Romans 8:14
Those who are led by the spirit of God are the sons of God.
To be led by the spirit is life and peace... (romans 8:6) Peace is always the work of the spirit.. Unity is always the work of the spirit.. I feel led to write this post not to bring condemnation but to bring peace, Please read it that way.
I have been reading through a few posts on here and some of the responses used with scripture are just heartbreaking..
When a person comes on here to open their hearts we should be prasing God.. Its a beautiful thing.. instead there is so much fear and judgement being spread in response. This is not the work of the spirit..
We need to understand that our natural minds without the spirit know nothing, we are all foolish.. Its only the holy spirit in us that has the truth.... Our opinions on our own really do not count for anything... Infact we can do more harm than good... I know this myself.This is why Romans 12:2 says that we are to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
To be led by this spirit is to speak the word of God.. For example.. Eph 4:29 says Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouth but only that is for the use of edifying that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
So we know that if we are tempted to say anything that is negative or will pull a person down, it cannot be of the spirit.
We must abide in the word to live it, if we don't then we are nothing but noisy gongs or clanging symbols... Doing nothing but hurting peoples ears with our opinions and judgements..
I love you all dearly and just wanted to share this to encourage one another to unite in the truth of the word.
