Welcome, Shc!

That's a great verse... so much wisdom packed into those ten words! Thanks for sharing. :)

Is there something specific about which you get the goosebumps, or is it just the general awareness that God is real?

Hi all...This Scripture has carried me through these past months :)...
I had a lot of blood test done not knowing what would show up, apart from being type 2 diabetic, my bloods where showing something else...These past 5 weeks I have done just as God has told me , I have been still, then I took this one which carried me through Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand......

That verse reminds me of this passage about God and Elijah:

11 The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 13 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. (1 Kings 19:11-13)

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15)

Excellent post and I have posted that same line several times in several places.

Here is a meditation if you are into meditations, smiles.
At each step take a few seconds to internalize.

Be still and know that I am your God.
Be still and know that I am your
Be still and know that I am
Be still and know that I
Be still and know that
Be still and know
Be still and
Be still

Thank you for this...I have wrote this down and will look at the Scripture, it reminds me where God placed me these passed 5 weeks as I waited for test results back, I rested in His perfect peace, I truly had no fear...

Two weeks ago I had more blood test because it was showing I had inflammation in my body, the first results was high, the second lot came back and today the doctor said no need to worry, it`s all back to normal :)...God has me on a new eating plan due to the diabetes, He has kept me in His Tower, kept me from the evil ones games, He has just kept me still...I am so thankful for all He has done and is doing in my life...

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord, with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding,
In all your ways acknowledge Him
And He will direct your paths straight.

This is what I done, and His word came to pass for me, He is so Faithful, Praise the Lord \o/...xox...

Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

It was not the purpose to destroy the nation (Isreal) to show off His great power, but the reason that God will do this is recorded in Ezekiel 39:21, 22; "And I will set My glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and My hand that I have laid upon them." "So the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day and forward."

It is only by the power that God brings down upon them that causes the heathen to know that our Heavenly Father is God. That will be the only language that they understand. That is why God will do the destruction, and not some bomb or secret weapon in our arsenal.

Why?

Because our Father wants their love. Our Heavenly Father is a loving God and He loves all his children. This all happens in the last moments of this earth age, then all human flesh is done away with, and all flesh is changed into their incorruptible bodies as the angels have. We are entered into that new earth age of Christ's Kingdom.

All souls will bow and worship our Lord Jesus Christ. There will be no death at that moment, only the changing of these flesh bodies into its new lasting forms for the next thousand year period. This was the mystery that Paul spoke of in I Corinthians 15:50-54; and that instant in time was at the seventh and last trump. Then all flesh shall change, not die, but be ushered into the new age of Christ's Kingdom, right here on earth.
