&17

One could argue against this point because if this is what you believe then you are basically stating that Christ a mere human up until his baptism. However, we know that Christ was indeed born both human and divine, "conceived of the Holy Spirit" which seems to indicate that the Holy Spirit did not provide the seed from Christ was conceived but rather, the Holy Spirit was the seed in which Christ was conceived. The original KJV calls the Christ-child a "holy thing" which indicates Christ was indeed born both human and divine, distinct from any other human infant / child ever born up until that moment or born aftwards.

Check out Luke chapters 1 & 2 which verifies what I' talking about. The reason I didn't post scripture is because I would have to post huge chunks of it. :)

BTW - What version are you using that states the HS decided in bodily form? Most interpretations state that He descended like a dove.

Why take our my above quote from Luke in your response?

I simply quoted scripture in relation to our discussion.

NIV but my KJV states:

The Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily shape like a dove

But if you were to feel(not saying you are) the NIV is an unreliable translation, again that would be your entitlement

I didn't say Luke was in error, that is your assumption. I simply asked what translation you were using.

Cobus, you have crossed over the picket line and are in the Spirit of truth. And I00% agree with this revelation that God has given you
