peep and mutter...that scripture is shown where the witch called up Samuel.

Do not even go there enow. You cannot be in worship to the King of Kings, Our Lord Jesus Christ...and be calling on the dead for He lives forevermore.

I'm not sure which word it would be CS1. It's battologia in greek but is only found that one time in the Old Testament that I posted.

and it should not be Greek because it was Hebrew writing :)

The article I posted is saying that in 1Kings they were using vain repletion similar to the take heed warning in Acts not to do that.

They were calling on Baal from morning to noon.

​It's vain because they are calling on a god which isn't a God. And Elijah makes fun of them.

Why question it? Do you see something different?

this is not tongues nor would it be applied to what happened in Acts or 1cor chapter 12,13, and 14 :)

This is how the pagans pray...vain repetition. No god...just stone, wood, whatever.

It's not the same thing as tongues. Tongues is spiritual language. I don't repeat the same words over and over. Am sure others don't either.

vain repetition is not tongues :) nor is that what was happening they were speaking in a language that they understood and just said it over and over again thus "repetition " it does not say they spoke in an unknown tongue that is not contextual

Where is the scripture about vain repetition? I couldn't find it? That's why I used that article.

no problem I'n not getting on you , please do not think that I'm. I am also reading what he has posted . and the context clearly is not about speaking in tongues or an unknown language which is the suggestion. one can think that but it is not supported by the text. this why some have to use books and writings of witches because the Word of God does not say what they want it to say . very sad thing that a person would have to use false and demonic books made by witches and youtube false teachers to support the gifts of the Holy Spirit is of the devil. and those who speak in any tongue they do not approve of is a devil and demon possessed . yet claim to be edifying LOL
