‘Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.’ – Philippians 3 vs 2

Hello Beloved in the Lord Jesus, this is yet another inspiring topic I share with you, be Blessed in the name of Jesus. AMEN.

Our opening scripture says to us; Beware of dogs, also it says; Beware of the concision. I want us to look into those two statements.
Firstly, when you see an inscription on the gate of a house which says ‘Beware of Dogs’, What does that tell you? What are they warning you of? The Dogs outside or the Dogs inside? Obviously they are warning you of the Dogs inside. Right? Yea. That tells us from that scripture that that warning was given by the Apostle Paul against the Dogs inside the Church, these are so called Believers and not necessarily unbelievers at all. Uhmmm. Now, the second statement pointed out which says ‘Beware of the concision’ will clearly show us what category of Believers he was warning us against as we look at that scripture again from the Bible in Basic English Translation {BBE};

‘Be on the watch against dogs, against the workers of evil, against those of the circumcision’ – {BBE}

You notice the last line there? He said beware of those of the circumcision. Now, who are those of the circumcision? In the days of the Apostles, they were those folks who believed in Jesus totally, yet they held on to the doctrine of works and not faith, they held on to the circumcision after the flesh and not after faith in the Eternal Salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hence the Apostle by the Spirit asked the Church to watch against them.

WHY ARE WE TO BEWARE OF THEM?

These set of folks are still in the churches today all around the world across all entire human race, these are the folks that believe they are approved in the presence of the Lord by their good works, and when one fail at some point, they thus teach that they have broken relationship with God because of their sins and they need to amend that. O what a crap!

Brothers and Sisters, beware of these people and stay clear from them because they always point you to your works and not the cross; beware of them for they always point you to self and not to Grace! – Selah. They are the dogs been talked about, having a tooth of concision to tear into pieces. By yielding to their teachings, you fall away from Grace, even that precious Grace that saved you and will keep you saved (inspite your flaws) until the day of Jesus Christ. – Selah

‘Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.’ – Galatians 5 vs 4 {KJV}

You see that? If they point you to the Law (Which is implemented by works) and not to Grace (Which is Received by Faith and sustained by Faith in that same Saviour Jesus Christ), then they are out to devour your precious soul for which Christ died for! Flee such a fellow and give no heed to his teachings.

God Bless You.

They are either being funny or this is how they hide their ignorance. I've seen the ignorance on this site just yesterday on my thread. It's alarming but to be expected, scripturally speaking.

There seems to be quite a bit of that on your threads.

No I don't wonder why. The first discussion in satans war room with his minions was 'how can we defuse and make impotent the body of Christ?'
Satan didn't have to think long on the matter. He had already cemented the 'clerical/laity debaucle 'way back at the Tower of Babel and then refined and contoured it with an upper crust priesthood in Babylon. There were plenty of volunteers for those Coveted upper positions of honor and money....just like today!
A long twisted religious history of mediators between the gods and goddesses and the unwashed masses(laity).
Mixed with the Pharisitical and Diotrephes control freak arrogance by the time of the birth of the ekklesia, it was all but a matter of stealth and time ('I'll bide my time my deary' said satan) to implement the deeds of the Nicolaitans into the 'body', putting forever the believers into the back of the bus, as far as ministry functions were concerned. Instead of a vibrant, Spirit anointed 'church' that could turn the world upside down, we now own a 'church' that the world has turned upside down...with relative ease.

Satan has had one good laugh all the way to the bank of souls! Millions of folks who have had the plug pulled on them and nary a quiver. Saved and heaven bound yes but with little to no victory and power in their lives. Their gifts lying dormant for their life times while one man rattles on week after week.
Sit and pay, sit and pay. Not to mention the monotony of it all. Good news: many are finally waking up and checking their lamps.
They have put on their sandals with staff in hand and are exiting Egypt for the promised land. Outside the religious city of Jerusalem to Calvary where death to the old and to that that prospers not. Then resurrection into newness of life. Many embarrassed by how long it took for them to awaken from false precepts and wrested scripture. But now a sigh of relief. They now hear Jesus' voice and will not obey another.
No more bowing the knee to Baal and the Pharisees and to the yoke of bondage which vexed them sore. No longer entangled, now Free ...free at last to know Him and His true plan for them and for His body! His blessings now springing forth from grace and mercy, not bound by mirrors, illusions and trickery!
Many discovering that the pastures ARE green, the streams ARE clear, for the first time! Now they finally see. Praises no longer forced and carnal but now spontaneous and living, out of grateful hearts of joy! Praise Him indeed! Thank You Jesus!!
