Greetings Reformedjason,
I mainly use an old Oxford KJV wide margin at our meetings, but also have a small NASB inside the Bible Cover for reference.
At home on my desk I read from an interlinear KJV / RV and this helps to clarify some of the KJV
On my desk I also have a NKJV and an ESV for occasional reference
My computer is also incorporated in my desk and I run an old version of Libronix (3f), and have purchased a number of packages, which have numerous Bible translations. It is possible to select a verse and compare how that verse is translated in the other versions, highlighting the different phrases used.
In a bookshelf in another room I have numerous translations, as I enjoy visiting 2nd hand bookshops and sales (going to a very large book-sale tomorrow dv). A few could be mentioned
NRSV, RSV, Rotherham, NEB, Young’s Literal, William Barclay’s NT, Jerusalem Bible, New Jerusalem Bible, Companion Bible, NIV Study Bible.
Kind regards
Trevor
