When you really release yourself to God; start submitting to your Holy Spirit and become a servant, to be obedient. I do wonder for someone that needs to be in control- my mother for example is definitely one of those people; maybe God becomes too challenging? Being led by Jesus contradicts control. Probably is a pride thing, you (self) can do it better.
